This is a wonderful service run completely by volunteers. They rely on donations and as they are all across Canada, 24 hours a day, every day, it is very expensive.  Anyone who has the time to volunteer or to donate money is helping with a wonderful service.

Another way to help would be to get posters from them and put them up in all the places where a child could possibly see them, I have seen them many places before but as time goes on they often get covered up or taken down.  Even if just one child saw a poster and made the call, it would be worth the effort!!! 

 Some places to post them....grocery stores, post office, Doctor's offices...any other places you can think of??

Confidential support for ANYONE adults or children who needs to talk if they're in despair or feeling suicidal.  Unlike some other agencies we're completely confidential (some will contact Social Services if a child is 'at risk' whereas you don't even have to give your name if you contact Samaritans).  We are there 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide a listening service via the telephone, drop-in to our branches, by mail, and by email.  The email service can be accessed from anywhere in the world.  Have a look at the website for more info or message me.
