My Mom, although she is recovering nicely from her triple-bypass surgery (I had mentioned that online, didn't I ? ), being nearly deaf, and approaching her mid 70's, is going to need assistance in making phone calls, paying bills, etc. I never wanted to have to ask for power of attorney, but it has become my obligation now (I don't like having "power" of anything over anyone); just when my wife has also faltered and can no longer competently do our finances (I have to take that over too). As you can see, my time is going to be strained even further then it has been.
It's good to be back! I couldn't login for a week due to Care 2 glitch!
