Two months ago my beloved 6 year old Shihtzu, Nikko, choked and died by eating a chew that is advertised to be safe and fully digestible. I had Nikko since birth, as I bred his parents. I had a special bond with Nikko, as I picked him from the litter, as he was a little devil, just full of himself. As a grief counselor told me "You didn't pick him, he picked you." The Company that manufactured the treat could care less and refuses to put any warning on thier label.
