I have been a missing host for some time due to having returned to graduate school. In fact, I own this group, so big kudos to everyone who has continued to keep it going! Thank you!
Wish I was in NOLA! So, I'll dig out my beads and start wearing them to class. Thanks for the reminder.

with Mardi Gras, I don't really remember my very first one, but I do remember the beautiful glass beads that we enjoyed picking up after the parades passed and stringing the broken ones up ourselves. We had as much fun doing that as we did catching them!! ...only wish I had kept some! Had I known they were going to stop making them I would have...now they're all plastic...
