Happy Birthday Jytte!

Thank you dear Mick, how very sweet of you to send me your lovely greeting. Thank you also to Brenda and Penny.

As you know Mick, I am back home on a visit to Denmark, after 12 long years not having been in my country. It is wonderful to be back home, visiting some family members and some friends. The weather is cool, but no problem, I have received warm clothing from caring friends, so that I can go out and enjoy my beautiful small country and its nature.

I am visiting some old friends this weekend and we celebrated my birthday yesterday. We had a lovely day, up to late, laughing, talking, and laughing some more mainly about old memories. And we eat my favorite: chocolate cake with tons of whipped cream. I loved that. And I even gratefully received some birthday presents - also from their cat It was a wonderful day.

Today I am going to visit my niece and two nephews whom I fundamentally do not know. I am looking very much forward to be with them.

Having been in Africa for so many years means that the reconnection to my Danish roots is extremely enjoyable and important for my well-being, so I am happy to be here.

I will get on with my many activities and wish you all the very best. Thank you again for your caring greeting.

Much care
