DANCE OF THE STARS

You and me we're stars that dance
that light the sky each cosmic night
as sparkling diamonds twinkling bright
we skip and jump in joyful prance

As stars upon the silver screen
we live our stories night and day
as lively oscars on display
open books and fully seen

Time to dance in merriment
in full release of joyous play
no matter whether night or day
as cosmic stars we're heaven sent

So dance the light and love of life
into the stillness of the night
where all is dark, yet perfect light
and no more living daily strife

How perfect is this madrigal
a song of sweetness pure and whole
of love so perfect suits the soul
to move 'yond all that's tragical

So now we dance as souls of light
in union as the wind doth blow
and like the river gently flow
as stars of grace we glow at night
