Hi Melissa,
Haven't seen (noticed) you at SF for a while. Following RonM's (Ron Magnuson) pipe give-away in early May (I was the lucky recipient of a free Dunhill and two other pipes) I've been adding more tobacco to my cellar, mostly Virginias. Do you, like most pipesters, 'stock up'?
By the way, though I don't 'look a gift pipe in the chamber', I have yet to to discover the wonderful qualities that seem to justify the outrageous prices of Dunhills, a machine-made pipe. Mind you it's an excellent pipe, but no better than my Stanwells, Savinellis, Chacoms, Petersons, or other. I guess it's all a matter of branding. What do you think?
Wishing you a great weekend, and happy smoking,

Tonight I have a two hour drive to get to a friends to visit. It'll be a perfect time for some Dunhill 965 or McC Frog Morton ... there's an old friend of a battered billiard that is calling my name.
Yes, nothing is ever going to compete with my pipes when it comes to a good smoking experience. I am really enjoying all the flavor available in my new cobs. Still, I have heard so many good things about cigars I figured I might as well give some a try.
Just like snuff. Indeed, today we have this ongoing blizzard and there is no way to use a venting fan with all this howling wind. So, this afternoon I am enjoying a few pinches of Gawith Apricot Snuff. For all the different ones I’ve tried (merely 6 out of the hundreds available) this Apricot is my favorite!
Well, in my recent venture into the world of cigars I purchased some regulars and some flavored.
Trying one of the little flavored this afternoon-- a Cojimar Sambuca.
Though not a bad smoke, I would get this again except for one thing--the tips are sugared!
WAY, way too sweet for me. Would very much prefer it without that addition, because otherwise it is nice, mild and rather cheering. Alas that damn sugar! Needs a darn strong cup of tea to rid my mouth of it.
Taking a break with some Tobacco Galleria Almondine this afternoon.
Second time I've tried this and this time the flavor of the almond liquor is coming through just fine. Needed a larger bowl pipe as I suspected. Full bent Trypis BTW.
Some more Cc 2003 in My Moretti Magnum and for a second pipe some Knox Crocket Cherry Cordial in my Wilke Beaded Bent. Both great smokes!

This afternoon I am smoking more Cc 2003 in my new Moretti Magnum pipe.
This McClelland's is so good I may just have to finish the tin over this winter and not bother jarring and saving any till next holiday. Considering I have 3 extra tins I'm certainly not worried about going without.
