The goal I have for this group is to make it easy for you to participate in this program.  Below is a list of all Hugs and Hope children who have email addresses that you can send egreetings to.  The list contains the child's name, date of birth, and email address.

I am disallowing replies to this post so that I can easily revise this list as it changes.  If you receive a delivery failure for any email address listed, please start a separate post to let us know.

A few quick guidelines:

1.  Please do not send get well cards as most of these children are terminally ill.

2.  Please go to this link BEFORE you send an egreeting to a child to make sure the child's status has not turned to red which means the child has passed away:  http://www.hugsandhope.org/mailstats.asp.  While at this link, also click the second box over from the child's name and click Update Stats at the top of the page.  This lets Hugs and Hope know how many emails the child has received from its members each month.

3.  Do not schedule egreetings to be delivered more than three days in advance as the child may pass away and you may not remember to cancel the greeting.  It is very upsetting for parents to receive these after their child has passed.

4.  Please try to put the child's name in the subject line of the egreeting as this will alert parents that this is not spam.

5.  Please indicate that you are a Hugs and Hope member so parents know where your good wishes are coming from.

6.  Although you may get an occasional reply, don't EXPECT one.
