Love and big hugs.
Barb, Baby and Beenie
Hi Cheryl i remember reading my horoscope avidly when i was young it was the first thing i would go for in any magazine or newspaper i was never able to read them myself though .as you said sometimesthey seemed spookily true ,next year Tom will be 1 and Luke will be 30 what star sign are you Cheryl ?
WOW, Mary... that is incredible when you think of all the other days little Tom could/would/should have been born!! He chose that day for a special reason. An astrologist would love to do his chart, and your son's as well to compare. In my 20s I was really into astrology and spent a few years studying it, always with 'testing' it and a decent amount of skepitism on my mind. I did charts for many friends and family and was often stunned when something I didn't know about their lives showed up in their charts. It was spooky at times. In those days we did it the hard way - by hand - with complicated books and measurements - and now it's done on computers. It also takes quite a long time before one learns to read them properly.
All I can say at this point is that there is a special meaning to this double birthday! MARCH 21 will have double everything happening. lol
Hi Cheryl Tom decided to come into the world on march 21st which is also his dads birthday how about that ?
Hi Mary - I read somewhere (and "heard" somewhere else) that a soul knows when it wants to come into this world - it chooses the time. Same goes for when a soul wants to leave this world and go back "home". So it just happens that Tom had a reason to be born on the day he was!
What is the actual date of his birth? You're right... it's hard to imagine life without them once they're here; it's as if we always had them. "They" say that's because we already know that soul. I find this "soul-searching" so interesting.
(Change the pink to blue and remove the pink ribbon) lol
How is your wrist doing?
hello Cheryl its so funny Tom should not even be born yet and now its like he was always here his due date was ist of may but nobody told him he is 5lbs now how are things in your part of the world sweet sis ?
Awwww.... he looks so tiny, Mary. Yes, those other two boys of yours will probably get the message every time they look at wee Tom.I think the 'hankering' gets to most men as well as women.eventually lol
Luke looks so gentle and daddy-like with his son. I can almost feel it right through the pics. And there's SOPHIE! I am so happy to see her and hear she's doing okay. Such a sweetheart. Thanks for letting me know.
Enjoy each day, sis, and lets hope physio hurries up and gets that wrist back into shape.

You're a beautiful Gran, Mary! Looks like you're getting that "baby hold" in good order, although I see your son closeby just in case. lol
To think this time last year we were both looking at Lynn's little Trent and wanting one ourselves. I am so happy for you. I will enjoy little Tom and little Trent until I get one too. I'm putting in my order to God! But first... my son has to find a really nice lady! But that will happen when it's meant to happen.
Little boys and dogs just go together, eh? This pic reminds me to ask you how Sophie is doing, Mary. She keeps popping into my mind.

Yes, I bet wee Tom is stealing a lot of hearts! There is nothing like the feel of little babe, especially when they look up into your eyes and make little sounds. I have this longing in me.... I think I may have to go to a mall or something and ask to hold someone's baby. Then again, the mom might scream and call for the police because these days there are some crazy people!
Soooooo..... when you and Lynn too get chances to post pics, you know I'm here waiting to imagine myself holding and playing with them!
Hey, now here's a great idea!

It seems like yesterday when you told us he was on his way, Mary! What a happy happy happy event! I hope you are able to hold him with all the bruises and bumps you have from your fall!
Welcome Tommy boy! Sounds like he's healthy and strong even though he's a preemie and will probably grow up to be 6 feet 6 inches tall! lol
Here's the spot where you can post pics and let us know how he is doing.... please!
Mary, you ARE already a new granny! That wee little grandbaby is growing more every day trying to get into your arms! I know you are going to be a very doting granny too. It's going to be a very exciting time, one of the best we can ever have in our lives!
i will only have to wait and see gosh i am so excited i'm knitting like a real granny lol
Hi Mary... I think whatever you wish to be named is the right name! But be prepared for what the baby comes up with! lol
For instance, my cousin's first grandchild called her "Gammy" and her husband was called "Bumpa" - as baby couldn't pronounce "Grandma" and "Grandpa". Well, five (or is it six?) grandchildren later, they are still being called that by all the grandchildren, even the eldest who is now age 19. Those first words are so endearing it's hard to let them go! lol
Lynn keeps us up-to-date with Trent's pics and now we'll have you pretty soon to do the same with "your" new baby! Yippee!
hi Cheryl ,how are you today?Lynn i hope you are feeling better this week .Cheryl i think i like granny best i hope my grandchild will like that name if not i'l change it i thought granny mary might be friendlier what do you think ?hugs
Thought it would be nice to continue this thread from Mary's birthday (Nov. 26) when we heard the BABY NEWS!
So, we are now on official GRANDMA MARY'S BABY WATCH!
MARY, do you like to be called GRANDMA, GRANNY..... OR ?
May is a beautiful time to be born (Spring)! I can hardly wait too! I often wonder what I would have done if I had had the choice to know what gender my baby was going to be way back when my Shawn was growing within me. I would have loved to have a picture of him in the womb, but then I would have been told that he was a "he". Interesting to ponder.
the begineng of may i will be waiting little hatching eagerly lol
Hey Barb, it's good you got here... party still going on as you can see because Mary got the biggest pressie... a grandbaby on the way!! WOW! This is sorta like NEST WATCH only we're waiting for a birth and not a hatch. LOL
Mary, I bet your son and girlfriend are "over the moon" but by the sounds of it they couldn't be happier than you are. This is going to be very exciting. When is the due date? YIPPEE!

Come back and tell us what you did on your birthday - and don't forget to do something nice for yourself like going horsebackriding or having a bubble bath - and/or getting rid of any problems in your life for at least one day!
LOVE YOU, SIS!
