Idaho Wildlife Services captured and murdered a yearling black female Wolf from the Steel Mountain Pack during the Idaho Wildlife Services murder action. They set traps to murder three more Wolves. They defiled the corpse of the murdered Wolf by taking it's skull and turning it over the Idaho Department of Fish and Game for who knows what purpose.
July 24
Idaho Wildlife Services, along with Ed Bangs and the USFWS were unable to determine if a Wolf was responsible for 5 cattle depredations at Trapper Creek, 40 miles northeast of of Idaho City in the Boise National Forest. Idaho Department of Fish and Game authorized the murder of one uncollared Wolf. They set traps which if they by some chance capture a collared pup Wolf from Calderwood, Timberline, Big Buck, Warm Springs or Steel Mountain, the collars will be replaced and released. If it isn't pups they capture, they will murder those Wolves.
July 26
Idaho Wildlife Services collared a gray male Wolf pup.
July 27
Idaho Wildlife Services did a murder from the air operation in Copper Basin, which they murd3red a black yearling Wolf. Idaho Wildlife Services also captured and collared a gray male pup Wolf. Collaring is usually the last phase before they murder that Wolf.
They also re-captured a a Alpha Female Wolf from the Blue Bunch Pack and collared her. While this happened, two Wolves that were gray females arrived to see what was going on with their pack mate. Idaho Wildlife Services murdered one of thme in cold blood and the other was harassed away. In Ed Bangs' weekly reports, he hopes the Blue Bunch will stop attacking livestock now. Which is bogus since as long as all these agencies don't use Non-Lethal Methods Only and Predator Friendly Ranching, this conflict will NOT end.
July 28
Idaho Wildlife Services captured and murdered a gray male yearling Wolf.
MONTANA
July 24
Montana Wildlife Services is out to murder one Wolf and collar another in the Big Hole Valley (NW of Wisdom, MT).
July 25
Graham (first name hidden from the original report by Ed Bangs) McDougal of the Montana WS, trapped and collared a black male Wolf pup.
July 27
Montana Wildlife Services set traps on a depredated heifer to capture and murder two adult Wolves from the Wedge Pack at a privat ranch in the Madison Valley. They plan on tagging and releasing Wolf pups.
July 28
McDougal murdered a gray Wolf adult. Their murdering of Wolves has concluded in this area and they issued shooting permits for the landowner in that area.
WYOMING
July 24
Wyoming Wildlife Services want to murder a Wolf on a ranch near Cora, Wyoming. They also gave the landowner a shooting permit as well.
July 27
Wyoming Wildlife Services is implementing an operation near Daniel, Wyoming to murder Wolves.
Wyoming Wildlife Services is also doing an effort to murder an entire pack on the Upper Green River grazing allotments northeast of Pinedale, Wyoming. They murdered three Wolves so far from this pack.
Wyoming Wildlife Services is also wanting to murder a Wolf that is in the Bighorn Mountains.
ADDITIONAL UPDATE
Through research, it has been discovered that Yellowstone Park is even supporting the USFWS and other murderous agencies. They even call it a 'successful program'.
It is even more interesting that their links on that same page are an exact copy of the links page on the Rocky Mountain Wolf Recovery 2002 Annual Report.
And the page for the Yellowstone Park Wolves has been updated in 4 years. Even before 2003, Wolves were shot, trapped, skinned, skulls taken for research outside of the park.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
1) It is obvious that the Government Agencies listed above care little about peaceful co-existence between Humans and Wolves. Non-Lethal Methods and Predator Friendly Ranching can prevent livestock issues from occuring. Until these agencies educate, use these methods and make them law, the bloodshed will not end.
Here is the proof and methods in particular that work.
1b) Carolyn Sime Gray Wolf Program Coordinator, Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks casime@state.mt.us

1c) Graham McDougal graham_mcdougal@fws.gov
Wyoming
1d) Wyoming Wildlife Services State Director 6731 W. Coal Road Casper, WY 82602
2) Contact the murderous Ed Bangs since he makes those reports but does nothing to stop the murders. He still takes part as it shows above in the latest report.
3) Here are newspapers that you can write about all these atrocities and educating the public about the effectiveness of Non-Lethal Methods and PF Ranching:
4) Contact the Ranching Companies and Ranching Organizations in Idaho, Montana and Wyoming about Non-Lethal Methods Only and Predator Friendly Ranching. This is information that is denied by Government Agencies and needs to be distributed to them. IDAHO MURDERS 4 WOLVES WHICH MORE ARE SLATED TO BE SLAUGHTERED!
"Political language is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and to give an appearance of solidity to pure wind." -- George Orwell
A recent article has revealed in addition to the murder reports by Ed Bangs that Idaho is planning something sinister against Wolves.
Idaho Wildlife Services was responsible for 4 murders and they are going to murder up to 6 more Wolves. So far they have murdered 16 Wolves as of 2006.
In 2005 Idaho Wildlife Services in conjunction with Ranchers murdered 27 Wolves having to do with livestock depredations.
Steve Nadeau, the Idaho Department of Fish and Game's wolf 'specialist' is working with Wildlife Services to find more Wolves and murder them.
As reported by the murderer Ed Bangs, Wildlife Services murdered Wolves on the 22nd, 27th and 28th of July.
Because of the obvious failure of Wolf 'Reintroduction' and how Non-Lethal Methods Only and Predator Friendly Ranching Practices are not educated and enforced, now the Governors of Idaho and Montana have met with the USFWS.
Governor's Jim Risch of Idaho and Brian Schweitzer of Montana met with USFWS Director Dale Hall on the 24th of July asking him to delist Wolves so more Wolves can be murdered.
The problems with livestock issues would have been resolved along time ago if Non-Lethal Methods Only and Predator Friendly Ranching practices would have been educated to ranchers and enforced as law. But because of the USFWS resorting to murder over the last decade and their continued denial of these methods, in addition to not researching them and lying about it, have created this whole disaster.
He is also well known for giving illegal orders and obscurring scientific studies
Only through the education, implementation and enforcement of these methods can Humans be able to live with Wolves in peace and livestock depredations be effectively prevented without losses to both sides.
2) Contact Mark Collinge of the Idaho Wildlife Services. He is the director of Idaho Wildlife Services. Much like the USFWS and other agencies, he too is responsible for the murders of many Wolves. He much like these agencies continues to ignore, deny, and subvert the information, effectiveness of Non-Lethal Methods and Predator Friendly Ranching. He too doesn't educate ranchers about these methods or implements them or enforces them. He too only cares about murder in the guise of peace.
mark.d.collinge@aphis.usda.gov
3) Contact Idaho Department of Fish and Game. They are also involved. Much like the men and agencies above, they too murder Wolves. They also practice the art of decieving, inveigling, and obfusticating of this information. And they too don't enforce these methods to prevent deaths on both sides. Until this agency stops murdering Wolves and starts the true quest of Wolf Recovery, this will not end.
4) Contact both Governor James Risch of Idaho and Governor Brian Schweitzer of Montana. They not only want Wolves delisted so more can be murdered, but Idaho also wants the hunting of Wolves to happen. They need to see that Wolves don't have to be murdered. Livestock issues can be prevented without murder through Non-Lethal Methods Only and Predator Friendly Ranching Practices. In addition to that, Wolves don't deserve to be hunted, like any species. Humans would find humans being hunted, skinned and tossed like garbage to be an abomination. It shouldn't be any different for Wolves.

MORE WOLF MURDERS! PLEASE STOP OTHERS!
MONTANA
In Montana, Carolyn Sime, the Wolf management coordinator for the state Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks in Montana was responsible for the murders of Wolves from the Wedge Pack. She knew that livestock depredations were happening, yet nothing was done to peacefully prevent casulties on both sides. Non-Lethal Methods and Predator Friendly Ranching was left out of the picture.
A rancher was given permission to murder these Wolves, and Montana FWP won't reveal who they gave access to murder the Wolves. The murders happened on the 28th and 29th of July.
Pat Flowers, Fish, Wildlife & Parks regional supervisor in Bozeman, 'claims' that they are working closely with the landowner to monitor the situation given the ongoing potential for wolf-livestock conflicts.
Most likely they are once again going to resort to murder and mayhem in this situation. The education of Non-Lethal Methods Only and PF Ranching in addition to it's implementation and enforcement must be done to ensure the survival of Wolves. But Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks continues to deny everything and continue down this path of destruction.
WISCONSIN
Wisconsin Wildlife Services is trapping for Wolves to murder them in an incident involving the deaths of chickens at a chicken farm in the town of Spirit. Luckily none have been found yet.
They tried trapping once before in the area of the Kerner-Denzine farm which was the site of a depredation in June. Here they came up empty, which was a good thing.
15 Wolves this year have been murdered in Wisconsin by the authorities.
The Wisconsin DNR knows about this, yet hasn't done anything to help the Wolves. They too know about Non-Lethal Methods and PF Ranching, but deny, and hide the information. Wisconsin Wildlife Services doesn't need to be murdering Wolves but promoting, implementing, and enforcing Non-Lethal Methods and PF Ranching.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
Murdering of Wolves has never, ever solved the problem of livestock issues. It is an unethical practice that must be stopped. Only through the use of Non-Lethal Methods Only and Predator Friendly Ranching can livestock depredations be prevented without loss to both sides. This message and the proof must be brought to the attention of all parties below. Contact names and addresses and websites are listed below.

Idaho Wildlife Services, after consulting with Idaho Department of Fish and Game set traps to murder one Wolf in response to two livestock depredations in the Cascade, ID area. The Livestock producer was given a shoot-on-sight-murder permit.
August 2
Idaho Wildlife Services has set up traps to murder up to 4 Wolves in relation to livestock depredation. Depredations that happened South of the Boise River and at a Boise National Forest Grazing Allotment, near Big Trinity Lake. One has already been murdered. These Wolves are from the Steel Mountain Pack. Apparently three depredations happened prior to this one. Depredations that could have been prevented without bloodshed by the use of Non-Lethal Methods Only and Predator Friendly Ranching.
Idaho Wildlife Services has set traps for a pack that has been newly establish also at the Boise National Forest Grazing Allotment but in a different region of it. They plan to collar the first Wolf captured. Collaring is usually the last phase before the government starts murdering.
August 4
Traps are being set by Idaho Wildlife Services to collar one Wolf and murder another. This was in relation to an ewe being killed and injuring a Akbash guard dog.
Idaho Wildlife Services is also investigating a reported depredation in Copper Basin. Wildlife Services are most likely preparing to murder more Wolves.
MONTANA
July 19, 28-29
A ranch in Madison Valley got permission from Montana Fish, Wildlife and Protection to murder 2 Wolves through what is called an 'SOS' Permit. One was murdered on the 28th and another on the 29th.
Montana Wildlife Services was directed on the 29th to murder the Sleeping Child Pack. Ed Bangs, the Wolf Murderer, claims in his report that Montana Fish and Wildlife Proctection used Non-Lethal Methods for 14 days. They say it had no effect or forced Wolves to leave private lands or from livestock. Which is a lie since there is scientific proof of Non-Lethal Methods and Predator Friendly Ranching's effectiveness.
As a result, they murdered three Wolves, and they didn't stop the bloodbath. And in Ed Bangs' report he claims that this didn't stop depredations. Murder doesn't stop depredations, it's Non-Lethal Methods Only and PF Ranching. And considering he and other agencies deny and bury information about Non-Lethal Methods and PF Ranching, it is clear he isn't telling the truth. As a result, the Montana Wildlife Services plans to slaughter the
rest of the pack by next week.
WYOMING
July 31
In response to 2 calves killed in the Bighorn Mountains east of Ten Sleep, Wyoming, Wyoming Agriculture personnel, livestock producers and the county trapper are now notified of the presence of Wolves. They plan on using M-44 equipment to find Wolf activity and murder Wolves in that area.
August 1
Wyoming Wildlife Services murdered an alpha female Wolf in the Upper Green River drainage north of Pinedale, WY. WWS still is attempting to murder Wolves in that area.
Wyoming Wildlife Services have already murdered 4 Wolves from the South Fork Pack, but now they are going to murder the rest of the pack and a livestock producer was issued a shoot-on-site-murder permit.
August 3
Wyoming Wildlife Services is attempting to trap and collar the first Wolf they find west of Daniel, WY. USFWS who is working with them requested WS to murder two Wolves from the area.

And people in the presence of Wolves she claims were used. And claims that livestock incidents are on the rise. Of course they are if you ignore, and don't use methods that are scientifically proven to WORK.
Problem is, is that only cattle rotations and the use of livestock dogs, in particular, Anatolian Shepard Dogs are what are needed. Half hazard use of non-lethal methods and murdering several Wolves in a Wolf pack doesn't constitute Non-Lethal Methods Only and Predator Friendly Ranching. This is in the past several weeks, a campaign by Ed Bangs and Carolyn Sime to smear the the effectiveness and scientific and ethical validity of Non-Lethal Methods and Predator Friendly Ranching. They did meet after all on the 2nd of August. And this action happened just one week after that.
She claims that once Wolves develop a taste for beef, that it is over for them and that they teach it to the rest of the pack. That is not scientifically supported. She claims that they had 'no choice', but this too is a lie. She could have supported, educated and implemented Non-Lethal Methods Only and Predator Friendly Ranching. She made a choice, she ordered the slaughter of this Wolf Pack.

WISCONSIN WOLF MURDERING STOPPED FOR NOW! PLEASE THANK JUDGE! August 12, 2006 12:15 AM
WISCONSIN WOLF MURDERING STOPPED FOR NOW! PLEASE THANK JUDGE!
A recent action alert about the Wisconsin Wildlife Services trapping Wolves along with the help of the Wisconsin DNR over the issue about the chickens killed came into fruition as they started to slaughter Wolves involved in the issue.
It seemed that Adrian Wydeven, notorious Wolf murderer and Wolf 'Recovery' Coordinator of the DNR would have his way and more would be murdered at their hands.
It seemed that no one was willing to help the Wolves in the Government in Wisconsin or their Wildlife Services.
Someone listened.
A Federal Judge by the name of Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly heard our pleas and those of the Humane Society. She sided with us that slaughtering Wolves doesn't equal protection of Wolves and slaughtering Wolves as they have been doing for years was deemed illegal. As of right now, Wolves will not be slaughtered in livestock issues in Wisconsin.
Some such as Adrian Wydeven (surprise) didn't like the ruling and still has the desire to murder Wolves. In fact, he sides with ranchers who still want to slaughter Wolves, like Eric Koens of the Wisconsin Cattleman's Association, rather than wanting to live with them peacefully through Non-Lethal Methods and Predator Friendly Ranching. He thinks still after all these years that by murdering Wolves, it will keep the peace.
It doesn't.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
1) Thank Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly for making this ruling. Wolves have been oppressed for centuries and still are even under the guise of being protected. I urge you to call her and thank her for the ruling. For those outside of the U.S. who can't make the call, get one of your allies that can to do so. Also let her know that Non-Lethal Methods Only and Predator Friendly Ranching Practices Exist, along with those that practice it and use it.
2) Contact Kathy Berg of the Humane Society. Tell her thanks for promoting the idea that there can be peace between Humans and Wolves.
The way through that is of course Non-Lethal Methods and Predator Friendly Ranching to prevent livestock issues without casulties on both sides.
Let her know about Non-Lethal Methods and Predator Friendly Ranching and those who already use it. Her mailing address is below.
Karlyn Atkinson Berg Humane Society of the United States 44781 Bittner Point Road Bovey, MN 55709, USA
3) The Wisconsin DNR claims they will attempt to use Non-Lethal Methods. All are outdated and are not what Predator Friendly Ranching entails or uses. Adrian Wydeven has known about NMO and PF Ranching for years. Remind him that he needs to use what actually works to prevent livestock issues without slaughter.
adrian.wydeven@dnr.state.wi.us
4) Contact Eric Koens of the Wisconsin Cattleman's Association. He needs to realize that Wolves do not have to be slaughtered in livestock issues. Thanks to this new ruling he is going to have to face that fact. Bring to his attention the practices of Non-Lethal Methods Only and Predator Friendly Ranching. Only through peace can this conflict stop and Humans can finally live with Wolves.
5) Ask the Wisconsin Government Officials to support this ruling and to keep the protection of Wolves alive. And to support Non-Lethal Methods Only and Predator Friendly Ranching.
6) Contact the local newspapers in Wisconsin in support of the Judge's ruling and how protection of the Wolves and only through the use of NMO and PF Ranching can bring peace and co-existence between Humans and Wolves.
THANKS TO YOU THE SLAUGHTERING HAS STOPPED. NOW WE MUST DO THE WORK TO ENSURE PEACE AND PROSPERITY FOR HUMAN AND WOLF ALIKE.

Idaho Wildlife Services murdered a Wolf on Danskin Ridge using an aircraft.
Several livestock depredations occurred at Lava Ridge (on the 7th and 10th).
It happened at the Payette National Forest grazing allotment. Widlife Services thinks it was the Hazard Lake Pack (wonderful name for a pack considering ID WS and IDFG are a hazard to Wolves). They under the 'advice' of the Idaho Department of Fish and game intend on capturing one Wolf and murdering another.
August 8
Idaho wildlife Services laid traps to murder a Wolf from the Jureano Mountain Pack, if it is uncollared. This in connection to a depredation of a calf on private land in Panther Creek near Salmon, Idaho.
August 11
Idaho Wildlife Services plans to murder one Wolf and collar possibly another one in connection with a depredation of a cow on private land near Donnelly, Idaho.
MONTANA
August 13
Montana Wildlife Services has set traps in the Wall Creek area to murder a Wolf on the 13th. The Wall Creek Grazing Association apparently didn't want the depredations that occured on the 4th and the 7th to be investigated in that area.
August 8-9
Montana Wildlife Services murdered an adult male and a yearling male from the Sleeping Child pack on the 8th. They also murdered 2 Wolves close to where previous livestock depredations occurred. On the 9th they finished up, as Ed Bangs make it seem like a 9-5 job 'control work', when they murdered a collared femal and a yearling from the Sula pack. Their dead bodies were counted and transported for who knows what reason in the Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks lab in Bozeman, Montana. Ed Bangs, the mass murderer of Wolves congratulates the Wildlife Services field specialist for reporting to his masters at the MFWP and being 'conscientious' about concluding this 'control' action.
WYOMING
August 4
Wyoming Wildlife Services after not using Non-Lethal Methods Only or Predator Friendly Ranching as of 8/9/2006 have had 12 calf depredations in the Upper Green River Drainage. Despite public outcry and them ignoring, and not using these methods, they are going to slaughter the pack in that area since depredations still are occuring. They already slaughtered 2 adults and 3 yearling Wolves.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?

4) Also contact the other Ranching Companies and Organizations in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming, to educate them about these methods.
5) Here are newspapers that you can write about all these atrocities and educating the public about the effectiveness of Non-Lethal Methods and PF Ranching:
8) Contact Federal District Court Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly about this issue. She recently halted the murder of Wolves in livestock issues in Wisconsin. She cited that not only is murder wrong, but that the actions of the Wisconsin DNR were illegal since Wolves are SUPPOSED to be protected by the Endangered Species Act. Which guess what, means that what the activities of the USFWS, Wildlife Services (ID, MT, WY), Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks, in addition to the Idaho Department of Fish and Game are illegal! We need to ask for her to also to help end the senseless slaughter of Wolves in these states in addition to Wisconsin. Only through the use, education and enforcement of Non-Lethal Methods and Predator Friendly Ranching, can this conflict end and peace between Humans and Wolves can become a reality.
Mike Wagner -- Director and Founder of Heart of the Wolf Organization, Honor Fallen and Oppressed Wolves -- and Co-Host of KWF Wolf Conservation, and Web of Life
They want a permit so they won't be violating the Endangered Species Act. This is because they want a permit to harm and slaughter 'problem' Wolves.
This already happened in Wisconsin before last week a Federal Court Judge put a stop to it.
It will be named 10A, and it claims to use Non-Lethal Methods and then murder Wolves in livestock issues if that doesn't work. And apparently ranchers will not have the ability to murder Wolves.
This is absolutely horrid. Murder is murder, and if they get the permit, they will murder Wolves on the behest of ranchers as the Wildlife Services and the Fish and Games in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming do week after week. And they will ignore Non-Lethal Methods too.
We need to send a message that the permit is NOT the solution to livestock depredation issues.
1) First contact the Oregon State officials. They need to realize there is proof and there are those who use Non-Lethal Methods and Predator Friendly Ranching.
2) Contact the USFWS. Tell them to oppose this permit. Murder is not the solution for livestock issues and it has been the solution that the Government has used for many years. The only way to stop this conflict and get people to live with Wolves in the case of livestock, is the education, implementation and enforcement of Non-Lethal Methods and Predator Friendly Ranching.
USFWS Director Dale Hall: dale_hall@fws.gov
3) Contact Oregon local Newspapers about this issue. Write about how this permit would cause countless murders of Wolves and how livestock depredations can be prevented without bloodshed through the use of Non-Lethal Methods Only and PF Ranching.
4) Contact Federal District Court Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly about this issue. She recently halted the murder of Wolves in livestock issues in Wisconsin. We need to ask for her to also to help in preventing the slaughter of Wolves in Oregon. Only through the use, education and enforcement of Non-Lethal Methods and Predator Friendly Ranching, can this conflict end and peace between Humans and Wolves can become a reality.

Idaho Wildlife Services captured and murdered two non-collared black yearling females from the Steel MT. Pack near the Trinity LAkes area in the Boise National Forest. In a sick act reminiscent of 'hunters', they took the skulls of these two victims and are apparently going to be used by IDFG for 'education programs'. They plan to murder the rest of the pack. In other words, they justify the murder of a Wolf by plucking it's skull and thinking it's ok to do this as long as it's body parts are used to supposedly educate people about them. I don't think anyone would like their loved one murdered and their body parts stolen so humans can learn about humans.
Idaho wildlife Services is setting traps to murder Wolves under the authority of Idaho Department of Fish and game.
MONTANA
August 11
A Wolf under the direction of Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks was collared after being captured. This is usually the last phase before these agencies murder that wolf.
WYOMING
August 14
Wyoming Wildlife Services murdered two yearling Wolves of the Gooseberry Pack, west of Meeteetse. Instead of educating, implementing and enforcing Non-Lethal Methods they were instead resposible for cattle being killed in addition to a horse. Because of this, they murdered these Wolves.
Wyoming Wildlife Services also murdered an adult wolf from the South Fork Pack. They could have prevented the 12 calves from being killed if they once again used Non-Lethal Methods and Predator Friendly Ranching. They granted a shoot-on-site murder permit from Mike Jimenez of the USFWS to the rancher. And they want to slaughter the rest of the pack members.
August 16
Wyoming Wildlife Services under the advisement of the horrific Mike Jimenez is going to murder 2 Wolves in Big Piney, Wyoming. They are also going to collar a Wolf in the area.
Again notice in the 'Research' section of this report how they once again ignore the studying, and use of Non-Lethal Methods Only and Predator Friendly Ranching.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?

Non-Lethal Methods and Predator Friendly Ranching can prevent livestock issues from occuring. Until these agencies educate, use these methods and make them law, the bloodshed will not end.

Also the murdering of Wolves for their body parts in the guise of education and scientific study is unethical and vile. I don't think they would like it if a loved one or family member was gunned down in cold blood to be used as a scientific specimen.
Here is the contact information for the agencies at large.

Wyoming Wildlife Services has been doing an operation to murder Wolves in the area near the Prospect Mountains, near Farson Wyoming. They plan to do this operation to remove them from the area permanently.
Wyoming Wildlife Services plans on murdering two Wolves in the area of Cora, Wyoming.
August 26
Wyoming Wildlife Services is planning to murder the last radio collared male Wolf this week. 18 depredations have occured in the area of the Upper Green River Basin. So far, 8 Wolves, 4 adults and 4 yearlings have been murdered in this area.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
It is obvious that the Government Agencies listed above care little about co-existence between Humans and Wolves. Non-Lethal Methods and Predator Friendly Ranching can prevent livestock issues from occuring. Until these agencies educate, use these methods and make them law, the bloodshed will not end.
Here is the proof and methods in particular that work.
Also the murdering of Wolves for their body parts in the guise of education and scientific study is unethical and vile. I don't think they would like it if a loved one or family member was gunned down in cold blood to be used as a scientific specimen.
Here is the contact information for the agencies at large.

IDAHO FISH AND GAME IS GOING SLAUGHTER WOLVES! ACT TODAY! September 02, 2006 11:12 PM
IDAHO FISH AND GAME IS GOING SLAUGHTER WOLVES! ACT TODAY!
The Idaho Department of Fish and Game is set to murder two Wolves by shooting them or half of the Lick Creek Pack which has 4 to 5 adults or yearlings.
This is solely because the Idaho Department of Fish and Game has ignored Non-Methods and Predator Friendly Ranching.
Because like the USFWS and other agencies fail to educate, implement and enforce these methods, livestock depredations go out of control and they blame the Wolves and murder them all.

Navy Threatens Red Wolf Habitat in North Carolina!
The U.S. Navy wants to build a practice landing field in North Carolina in Washington and Beaufort counties, that are currently inhabited by Red Wolves.
Only about 100 Red Wolves exist in North Carolina.
This isn't the first time that creatures in this area have been threatened by the U.S. Navy.
The site was considered once before last year, but a lawsuit by the Southern Environmental Law Center because thousands of migratory birds that in the winter inhabit the nearby Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge.

Idaho Wildlife Services captured a Wolf female yearling from the Steel Mountain pack and murdered her through euthenasia. If more depredations occur the Idaho Wildlife Services will murder more Wolves of this pack. Which they could have prevented the whole fiasco by using NM's and PF Ranching.
The murder action on the Jureano Mountain Pack has been suspended since they collared a Wolf. However they will slaughter any Wolves that are near a rancher's cattle.
August 24
Idaho Department of Fish and Game, is going to murder a Wolf from the Carey Dome Pack, in connection with 2 lamb depredations near the Squaw Meadows of the Payette National Forest, north of McCall.
August 28
Three depredations were recorded by the Idaho Wildlife Services. One was at Sage Creek and BLM land North of Mackay, ID. Idaho Wildlife Services in conjuction with IDFG plans on murdering a Wolf called B-253 by either using traps or murdering him by shooting him from the air.
Another was at Lava Ridge, in the Payette National Forest North East of McCall. Their intent is to murder one Wolf and capture and collar another.
The last one recorded is at Lost Creek NW of the same National Forest. The rancher claims that 100 sheep have been killed by Wolves. As Ed Bangs lamely calls them 'the suspected culprits in this attack'. IDWS and IDFG plans on murdering two uncollared Wolves from the pack.
Idaho Wildlife Services plan on putting a GPS collar on a Copper Basin Pack Wolf even when the pack didn't kill a cow that they were feeding on.
September 1
One of the Sage Wolf pack was murdered, shot from the air by ID Wildlife Services. And they recovered the poor Wolf's corpse for some reason sinister. If more depredations occur, they will murder more Wolves. It should be made aware that this murder could have been prevented along with this depredation had Ed Bangs published his reports on time and IDWS used, employed, and enforced NM's and PF Ranching.
WYOMING
August 30
Wyoming Wildlife Services murdered 3 Wolves from the Black Butte Pack. This area has had chronic Wolf Depredations. Ed Bangs claims in his report that 'we will continue to monitor the situation closely'. Right, and if NM and PF Ranching were educated, implemented and enforced this situation would have not gotten to this point. Now Wildlife Services and Ed Bangs are continuing their murder squads as usual.
Wyoming wildlife Services murdered a yearling Wolf in the Upper Green River Drainage. They plan to murder more of the Green River Pack.
August 31
Wyoming Wildlife Services plans to collar a Wolf in Dubois, WY on a public grazing allotment. Collaring is the last step before the Government Agencies start blasting.
Wyoming Wildlife Services murdered a Wolf near Farson, Wyoming. They plan to slaughter th erest of the pack.
Despite public comment and outcry, Wyoming Wildlife Services plans on slaughtering the South Fork Pack. They claim to have attempted to stop depredations through murder actions. It failed. You can't stop depredations by slaughtering Wolves. You stop depredations through NM's and PF Ranching.

ALASKAN WOLF BEAR BALLOT FALLS SHORT! THEY NEED YOUR HELP! PT 1 October 26, 2006 2:02 AM
ALASKAN WOLF BEAR BALLOT FALLS SHORT! THEY NEED YOUR HELP! PT 1
An article recently released in the PR Newswire talks about a ballot measure in Alaska to ban same day Airborne shooting of Bears and Wolves in Alaska that will be on Alaska Ballot in 2008.
Alaskans For Wildlife has already celebrated this as a victory and thanked Alaska Wildlife Alliance and Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund for helping.
Don't hold your breath. It turns out that Defenders once again practices their on again off again conservation tactics as well as these other groups.
Although Wolves would be protected from private hunters shooting from the air, the whole focus of stopping total Aerial Hunting of Wolves has been forgotten about.
In fact the article has this clause that has to do with the ballot measure.
"As with the two previous ballot measures, this one will also not affect legal ground-based hunting of wolves and bears statewide by sport hunters, trappers and subsistence users. It also includes a provision allowing the use of aircraft by Department of Fish and Game personnel to control predators in cases of biological emergencies."
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
It means that despite the push to ban aerial hunting by private hunters and by the Alaskan Government, the ballot clearly ignores that fight and the progress over the past 10 years to stop this madness.
It will continue to allow the Alaskan Government to blast Wolves from the air since they claim to have scientific proof to back it up. And AFW supports the slaughter of Wolves if scientific proof is there. It will continue to allow ground based hunting of Wolves.
Alaskans For Wildlife is composed of Sportsmen, 'Scientists', and Recreationists. That means that they won't be affected by the ballot. They are hunters and want ground chase hunting. They also support the current management of wildlife in Alaska. So again, they benefit from the current happenings in Alaska.
Making a deal with the devil here is their apparent idea of curbing slaughtering of Wolves in Alaska, rather than stopping it totally.

ALASKAN WOLF BEAR BALLOT FALLS SHORT! THEY NEED YOUR HELP! PT 2
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
1) Contact Defenders of Wildlife and Alaska Wildlife Alliance. Wolves and Bears should be protected from all types of murder. Although a ballot to stop them from getting hunted by private interests is great, it doesn't solve the main issue of Wolves continually slaughtered every year in culls by the Alaskan Government. This ballot doesn't even address or deal with the issue. Plus, you shouldn't be advocating Wolf and Bear Conservation if you are going to sell them out to the Government, Hunters and Trappers (Alaskans For Wildlife included).
As much as Defenders is pitching it's campaign to vigorously stop Aerial Shooting, (https://secure2.convio.net/dow/site/Advocacy?pagename=homepage&page=UserAction&id=432&s_einterest=C3C4&JServSessionIdr007=vt7njg8ck1.app27a)
it's disturbing that this issue didn't even reach the ballot! And the ballot allows for the slaughter of Wolves with the support of science even when Defenders claims to be against that on the other hand.
2) Contact Alaskans For Wildlife about this issue. Wolves and Bears are species that shouldn't be hunted. Not by air, or hunters or for recreation of by the Government. They clearly benefit from this whole fight which was SUPPOSED to be about preventing the slaughter of Wolves and Bears.
3) Contact Senators, Congress and the President. The hunting of Wolves and slaughtering of Wolves through aerial slaughter by the Alaskan Government, private hunters and more must be stopped. This practice has been going on for about a decade. It is also illegal because of the Federal Airborne Hunting Act. It isn't enforced. Small wonder since Alaska is on the fringe from the rest of the 49 States and is forgotten about. Also Wolves are SUPPOSED to be protected by the Endangered Species Act. Once again this activity in Alaska is illegal.
Even worse is the fact that the Alaskan Department of Fish and Game is already being asked to loosen Wolf Hunting Regulations. Two proposals are going to be brought up in November. Which given the history of the Fish and Game, this doesn't bode well for the Wolves.
Go to http://www.congress.org and enter your U.S. city's zip code and everything should fall into place. For those outside of the U.S., use zip codes from any city in the U.S. to gain access. Tell them they need to enforce the FAHA and stop any further atrocities against Wolves!

GRAY WOLF PUPS NEED YOUR HELP NOW! November 02, 2006 11:10 AM
GRAY WOLF PUPS NEED YOUR HELP NOW!
The Toronto Wildlife Centre needs your help to save Gray Wolf Pups.
The Toronto Wildlife Center, which works out of Downsview Park in North York, issued a press release regarding the discovery of Gray Wolf Pups in Northern Ontario with sarcoptic mange. Sarcoptic mange, which is caused by mites that burrow into the skin causing intense itching, was introduced into Montana in the early 1900s by man, specifically to kill Wolves that at the time were considered a nuisance to Humans. Symptoms of mange include skin lesions, crusting and fur loss. Death is usually due to hypothermia or a secondary skin infection.
The Toronto Wildlife Centre staff and volunteers have been scrambling to organize a rescue operation. Capturing a group of wild gray wolves and bringing them into captivity for treatment has never been done before in Ontario.
Funds and other help are urgently needed for the capture and transport of the wolves as well as to build an extensive enclosure that will house the creatures for up to six months as well as cover the cost of veterinary and rehabilitative care and more.
The centre is a registered charity that relies on donations. Funds to cover the cost of trapping and video surveillance and in-kind donations of fencing materials, video surveillance equipment and more are needed. Visit http://www.torontowildlifecentre.com for a complete list of needs. The Wildlife Hotline can be reached by calling 416-631-0662.

Border Fauna in danger of Extintion
The U.S. government has voted for the construction of a wall between Mexico and U.S creating an enormous wildlife barrier. The construction of this wall will: - prevent wildlife migrations between the two countries - destroy the habitat of endangered species - cause water pollution - destroy environmental resources along the border thus further hurting the recovery of endangered especies such as the Jaguar, Sonoran Pronghorn, and Mexican Gray Wolf. We appeal to the U.S. government to work closely with conservation organisations and make use of their technological and economic power to find alternatives to the border planned to be built between Mexico and the U.S which do not cause further damage to endangered species and their environment. While we recognise that the US is entitled to let in whoever they please, border control should not extend to animals, especially endangered species who have used their routes long before humans started dividing the natural world with borders and fences.
Some alerts are waaay too large to be posted here since Care2 has
