Some Pie & Coffee May 20, 2006 10:16 AM

I ran across a site that mentions something called the Catholic Worker movement. I don't know if there's one in the West Palm Beach area but this would provide another kind of shelter to the homeless. The site is http://www.pieandcoffee.org/ Check it out! I just visited the site. It mentioned the zoning challenge the Opus Dei house (not a place for the homeless) in South Bend, Indiana is having. The Catholic Worker house there recently moved because of zoning problems-so this may interest some. There are links to the Catholic Worker which you may click on. I have also found a couple Catholic Worker sites on the web. http://www.catholicworker.org/ and http://www.catholicworker.com/ The catholicworker.org site doesn't seem to be working right now on this computer but the .com has lots of links. paula  [ send green star]
