These include hate crimes legislation, employment protection, immigration rights for gays and lesbian partners, overturning the ban on gays in the military and continuing battle against constitutional bans on same-sex marriage in states and Congress. the whole article here: http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/c/a/2005/01/13/MNG1OAPG4D1.DTL  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

thank you January 14, 2005 9:34 PM

for letting me know this...I have wondered what was going on in the aftermath ...I am so tired of the leadership that is trying to push all these "high moral standards" but do not follow them themselves....maybe mr bush should go back to religion classes on weds nights to relearn what morals and values are like I did as a kid and most of the kids in my home town did...even those who werent catholic got some religion class on weds...well thats just a pipe dream considering how he puts his head in the sand on so many issues none the less...thank you  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
