Example thread: I've got an idea - plant a tree. October 17, 2005 2:52 PM

Personally, I plant a tree once a year, whether it is in a forest in Arbor day, at home in my garden or through a speciel fund. Planting a tree on a yearly basis guarantees that by the time you're 80, you've planted a small forest. What do you think about it?  [ send green star]

Erez, I think it is a wonderful idea! I just joined the group and it's a shame we don't have more active members. I'll do my best to post here! Thanks for creating this group! Take care, Lissette  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

We helped a local community park some years ago by planting trees, and now they've grown. It did feel good seeing lots of people contributing too the richness of the park for future generations. I'm also a member of natitional Arbour.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

This is a great idea and something I got interested in when I joined the Arbor Day Foundation. We planted a hawthorne tree in our yard last year, it's about all the trees our backyard can take now, but I'm thinking of donating some tree saplings to a neighborhood park some time this year.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
