I woke up next to my wonderful husband - smile #1

I live next to a beach and have a family of ducks visit me every day to be fed - smile #2

My landlady's dogs gave me hugs and kisses before I left for work - smile #3

Saw 2 Kiskadee birds bickering over some nesting material - smile #4

Too many to mention and it's  only 9:20am - it's a good day!

I have the care of my 84 year old Mom, and I am feeling quite frustrated of late! I have two sisters in town who don't help me with our Mom. I live with her in her home and I guess they see me as the one to do everything! I work full time and I have one semester left to finish my degree. I know she is my Mom and that is what family are supposed to do and need to do...help. I have a sisiter who works 3-miles away from our Mom's home and she does not even drop by to see if she can do anything to help. When I have diplomatically brought this to her attention her reply is as follows," I don't know when you need my help! You can call me!" Well, it is hard to call her when she does not move her portable phone from room to room and her husband does not answer it at all!!! Egad I think I am angryoops! sorry...lol

Okay, any suggestions?

Hi Nancy

how about delegating some job to your sisters that they must do every week such as taking your Mum out once a week to give you some "me-time", I don't think that's too much to ask.

If they do then spend that time on you.

I think you're doing a wonderful thing. I live 4,000km away from my Mum so my sister does a lot for which I am very grateful - and I make sure I tell her that too.

THANKS FOR THE INVITE.MY WORK IS GETTING THE BETTER OF ME. I HAVE TO WALK EIGHT MILES TO AND FROM.I HAVE A MANENGER WHO HAS BEEN GETTING TO ME.WE WERE FRIENDS,HAVING BEEN TOGETHER IN THE COMPANY TOGETHER FOR FIVE YEARS.AFTER WE GOT A NEW MANANGER IN,SHE TOLD ME THAT HE WANTS ME GONE.I DO NOT KNOW WHY.I AM AT WORK EVERY DAY.I GET THERE AN HOUR EARLY.WORK ON DAYS OFF,GO IN WHEN THEY CANNOT FIND ANYONE,HAVE STAYED LATE. I HAVE BEEN PASSED OVER FOR RAISES AND PROMOTIONS.SO I LEFT HIS NIGHT SHIFT,AND WENT TO DAYS WHERE I WORK BUT TWO HOURS WITH HIM. HE TREATS ME WELL SOME TIMES,AND OTHERS,HE LOOKS LIKE HE WOULD SHOOT ME IN A HEARTBEAT.EVERY TIME I ASK HIM,HE SAYS WE ARE COOL,NOT TO WORRY.  [report anonymous abuse]  [ accepted]
