More And Better Bike Lanes June 18, 2008 4:32 PM

Hello

I have a petition at the Link below if any one would like to sign thank you.

http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/more-and-better-bike-lanes

Ridding a bicycle is good for your health and the health of the planet. You do not need a road to ride a bike on.

With the increase in the price of oil it is a lot cheaper to ride a bicycle than any oil burning vehicle which polutes.

It is a very good way to travel. You see a lot more birds, animals, etc. I was in a wheelchair three years ago and find it to be a lot better ridding a bicycle now. It is very good for your health.

Hello

Thank you to all who signed.

I have some more petitions at the Links below if any one would like to sign thank you.

http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/canadian-community-access-program

http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/canada-to-join-the-european-union-eu

http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/whistle-blower-law-for-canada

CAP gives all Canadians and visitors to Canada free access to the  WWW. The Canadian Gov. wants to cut off funding for CAP.

A whistle blower law would help to cut out waste in Govs. and thereby lower the tax rate. A very good idea would be to have a whistle blower law world wide under the UN.

By joining the EU there would be free trade, fair trade, free travel and would give peace a very big boost.

Some people ride a three wheeled bicycle. There is a great shortage of safe places to ride a bicycle , electric scooter, wheelchair, etc. It is much cheaper to build a bike than a roadway for cars.

The 2009 BC disability Games will be held at Maple Ridge - Pitt Meadows, British Columbia on July 22-26,2009.

Hello

With the 2009 BC Disability Games coming we need more multi use lanes now. A roadway for cars is very expensive to build compared to a safe multi use lane for bicycles, electric scooters, wheelchairs, etc. With an aging population more people will be using alternate forms of transportation.  All spaces need to be accessabile.
