Looking for heavier pieces August 19, 2004 11:42 PM

Hello all! I'm looking for crosses around 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inches long and three stand connectors in a y shape, made heavily enough that they won't "give" when being handled. (and that don't cost an arm and a leg each!) I've been making Anglican rosaries, and I'd like to make them strong enough that they can be used regularly for years. Any ideas? Of course, I'd also like them to be pretty, too (I know, picky, picky!) :)  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

Have you looked at Fire Mountain Gems? They have a tremendous catalog, it's over 900 pages! Their website is pretty good too, I've ordered from there many times. $50 minimum last time I checked. Jill  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

I'll check it out. The name sounds familiar, but I'm not sure why. Brandee, lets see what we can do. :)  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

Hi :) Their name might be familiar because they advertise heavily, like every B&B and Beadwork mag back cover has their ads. I've ordered many times (not too many tho lol) and never had a problem, I usually have a running list of stuff I need and make one big order to save on shipping. Jill p.s. any bead crocheters here?  [ send green star]  [ accepted] August 22, 2004 9:35 AM

Thanks for letting us know about this site, it's so easy to navigate and check all their stuff out and it all looks great. Theirs "chimes" section alone is impressive. Prices are super too. Thanks again!  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
