I'm afraid to say Sarvo that Care2 are extremely slow to react and tend to do nothing regarding complaints. There are known scammers working Care2, reported by numerous people, who have been left to continue scamming the many kind people that joined Care2 because it seems populated with like minded caring people.
I'm certain there are many Christian members of this group who will see the true motives behind these posts and realise that here is another of those false witnesses that the bible warns about.
I agree completely, George. I think it proves just how kind God is that an ideology that has been so much corrupted can still help a truly sincere person become an actual lover of God.
Conversely I had a conversation tonight with a Christian who I do believe had a vision of Jesus. He said because of his experience he has stopped believing in Hell, the Devil and Evil.
I understood exactly where he was coming from. This is some of what he said happened to him as a result:
"1. I no longer worried that God would judge me at the end of my life..
2. I stopped judging others, and I stopped judging myself..
3. I stopped blaming others and I stopped blaming myself...
4. I began to treat others and myself with more compassion..
5. I began to value every moment I spent with a loved one

10. I now live a much more peaceful life and I feel incredible BLISS every day of my life.."

So tell me what Jesus said to you? You seem to have some understanding of ego, did Jesus explain how that works? Does typing in extra large font help with ego? Shouting a lot, does that help?
I think anyone that knows me would laugh at what you said about me, I'm pretty passionate about god, and I'm very interested in exchanging information with those that have had visions such as me. This is why I ask about peoples experiences and I continue to assert that a great many Christians that claim such a connection are unable to discuss the matter beyond "it was indescribeable".
So far, I rather doubt you talk to Jesus all the time, other than the one way conversation many people have. Yes, god is always listening this is true, but that's not really a conversation is it?

The Judeo/Christian tradition has been methodically destroyed over the course of centuries. It is a joke to anyone who is at all intelligent and it has become a fertile breeding ground for atheism. It's amazing that sincere people can develop love of God anyway. It's a real testimony to the wonderful mercy of the Supreme Being.
I've been kind puzzled why more Christians haven't figured this out. He never ressurected into another physical body, he ascended into his Light Body. That's why he's described as this brilliant glowing floating Being after the resurrection and why he told them not to touch him.
To mundane eyes it may have seemed as if Jesus died. He was, however, a Shakti Avesha Avatar and so not subject to the three modes of material nature like you and I. He was fully transcendental. He was directly an instrument of God's will. In this way he was non-different than God. The Christians are all meant to become like that. Unfortunately they are engaging in all kinds of sinful activities like killing animals for their flesh. Therefore they will not fulfill the requirements enumerated by our Saviour and will be less likely to recieve his blessings.

I have felt the Angels of our Lord. Ever smelt a fragrance you could not explain. Thank God thy are encamps around us. Satan told God he could not touch Job because of the hedge around him. The closer we get to our Lord the more in Spirit we can experience Gods closeness in love only. Love is the way to Gods heart. I would like to be like David a man after Gods on heart. We can all be like that love and devotional to our Father. God bless everyone.
Yes, I have felt 'angels' and feel that I have known several in particular. I know some people who have angels surrounding them
because they are at a time of life when they are lost. One friend
in particular has no idea they are around him, but I smile when looking
at him because I can see their energy near him.

I was driving along in my car once and my dead grandfather was definately there with me. I have has similar experiences with my dead husband.
I've felt the presence of departed souls. I was in a hellish car
accident once and the person next to me died. Years later I felt his
presence in a situation where I could really tell he was helping me. I
suspect that those who have gone before can, if they like, take the
position of guardian angel. I have no doubt that each and everyone of us
have legions and choirs and armies of angels pulling for us and
blessing us in nearly unlimited different, wonderful and amazing ways.
I find that the more I give myself over to the glorification of God in
my life, the more I'm aware of the miracles that are being lined up for
me on a daily basis.

I was a little apprehensive to join in this discussion, as my nickname is Angel - here in the UK nurses were affectionately dubbed angels and as my uniform was blue, I became Blue Angel on the CB radio, working with search and rescue teams and marshalling at marathons and so on. I do not call myself an angel, and have far too many human failings to attempt that sort of misrepresentation.
But yes, I truly believe angels exist and walk amongst us in every day life, I met many people during the course of my work as a nurse who were almost saintly in my eyes - surgeons, other nurses and even patients who devoted their lives to helping other people at the expense of themselves in one way and another. I have even witnessed what I believe was an angel myself when I was a 14 year old teenager, badly injured and in hospital, crying with pain and a beautiful elderly lady with amazing presence and piercing blue eyes came to me and took the pain away. She told me that she knew I could also sense pain in others and would be able to help others in the way she did - she was another patient in the ward and she passed over herself that night while I lay awake, and I watched as her spirit drifted away from the bed and through the open window. I wasn't afraid - I just knew she had done what she was sent to do for me before going back 'home'.
Since that day I have tried to do for others what she did for me - help to take away pain and suffering from those in need. She was my inspiration and guide and seemed to pass her strength and healing gift on to me. I am only human, with human emotions and temperament but I try my best to be a truly GOOD person - and all because of my own personal angel who inspired and encouraged me to use the gifts I was born with.
One example that I am sure everyone knows was a true angel on earth is Mother Teresa, a truly beautiful soul in a tiny body, but so filled with love for humanity that she gave up everything to serve them

I was driving home from a meeting this evening about 5, stuck in traffic on Colorado Blvd., and the car started to choke and splutter and die - I barely managed to coast, cursing, into a gas station, glad only that I would not be blocking traffic and would have a somewhat warm spot to wait for the tow truck. It wouldn't even turn over. Before I could make the call, I saw a woman walking out of the "quickie mart" building, and it looked like she slipped on some ice and fell into a Gas pump, so I got out to see if she was okay.
When I got there, it looked more like she had been overcome by sobs than that she had fallen; she was a young woman who looked really haggard with dark circles under her eyes. She dropped something as I helped her up, and I picked i t up to give it to her. It was a nickel.
At that moment, everything came into focus for me: the crying woman, the ancient Suburban crammed full of stuff with 3 kids in the back (1 in a car seat), and the gas pump reading $4.95.
I asked her if she was okay and if she needed help, and she just kept saying " don't want my kids to see me crying," so we stood on the other side of the pump from her car. She said she was driving to California and that things were very hard for her right now. So I asked, "And you were praying?" That made her back away from me a little, but I assured her I was not a crazy person and said, "He heard you, and He sent me."
I took out my card and swiped it through the card reader on the pump so she could fill up her car completely, and while it was fueling, walked to the next door McDonald's and bought 2 big bags of food, some gift certificates for more, and a big cup of coffee. She gave the food to the kids in the
car, who attacked i t like wolves, and we stood by the pump eating fries and talking a little.
She told me her name, and that she lived in Kansas CityHer boyfriend left 2 months ago and she had not been able to make ends meet. She knew she wouldn't have money to pay rent Jan 1, and finally in desperation had finally called her parents, with whom she had not spoken in about 5 years. They lived in California and said she could come live with them and try to get on her feet there.
So she packed up everything she owned in the car. She told the kids they were going to California for Christmas, but not that they were going to live t here.
I gave her my gloves, a little hug and said a quick prayer with her for safety on the road As I was walking over to my car, she said, "So, are you like an angel or something?"

Regarding human angels I believe they exist and what makes one an angel is the role they play for another. I’ve been called an angel. I used to take it as a flattering compliment from someone who’s trying to win my graces. Now I take it as it is. Of course, I’ve met human angels too.

I feel people see Angels in the forms they believe them to be. The classsic appearneces are the product of the Byzzantine artists, people and luminous beings with wings, quite beautiful.
I agree that Angels have been the subject of many New Age scams and workshops related to channeling of them, but it is my personal opion the New Age has gotten a tad off track with so much of it being about prophit.
I see them from a a scientific wonder too though, millions of light particles coming into form of Angels drawn by Human desire for their assistance.We tend to see microlife as ' pieces ' of itnelligent life rather than having complete intelligence unto themselves as well as the ability to feel.

Since angels are energy beings, they can take the form they choose. The Bible warns that even Satan can appear as an angel of light. You must use your spirit and knowledge to discern the intentions of the energy being. It is a great blessing when you are assisted by an angel of God. Don't be deceived by the impostors.
Most people I know believe in angels. Even some of the ones who are a bit uncertain in their belief in God still believe in angels. Why is this? Maybe it is because it feels right to believe in a force of goodness higher than ourselves. God has far too often been mistakenly shown as a punisher of us. Angels, however, are almost always shown delivering God's messages of love and joy, helping us in our times of need, and aiding us in our desire to do good. We so often fall short of that desire that it is comforting to know that there are forces stronger than us willing to help us in our efforts.
I myself believe deeply in angels. I believe that God is a god of love and that God wishes for us to be full of love, joy, peace, and happiness. I believe that God sends his angels to help us constantly whenever we need them whether we believe in them or not. We are all put here to love each other, to help each other, and to do good for each other. Sometimes, though, we need some help. Sometimes are own efforts fall short of what we need. That is when angels appear. Most of the time we don't even see them or realize their presense, but I know that they are there helping us, protecting us, and loving us.
There are other angels in this world too. These are angels that we can see everyday. They are what I call angels in disguise. They are the people around us whose love, joy, goodness, and light brighten our lives. They are the people whose very presense makes our lives better, more enjoyable, and happier than we could ever hope. They are the people who live in the Kingdom of God even while they are here on earth. Yes, I do believe in angels. I believe angels are all around us. I believe some of them fly down from heaven and some of them are people you know.

Truly I could not exist without them.. in fact they have literally saved me from death a few times and I owe my life to them. All the good I do in life is because of their existence.. If they were not with me I wouldn't last very long! lol

my husband and I came across an elegant, humbly but cleanly dressed, VERY hungry-looking man on the street, he was red-headed, slightly grizzled, seemingly part-black, part-white, slim and leaning on a cane. he wore dark shades.
we gave him a couple muffins, he seemed pretty blown away by the gesture. and he thanked us in a tender, melodious voice and asked us what HE could do for US! we replied, 'nothing, we just want your love, your blessing.'
he said, 'oh, you definitely have my blessing!' and went on to say, "my daddy always taught me to respect everyone you meet as yourself, because they ARE your self."
my husband: "that's deep."
the man: "that's DEEPER than deep."
(at this point my hair is standing up and I know this is no ordinary character.)
he told us a bit about his life, was a Vietnam war vet who'd lost 2 brothers in the war and his mother had died of a heart attack from the shock of her 2 sons' deaths....
as we were about to leave him (so he could eat his muffins), I asked him his named.
he replied: "my friends call me Red....."
and then he ripped off the sunglasses, revealing, and I'm not exaggerating, the MOST piercing, intense blue eyes I've ever seen on another human being -- completely off this world, like sapphires with sunlight behind them --
and continued in an other-worldly, deep, resonant voice that still rings in my head when I think about him:

Yes indeed. There are unlimited choirs of angels. Listen carefully and you may hear the music and the rustling of a feather or two. We are all very blessed. I don't know about you but I need all the help I can get.

My life has been filled with many angels that came in various forms & venues. It was`nt until the age of 35 that came the awareness of how many angels are & have been in my life. Sometimes they just pass by on the street or in a store. There is a way about them that is subtle yet obvious. I`ve learned to recognize them. It has been interesting to say the least. They are everywhere. "Angels are gathering".
There have also been times when false angels appeared & sometimes they still do so. The false angels are very much like real angels. But behave in a way that shows their deceipt. False angels seduce your mind & harbor an agenda. Real angels have nothing to hide & if you look them in the eye they will not break eye contact.

I do agree with you that the angels have become a kind of New Age trend in workshop offerings, but this doesn't mean they're not real. whether or not the people offering these workshops actually see or communicate with the angels is a real question mark in my mind.
you asked if angels are another species -- in a way, yes, they're another category of soul in this creation. my understanding is that they're created from the souls of divine souls, like a Jesus, Krishna, etc.
I do strongly disagree with you, though, when you reduce the angels to mythology, or that this myth was created by the 'early church.'
you can find angels discussed in spiritual texts that are thousands of years old, way before Jesus lived on the planet and way before his church was ever created in this world.
every major spiritual tradition that I can think of includes some discussion of and acknowledgement of the existence of supernatural souls called angels. the mystical traditions in particular, the esoteric Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism and the Vedic tradition from India all talk in depth about angels and their role in this creation.
it's really important, to my understanding, that people get a real knowledge of what the souls are, what the angels are, what the divine souls are, and like that, on this planet. if they really understood, I think we'd see far fewer workshops dedicated to nice-nice stories about someone's fantasy about what angels are, and much more about the reality of the angels.
someone asked my teacher in India about how many people in the world today really communicate with the angels -- his reply was "about 2%." someone then asked -- "is that 2% of the general population, or is that 2% of the spiritual people?"
I imagine you can guess the response. there's a terribly small margin of human beings alive today who have such a relationship with angels that they see and communicate with them regularly.

The mythology of angels is well entrenched and become one of the latest buzz words to formulate a workshop around and make money. There are an heirarchy of angels in the literature to see they all have something to do - a job. There are purposes and interests of the angels.
In the end, it is mythology. We created angels to be messengers of God to deliver His/Her/It message of love to the world when God was so supreme we felt we could not reach it. Angels are the result of the myths created in the early church.
To follow the theories, there are spirit helpers to bring God's love and message. They have lived a life on earth, so they know our struggles. There is a place for their input in our lives as we struggle and grow.

I've had a hard time connecting w/ angels these past few years despite the quest I've been on has generated deep spiritual connections w/ other beings. I had an energy healing recently that unblocked or cleared some energy ~ a rebirth of sorts happened & because of that my connection has been renewed & I can once again feel them around me. I've always believed in them but due to childhood experience that left me jaded, to say the least, I had cut myself off from awarness of their prescence. Since this healing several things have changed automatically. The first thing that I didn't even intened, happened on it's own & that was my cravings for unhealthy food has dramatically changed. The other is an automatic desire to live a more natural lifestyle, more intune w/ what is healthy for me on levels. This change was the difference between day & night in automatic response to the healing I went through. Before the healing I had a hard time letting go of certian things, and after it was as if I couldn't even imagine living, eating a certian way or thing again. Also, my faith is deeper & my ability to transcend fear when it arises is much easier. Being that the angels & ascended masters were invoked for the healing I went through & the changes that have happened on all levels, I now know personally that they do exist & am very grateful for thier presence in mine & my daughters lives.
since we're people, we like to think of our angels as humanoid characters, but they can literally come in any form imaginable. sometimes a dog or other natural animal suddenly starts acting in a funny way -- like giving you some kind of message -- definitely an angel is there.
you can also tell when the angels are present -- sometimes when you're meditating or praying, enjoying a beautiful scene in nature or listening to a beautiful piece of music, one that really opens your heart -- suddenly you smell a strong fragrance, like flowers. it's really strong, like someone broke a bottle of perfume in the room -- but it's not coming from anywhere you can figure out!
it means an angel is walking there. they're attracted to your pure open heart, and to the heat that is generated by sadhana (spiritual meditation work).
really great saints like Jesus or Krishna know how to split their souls into gazillions of angels -- agents of the same consciousness of that divine soul -- which explains why, when anyone prays heartfully to a divine character like Jesus, even though MILLIONS of people throughout the planet are simultaneously praying for stuff, too, the relief comes, the prayer is answering, the healing flows.
the response to the prayers comes through the angels, who are dispatched, one might say, by the divine soul to take care of the people who are asking for help.
it's a deep subject, but these are a few of the pieces of the puzzle as I understand it.

Angels are spiritual beings who were created by God who help carry out his work on earth. They bring God's messages to people, protect people, offer encouragement, give guidance, carry out punishment, patrol the earth, and fight the forces of evil.
We can't always see them, but they are always there. I wouldn't be able to say whether or not I've met one face to face, as angels can take the form of a regular human being or even an animal. But in the words of Alabama..(haha)...

Hello Subhadra dear, nice topic... I do believe in angels, to me they are spiritual entities in the service of God, they are in charge of watching us and helping us all by God's command... Angels earnestly seek to reach us, guide us and interact with us although as far as i know it may not be easy to contact them, we need to summon them when we are at peace, still our mind...it may take some time before we can really contact them, its just a matter of patience and perseverance, we need to learn how to communicate with these elusive but ever-present beings
I believe i told you, I've been reading books about angels and how to summon them, i did practice a few excercises on summoning angels little time ago, one night i was not sleepy, i went to bed though, i closed my eyes and had a vision, i saw a bright light surrounding this figure i believe it was an angel, it was beautiful!!!, unfortunately this vision did not last long enough but i was so excited
