THE SPIRITUAL PATH - Discussion May 19, 2007 10:09 PM

The Spiritual Path

One can never be open to flourish spiritually as long as one is closed to everything save one's own beliefs and truth.

And so one will not experience the Presence of the Light within as long as one does not accept the possibility that one is One with All!

Spirituality is not religion, though it can bring expansion to a religious life.

Spirituality is not philosophy, though it can enlighten the inquiring mind.

Spirituality is not science, though it can expand the discovery of truth.

Spirituality is, in fact, applicable to all fields of knowledge and to every aspect of human living.

What is Spirituality?

Spirituality is the dynamic impulse that motivates all of us — from the primitive human being to the most civilized citizen of the world — to reach out ceaselessly for greater levels of understanding, awareness and betterment.

What is the Spiritual Path?

The Spiritual Path is that thread of Purpose which passes through the totality of the human experience generating expansion of awareness at every step.

From the so-called primitive human being to the civilized individual, we all are treading the Path. We all are seeking TRUTH in the way that each can best grasp it, at each moment, in whatever form it takes.

Our Being : A Symbol of the Path

Our total Being is like a pyramid. The sides of this pyramid represent the physical, feeling, mental and spiritual aspects of our Being. The apex corresponds to our Self. And the base corresponds to everything we express in the daily life.

We enter the final road of the SPIRITUAL PATH when we use the four facets of our Being with balance and harmony.

My Spiritual Path May 21, 2007 4:32 AM

My spiritual Path has been unusual, kind of like a marriage.  At first it was wonderful beyond belief, and my happiness knew now bounds.  Then came the disagreements "things aren't supposed to be this way, are they God?"  Then came the betral (delusion)!

Further work disclosed there were lies in my space.  These had to be cleared up.  This was most difficult, and I believe it is what is referred to as "the dark night of the soul."

That's when I'd had it.  "I want a divorce!"

Then came the answer.  "No Divorce!  You've signed up for the whole ride, through sickenss and in health, through..."   Oh, for heaven's sake!

Then came the resistance.  "I have a headache tonight, God.  Can't commune."

But God is irresistable.  There is no way to leave this Creator, always one with His/Her Creation.

Then there was grace.  I'd been a terrible scathing wrathful difficult person one day, and that night was shown grace.  How can you resist a God like that?  Hm.  What a lover.

PEACE...Yanaar Lee

jennie & yanaar, ty...so very true.

have traveled this path FOREVER.  everytime i somehow in this incarnation slip "into this world," sure enough, i am thrust out, back into "being of it."  back on path, no matter how far i had strayed...but then i never quite see it that way. i see my path all as divine discovery.  although i have been lead SPECIFICALLY many times, with such obvious divine intervention, it's almost silly.  & like an insolent child how i would resist...ahhhhh.  sigh.

as a child, and now again, how easy it was to be with ONE, to bask in the love and light of ALL.  how many times does anyone have to polarize back and forth to realize how perfect this love, this light is?  aaahhh, the journey.

bb, ani
