pprt rescued this dog off highway over a week ago and had placed to adoption and vetting requirements, its been assessed that is dog has been trained to fight, from puppyhood, and is utlizing that training experiences to be harmful and dangerous to people. the attacks to foster are not minor and have tried all i can to work this dogs problems, but due to the depth of habitual responses and not able to meet the time and fundings or placement to more experienced training rescue, have chosen to euthanize this dog for protection of future triggering aspects that can occur at later aging processes. its food aggressive, animal agressive and people aggressive. kindle
We had struggled long and hard for joseph, which was one of two liver colored dalmatians trapped at an abandoned school in houston, he had kidney problems, heartworm, dental deteriorations, and other conditions that were treated over a 2 month period of time. we thought he was healthy enough to be nutered and placed to adoption lists, but during the surgery for a broken jaw, dental surgery and nuetering, we lost our precious joseph to complications and heart failure. there were so many sponsors, donations, and help over the long haul for joseph, so many had grown to love him dearly.
we thank all of you and many others for your support, your cards and your calls with tears for this precious sweetheart, and special thanks too for linda martin with her poetry of heartfelt love for joseph.
I rescue many, and have lost some on the way that just could not make it due to illnesses or other major aspects. but joseph will always be the one that touched me so deeply, that i will never forget him, his personality, his charm and his endurance of all that he suffered and tried to survive. within my soul i have a permanent memorial for this special dotted boy!
Mary, the other liver colored dot is doing fine, and will be going home to her new family this week, and we are so glad for her, she had not had as much to endure, or the health deteriorations that her companion joseph suffered. we know that mary will be adored, loved and spoiled rotten all the rest of her days with her new family.
still tearfully sad hugs kindle
Peanut passed away late last night or early this morning at the hospital. Thank you all for your prayers, kindness, and generosity. I still need some help paying his hospital bill. I have to go pick the little guy up and bring him home for the last time now. He will be dearly missed. God Bless you all.

These babies for unknown causes and still at labs to try figure out why this occurred or the loss of life . the pups developed anemic condition, and has the veterinary puzzled also.
out of 6 babies at 6 weeks old, only one survivor named jenn, adopted by chase in calif. and will be flown to new owner in the next week or so to her new home. The survivor had a blood transfusion, (along with another sweetie), and managed to survive whatever it is that cause anemia.
rusty had been on the streets surviving for some time now, and no one had seem to pay attention to this dog. the coat was full and thick, and didn't seem that he was skinny...but who could see the truth under all that heavy fur??
a postal person came across rusty in her route and he was wabbly and walked like he been thru a desert, tired/worn and just wandering in a daze.
pprt was called - rusty went to the vet, but the heartworms had eaten the heart so much there wasn't anything left to heal even if the worms were gone from his systems.
for a moment of time, for a brief part of life, rusty was petted, talked too, and went to sleep. We of the rescuing world, and at the veterinary office that see this every day, still not getting use to it, and still not able to keep tears from flowing down our faces for these that are found so sad, so broken and so neglected of human companions to love them.
last night at 8:30pm the veterinary dr toman westend animal clinic called me to give me the terrible news. One of the pyrenese adult females that we just brought in from a back yard breeder, past of heart failure. She had just been spayed the day before and was doing fine, up and about, and all seemed all ok for her after surgery...
she passed several hours later of suspected blood clot to the heart. we were shocked to hear the news here at pprt...
we have foster caring persons that help us up in indiana, and they took in 3 of the chi mixes a few months ago.
juan was one of the few that went to fostering care up north.
he had become tempermental and unpredictable in the new location at time of arrival there & with the new family caring people.
when i was called about the nip and snapping of this dog, i warned my friends to care with this animal and to also bring to more social events, and places, in a hope for the baby to come out of this fear or condition being noticed.
a couple weeks ago juan took to major bite mode, and bit a child with deep injury and severity.
juan was humanely euthanized by the fosters veterinary that had been attending these animals already, about 2 weeks ago.
we hate to loose those that we have saved, these are the hardest to give up sometimes, even when we know better. sigh.
various dogs, have been euthanized from the city pounds. due to TIME OUT, and no responses at all from rescuers to pull them out. with attempts to networking photos and informations, with attempts for phone calling specific breed rescuers, and other pleas and requests on behalf of these precious fur babies. there was no saving them, even with all the hours spent trying to get them help. falling posts (if i can get the darn photos to copy/paste) is the listings of the euthanized animals.
ok, i moved to rural area, that does not have speed servers for my computer and all i have is old fashion, inadequate dial up that continues to give me errors and problems for anything. hate it!
dogs euthanized are photos in my care2 album
SARGE- attack on pet dog, which is presently in critical conditions. sarge is told to be a boxer mix, my guess is rottie and pitt mixed (personal opinion, not fact). this dog took to the neck of a beagle companion pet, the same as pitt would do, and did not let go. the beagle is at the vets office, with critical neck and throat injuries, and may or may not survive. the beagle named jack, is a beloved companion pet of linda martin. Sarge was turned over to animal control right after the attack. Sarge also growled and warned off people that were trying to save the little dog from the attack. when hands were put on the collar of Sarge, he warned he would bite if interupted in his activities. we felt this dog, fostered in by kindle, would not be a good potential pet, and could be another problem in the future with someone else also.
-----------
SILSBEE DOGS - Time ran OUT, and no one pulled to save them. by law the animal control of any city, has a time limit to hold dogs and then to euthanize them.

will continue to try and fix the photo copy/paste aspects of my systems for future dog euthanizing reports.
at the last minute, sarge was adopted by a silsbee texas city worker.
a home where there are no dogs, and no children. in an area that sarge can't be any problems, and able to be the people loving dog that is in him to be.
where it was to be euthanized, was a miraculous saving of this dog!
it is understood by ACO, and the party that adopted Sarge, the above occurrence/incident. precautions and awareness about sarge was taken into account. the new owner, familar with dogs, and handling of all types of dogs via assistances with city dog pound, will be taking all and every precaution and responsibility of this particular dogs nature and past history.
we find that the match is perfect, and that sarge will be able to be all he can be, with no more harm to others or himself. the location and environments for sarge is perfect, and so is his new owner.
sarge was, and is a man's man dog, and seems to be very happy in his new home and with his new family (a bachlor that is giving all attentions to just sarge, his buddy).
a very happy ending, for a bad situation/occurrence. turning our to be a miracle for everyone.

between thanksgiving and new year, we struggle hard for transporters for animals, that could be saved. its not the lack of people that would take them in, as its the transporting the fur babies to other cities and places out of the local areas, where the dogs are.
the past 2 week, over 20 fur babies (out of city facilities-south texas, that i assist postings and informations) have been euthanized for lack of transport volunteers.
several more fur babies are awaiting help, or to be scheduled for death this coming week.
both silsbee and kountz texas city pounds want to save the fur babies, but no one is responding or transporting from this area at this holiday seasons.
if you can help in anyway to save just one of the held dogs in the facilities.
contact
(kountz texas) AJ at creelcritter@yahoo.com
or
(silsbee texas) Rowena at rdmito66@yahoo.com
Kountz is a high kill facility, there dosen't seem to be anyone or a rescue that can help these poor babies, what is sadder about the whole situation, is IKE destroyed this pound and the facility will take many months getting rebuilt and fixed. the conditions are poor for the animals, but the ACO is doing her best, and trying/even begging for help for the dogs.
no one hears the ACO or the crys from this place. very few of the dogs are saved or pulled out.
if anyone would like to help or pull/rescue these animals, A.J. the ACO, would love to hear from you and what help you can offer these fur babies.
seems its a place that is ignored, and the losses are many. i have tried to network this facility and these dogs, and had very little response about them.
contact A.J. (ACO) DIRECTLY IF YOU CAN HELP PULL/RESCUE ANIMALS FROM HER DOG POUND.
