Hi there everyone, great idea to have a problem group were anyone can turn to. I'm originally from Liverpool U.K. and now live in the Caribbean. My problem is about a group I joined on Care2 about a month ago, it was especially for "Beatles" fans it was called Octopus's Garden. Beverly who ran the group asked to be put on my friends list, and she also sent lovely comments on "My Page" the other members where really interacting with each other, then suddenly its gone disappeared off the face of the earth. Everybody wants to know what happened! Its as though the group never existed in the first place.  All her comments have gone and she's not on the friends list anymore! Please can you help us Beatles fans. If she closed the group should'nt she have warned the members? because some of us would continue the group! Thanks for listening.

Dear Amy March 22, 2007 4:32 AM

Dear Amy: Hello, My name is Debbie. I moved back home on January 5th, 2007. I have a new computer, and the new Windows Vista Operating System that I am trying to learn so I have not been in contact for awhile. It is hard to keep up on e-mail when you are focused on learning a new program. I don't know where to start, so I'll just leave this the way it is. Thank you, Debbie  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

anonymous I am confused September 10, 2006 8:22 PM

I am in a relationship with a man, who has an erection problem.  I have been with him little over 2 years and we haven't intercourse.  He has medication eg. vigara but it dosen't seem to help.

He enjoys oral in both giving and receivin, but I need the penatration of a man within me.  I have been patient with him and tried many positoins etc, his erection is long lasting

Am i in the right place to ask what you think of this.  I really don't know if it is me or it is him.  He has two extremely bad affairs

I am trying to find out if he isn't sexually attracted to me, I have even been thinking of finding someone to see if he can actually have intercourse with them, and be able to cum in her ...

This is driving me so crazying, that i really don't know what to do. He is a good man, very kind and generous.  Not very intimiate and he like to have sex timed.  I like to have sex when and where the  mood strikes.

Please can someone direct me to the right group.

Greatly appreciated and I think I will keep this one anonyomous

Thank you

Please Introduce Yourself July 09, 2006 8:56 AM

Hey there everyone,

got a mentally retarded sister who is 6 years older than I and all my  life the family has centered around her. I am her brother, Norman and it's been a one hell of a time as my father was an nasty alcoholic most of his life. To my standards, mother had PTSD but she seemed content with life but she never talked to me about anything so I was alone much in life. Life as a youth sucked because father was ashamed of her and would not go places or socialize with anyone, just drink. It's painful when I look back.

Mother died 2002 and is my "silent angel" for there are times in my life when I have no-one it hurts so bad. I really do a lousy job at taking care of myself....I do not seem to respect myself and do not feel worthy....never got praise from parents because it's all sister, no nuturing either but I know there are worst cases so I look up to the sunshine and dream of different things. I admire Henry David Thoreau for his Individualistic beliefs...but now, to listen to father's condemnation I try to help him but it's hard at 84 yo.

To survive I must let go and follow Thoreau's ambitions and dreams for I am having difficulty with the crazy world

Blessing to all

Norman

anonymous Greetings to all! June 20, 2006 10:37 AM

Hi everyone!

I'm Kathy and live in the Washington, D.C. area. I am 56 years old. I'm very grateful to have my sister living nearby. My older brother lives in new York with his family.

My father died in the early morning hours of Jan. 2000. He loved numbers and I believe that he was determined to live until the turn of the century, hanging by a thread, he made it!

The first two months after he died were the hardest months of my life! I had been his favorite child and I adored my father.

I lost my mother on Jan. 22, 2004. I cut a lock of her hair as she lay peacefully after she died. I still carry that lock of her hair in my purse.

I still miss my mother very much. We were very close.

Today, I am divorceed and a well adjusted single. After my marriage ended I have had many, many relationships with men.

right now I am taking some time out to catch my breathe and to reflect on my life and to enjoy the little things in life like playing with my cats and seeing a plant sitting happily in the sunshine full of blooms.

       Hugs, Kathy

Thanks so much!  I'm really looking forward to the recipe thread, and hearing more about catering.  I hope that everything goes well for you in the next few days or weeks while you are so busy.  I look forward to hearing more from you when you have some free time.  [ send green star]

anonymous Thanks for the welcome May 05, 2006 1:05 AM

I love the ideas you have and starting a recipe thread will be great. I'll answer your catering question and post more in a couple of days. As you know I home school and this is the time of year for evaluations and yearly testing that the state requires. I'm a monitor and will be very away and
busy for a couple of days, but I'll be back and posting soon~~
Blessings~

Hello! May 02, 2006 11:06 PM

to the group, Rebecca!

I'm glad that you have so many experiences to draw from that will enable you to help out all of our members here.  You have experience I would love to talk to you more about.  I've often thought it would be great to work as a caterer, so it would be great if you could give me some info about what you thought of that.  I love to cook, too.

If you want to start up a recipe thread, that would be great.  Maybe we could post them as types of recipes.  Cooking for couples, special occassions, etc, because I know some people are at a loss for what to cook under certain circumstances.  Let me know what you think, and if you like the idea, please start a thread, or let me know, and I will start one for you.

Hello~

My name is Rebecca

I have been sneaking a look in this group for awhile and thought
it was about time I joined and posted.  This is a wonderful idea
for a group.

I'm always in need of friendly advice myself and at times a good
ear to listen or shoulder to cry on.

I also feel that God has allowed me to go though situations in
life so that I can help others. Either by giving advice or simply
being there to listen. ( I am also a Christian although I will not
push my Christianity on anyone I will be glad to pray for and
with anyone that ask me.)

I  have had many life experiences of my own such as~

Spousal abuse, divorced, single mom to an 11 year old daughter
whom I home school~

I teach a home schooling co-op class in manners/equate for girls

I care for my elderly mother, my father passed away (12-25-99). My mother has been
depressed ever since~

I have degrees in many cosmetology fields such as hair & skin care, make-up,
nail care, reflexology~

I have lived in Australia and traveled to Japan and Malaysia~

I love cooking and have won awards for my baking and have even had a few recipes
published. I have a tremendous collection of cookbooks.
I grew up working in my mother's  restaurant and have catered parties,
 weddings, social events~

I am a great tea lover and have learned many of the benefits that tea has to offer.
Also recipes for great cups of tea and how to have a proper tea party~

I have arthritis and fibromyliga, I have learned many things over the years~

I don't mean for this to look like I'm bragging here. I just want to offer what I
have learned over the years. I think that we all need the knowledge and support
of those that have been through what we maybe just starting to go through. Even
if it's something as simple as a recipe or ideas for a birthday party. We all need
friends to talk to or is it compute to?!?!

I hope to make new friends here....Blessings~~
I don't know why the first post came out so small~sorry!

I've been on both sides of the fence asitwere, had some problems (few remain) and as counsel. A good listener with a view that not everything is as bad as one may feel it is, learning to be positive and ejecting the negative poles has always been my own remit. So, that said, I'm here................

Hi Ann F April 22, 2006 12:39 PM

When you get stressed try.

Now is the time for you to imagine a very large canvas in front of you, this canvas is old and quite grey, in parts it is nearly black, it has a misty look about it, and perhaps it could be raining, so very gloomy that nothing is clear.

This is a canvas of all your fears, doubts, things that have troubled you in the past, and the present, sit and look at this for a moment, it may look very bad, but it is not so bad, that it cannot be changed.

If you look down, on the floor there is a brush that has the smallest trace of yellow at the very tip, pick this brush up and touch it near the top of the canvas.

Sit there and watch that little speck of yellow as it grows and grows into a shinning sun, watch the canvas become brighter, see the rays of the sun cover all the dark patches. Watch for the rainbow, as the picture becomes clearer, when it is clear and the rainbow begins to fade, again look on the floor, there is a clean brush, and a big jar labelled LOVE dip the brush in, cover it all over with the contents. Then with big strokes cover the whole canvas every little part with the beauty and colours of love.

The canvas is now shining white as all the colours are mixed together, all the fears and doubts have been swept away by love.

Now it is for you to paint a picture of something beautiful, you are nearly there, the jar of LOVE is still full, use it well.

Remember that it is others that supply the paint, but only you can use the brush.

 AJ

Oops April 22, 2006 7:14 AM

I guess I should introduce MYSELF, huh?

For those of you who don't know me (I don't think there are too many of you here):

I am a member of the Air Force, and my job is Security Forces (the military version of a cop).  Like most everyone, there are days that I love my job, and days that I hate it.  The lifestyle is a little bit more than I'm really into, so I won't stay in past my 6 year enlistment.  Still, the benefits are good, and I've had some great experiences that I wouldn't have otherwise.  I haven't decided what I want to do when I get out, mostly because there are so many things that interest me, that I simply can't decide.

I live alone with two cats, and have been dating a great guy for about two months now.  We'll see how that fares when I have to deploy for six months around the end of May/beginning of June.  I guess that's about it for now.  Let me know if there's anything you want to know about me (and don't already ) and I'll make sure I fill you in - I'm very open and honest.

My hope for this group is that through shared experiences and circumstances, we'll all be able to help each other through some of the problems and issues in common that we face.  Not to knock professional therapy, but I think you can get a lot from friends, and most people can learn from experiences, whether they are there own or not.  The way I figure, why make all the mistakes for yourself if you don't have to?  Why not learn from others!
