Do NOT send GET WELL cards! September 04, 2005 7:17 AM

Hugs and Hope is VERY adament that we not send GET WELL cards.  Get well cards, saying sorry you're sick or hope that you will feel better soon is INAPPROPRIATE although you may mean well. Please send HAPPY, CHEERY cards as most of these children are TERMINALLY ill.  [ send green star]

Hey Roxane and everyone else,

I wanted to send a longer letter to a girl who's notes say she likes golden retriever's because I have one and thought she might like to see some of my funny golden pics, but what kind of stuff should I include the letter. I feel weird just saying "hi, I thought you might like these pictures of my dog"...I could use some suggestions! I know it all needs to be happy, but I'm not sure if I should talk about myself or what!

Danielle, Talking about yourself , your pets, your family is FINE!  I start most of my cards off with Hi, I thought you might enjoy this....

Here is the link to Hugs and Hopes guidelines for further info:

I'd read the guidlines but then when I started to write I was a little unsure. I'll try it out and see what happens  [ send green star]
