Thank you ladies. Isn't this thread a little long?
Posting these links quickly before I go back to bed. This virus is really strange, feel like death warmed over, perk up then next day feel awful again. Stay healthy everyone. Yesterdays triple
This mornings triple
The internet's favourite felines have a new challenger to the title of cutest cat.
Snoopy, an exotic short-hair cat, is already a huge hit in his native China and this year has taken the rest of the world by storm.
He already has more than 275,000 followers on Weibo - China's version of Twitter - and a further 190,000 on Instagram.
Here's a funny video of a parrot caught singing "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor". Listen for him whispering the lyrics. Hilarious!

Cheryl, the pictures of the sleeping child and the puppy are the most adorable things I've seen in a long time. The bond between the two is miraculous and will last a lifetime. Thanks for posting them, sis.

Here's a beautiful video of what dogs can teach us. I posted this one on Facebook.
When humans bring a dog into their lives, they are most often looking for a companion; what they may not realize is that they are getting a teacher as well. Every single day dogs teach us important life lessons about love, overcoming adversity and healing! If you like today's video please share with family, friends and post it to your Facebook page. Mel will appreciate it!!
Things Dogs Teach Us
Oh my, I see I have neglected this thread. I shall be back tomorrow to catch up. Pictures are funny... it's always good to laugh and smile!

The Incredible Tanzanian Safari
Tanzania is one of the last truly wild places, and while it may seem wild to humans, it probably seems more like freedom to the many animals species that roam it. This video will take you through the wind swept savannas of this enchanting country of Eastern Africa.

Oh boy, what fun that was! Thanks Lynn for the talking animals. So funny!
And thanks Sue as well.... the wee pandas (and puppy) with adoptive mommas are so sweet. Total acceptance. Wrecked Xmas trees -- yikes! And their human parents didn't get mad at them by the sounds of it.
Stray cat takes in day old puppy, there is a lovely video lower down the page about a cat that nursed 2 baby red pandas.

This mornings triple, last of the year, the best of airs sometime in early Jan I think. Such a sweet adorable puppy in the 2nd segment, you'll fall in love with him easily.
This poor exhausted swan cannot hold it's head up after being rescued by some real heroes in Romania
Horses enjoying the snow
Mary, you sound very peppy! Thank you for posting that video. A Face Book friend put it through yesterday and I took some screenshots. You got here first! Thank you. I don't think I've ever seen a rescue where the dog was so docile and went with the rescuer so willingly. She is such a beautiful soul and I would love to have both her and the wee Chihuahua. I cried too. It was so good to see her playful and loved.
Sue, thanks for videos. I always get such a kick out of Jeff and the two ladies. I can't imagine seeing a tank going down the street, let alone one pulling a big semi! The animals -- cats and dogs -- can really keep ya laughing! Such crazy silly antics.
Ingrid, thanks for posting BLACKFISH for anyone who hasn't yet seen it. I saw it a few weeks ago and it sure educated me. I am thrilled to see that so many celebrities have CANCELLED their planned engagements to perform there because of the movie! Yay!! It's really brought more attention to this cruelty.
Not seen that Ingrid, will have to check it out on You Tube when I have more time. Here is a silly video that comes with a warning. Do not eat or drink while watching as choking could result! Sure I've posted it before, but it is well worth a second look as it makes you laugh until you cry the happy tears.
Lynn, good to see you back. Have you tried plugging in a USB keyboard on your laptop to see if it will work properly? If it does then you will not have the jumping around problem. My Yahoo computer group tells people to tape a piece of cardboard over the touchpad when they are not able to be turned off, most say that works too. So frustrating when computers do not work properly.
Cheryl, when I lived in the UK we were told that when a bird poops on you it was a lucky thing and you had been blessed. Never seemed that way to me though. Of course it is always funny when it happens to someone else! Those baby moose/meese reminded me of the walking tanks from Star Wars! Wonder if they were modelled on them as they seem to have the same centre of gravity.
Mary, thanks for the two videos/stories I cried many happy tears. Here is this mornings triple, the last part is absolutely hilarious.
Good morning Lynn lovely to see you sis i'm glad the laptop is alive again .Cheryl how are things in your neck of the woods ?Love the thieving dog and cat video .Sue i'm glad your feeling a bit better winter blues can really bring you down its so dark and gloomy ,the sun cheers everyone up i think .June i love the puppy and kitten video and Karis is like a little kid playing with the leaves .Good morning Ingrid how are you?Wendy that tiger is hungry for his breakfast .hello Barb Coralie Angeland anyone i'v missed this is a dog on santas sleigh http://www.care2.com/causes/dog-rides-away-in-santas-truck-a-feel-good-christmas-rescue.html
LYNN!!! It's so good to see you!! Whoopeeeee..... youse back! I'm so glad your computer is at least working it's way back into your life and of course, into ours again! Good to see you, sis!
That was strange because I was just looking at Sue's funny videos and when I came back, there you were! MAGIC!
Sue, great videos. Wow, those seagulls were scary! I was talking to a friend at the beach one day and PLOP... right on her forehead. I couldn't stop laughing for an hour, I'm sure. Her.... not so much laughter.
You're right about those little mooses... or is it meese.... they look so out of proportion, yet so perfect. I wonder if they fall over how hard it is to get up?
Hi everybody! Finally got my laptop back from incarceration. lol Still having a problem with the keyboard. They can't seen to find out why the letters go all over the place when I'm typing. I couldn't turn the touch pad off and they couldn't seem to find a way to do it, either. I paid a lot of money for this Dell laptop and it's a piece of doo-doo.
Thanks everyone, for all the great pictures and videos. I love you all and will try to catch up in here from my busy work schedule. I still make my tags to keep my mind reasonably sane. lol See you all soon! xoxoxo
Wendy, cats and can openers! My Topaz always insisted that whatever came in a can was her food, not mine, even when it was the strawberries in syrup that I used to be addicted to way, way back when we lived in the UK. She would gobble them down before I got a look in unless I ate them standing up. She would protest loudly enough for the neighbours to hear her cries. Then there was the double Devon clotted cream that would disappear in a flash too when I turned and rinsed off the lid and put it in the rubbish. Dogs on the other hand see all food as theirs and unless well trained will take all food they see.
Mary lovely video, I cried so many tears watching that little puppy become healthy again. What wonderful people to take such great care of the little broken angel.
Cheryl, those moose babies look almost impossible with their too long legs, as if nature had a hiccup when they evolved into the glorious creatures they are. I often wonder why they don't topple over as their centre of gravity looks to be all wrong. What a lovely video of the kittens and their Mama and Aunt, really relaxing for sure.
Thanks for posting all the pics and videos. I fell down the deep black hole of winter depression on Sunday and have fallen behind with everything since. Will write later about everything that has happened when I get a chance to catch up again. Here is Jeff's triple Wednesday video, only the last two are animal related but all are funny, the last one especially.
Thanks, Sue. Those videos are absolutely delightful. I love watching dogs in the snow... but that guy who runs up a hill and throws himself head-first in the snow..... ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. As long as he's having fun, I say! Jeff and the ladies got quite a kick. LOL
Thank you Sue and Cheryl.
I'm overloaded again so quickly posting a couple of links. Jeff finally has a new triple laugh this morning.
Something cute and silly from the weather network.
Silly doggies from You tube.
This video could have gone on the Meditation thread because it is so relaxing to watch. Really!! It sure relaxed me and made me smile a lot. Besides the Mom cat, another cat who looks like a small Snow Leopard comes on the scene and joins in. The certainly are happy and well taken care of cats and kittens.
Mom Cat talking to her Kittens. These kittens were born July 22, 2012. Soon Rocky, Rosy, Ruby, Raul and Rio will be celebrating their first birthday. This video is a chronicle of their first month of life. Mom cat Coco talks, feeds, cares and loves her kittens. Toffee is the older sister of the kittens. She helps her mom Coco. She became a second mother to these kittens.
Thankyou, Sue! The Snowleopard webcam is amazing. I had the feeling when she was close to the cam that she knew something was up but couldn't put her finger on it. Hee hee The other videos are really something.... the growls and different cat sounds are quite funny, but a few sound very close to the Tasmanian Devil... Yikes! So many varieties!
You have a good point there, Sue, and gave me an "Aha" moment about seeing and noticing things after one hasn't been able to enjoy them for awhile due to sickness especially. So.... we mustn't take anything for granted.
Wendy, those pictures are adorable! Definitely smile-makers. Thank you!
Mary, I was brought to tears with this video about Daisy. It made me feel how very precious just ONE life is and of course, the song "You Raise Me Up" always makes me emotional so they went well together. Thank you!
I don't know where these little twins are (obviously "in care" somewhere). I don't think I've ever really seen baby moose up close like this. Their legs are soooooooo long!
Thank you Sue, Mary, and Wendy.
http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=IFPnwpkGioc&feature=youtube_gdata_player this is a very uplifting video had to share
Cheryl, so glad you had a great laugh. I usually wind up with tears running down my face watching the really good videos. During the last few years I had been feeling really sick and exhausted due to the neighbours from Hell that when I was out it was a battle just getting there and back and no energy to notice anything except where I was stepping. It is a joy to be getting back to normal again, albeit slowly. Before then I always stopped and took in all the changes in the natural world. From the first buds on the trees in early Spring to the first red leaves of fall, first snowflake etc., we all need to do that to keep us grounded in the often supersonic speed of life we live in the 21st century. We lose ourselves a bit when we forget to notice the natural world around us.
Lucky you having a telescope, must be a wonderful way to pass time. It is so sad that comet ISON disintegrated before becoming the wonder it was hoped to be, was looking forward to seeing it as I have never seen a comet or shooting star. Every time there is a wonder in the heavens we have thick cloud cover here, although did see the last but one massive moon one night coming home on the bus, that was the biggest I've ever seen it.
Have been going through backlogged emails and came across this link to snow leopards, now I want a tail like that, would be wonderful to help keep balance in the often slippery winter walking. Take a look at this glorious creature and if you have time learn a little about them.
Staying with the big cats here is a slow mo video of some of our favourite kitties being themselves.
They talk too....
June, this is the right thread... don't be sorry! I deleted the other one you said to do. I hope I did that right.
Wendy, that is such a cute pic and snowcat to match... hee hee hee.... what a beautiful white cat! Is that one of yours?
Sue, those videos are priceless! I really did end up like this...---->
even had tears in my eyes. The cat/dog chasing is a scream! The other two are so funny as well. There are just endless antics. I love the people laughing because those women (like with the cats on treadmill) laugh the same way I do!
Sue, I am so impressed by the way you took that walk and stopped to look at the stars. Really, people don't do enough of that. It really is gorgeous up there at night. Near the end of fall my son and I would go out for a tea when it was dark and look at the stars. I have my Dad's telescope that we looked through when I was a little kid. Good for you!
Thanks for the fun, ladies. It sure feels good to laugh.
I cheated on Wednesday and waited until the blizzard was over and walked around the corners instead. It was freezing cold, but the wind had died down into a gentle breeze. On the way home I noticed something I had not seen in weeks, stars! So I just stood still and had a good look at them all. One was so bright and had the points radiating out from it. Was either the Space Station or Venus, not sure which one. Could see the constellations but do not know their names. With our streetlights only working for cars us pedestrians usually walk in the dark at night so the stars are easy to see when the clouds have gone.
Thanks for the videos ladies, cats certainly are in charge wherever they live. Love the white cat and it's snowcat, many people have sent it to me in PMs this morning! Here are some silly videos to make you smile. Funny cats

Hi Lynn.... so good to see you, sis! How's work going?
Hi Sue.... I hope you're able to get out okay and not slip and slide. It's really cold here too but no more snow. Yours and Lynn's videos are absolutely hilarious! It's always nice to know we can take a trip back on these threads for a good laugh again. Thanks so much for the good belly laughs!
Hi everyone! Hope you all are enjoying a few laughs here as a break from your busy Christmas schedules.
It is Wednesday and we have had a storm all night long, it is still snowing, very windy and freezing cold outside, and I have to go out today, yuck! Here is something silly for Wednesday, I'm trying to post something silly every day to clear out all the links in the bookmark folder for this group.
more silliness with boxes
I just had a few moments to see a few more.... so funny! Those emus or ostrichs chasing that ball.... I never knew they played like that. So funny!
Dog and Goose.... so sweet! A real awwwwwwww!
And the last "Animals can be jerks".... so funny. I had a good time here tonight. I'll be back tomorrow hopefully to get to the ones I've missed.
Lovely videos and stories ladies. Duncan certainly doesn't seem to slow down with just 2 legs! The goose and dog are obviously meant for each other and as we all know cats rule the households they reside in. Here are animals making some very funny sounds.

Feel Good Animal Story about Goose and Dog with a Happy Ending!!!Dog and Goose Both Hated Everyone Until They Found Each Other
Emu and ostrich dancing, what fun! Thanks for posting Lynn. Mama cat and ducklings are charming but the parrots and cats are scary to think about. Those sharp beaks can inflict a lot of damage, then the cats claws and teeth can too! Not a good mix I think. Tried to count the dalmation's puppies, but they all seem to blend in with each other, lovely pic Cheryl. Here is my contribution
Wow... so much to read and look at! I'm not finished yet.
That fox is amazing. The first time I saw a fox do this I thought he was playing. It is incredible how he does what he does to get food... and facing North, etc. The wonders of this world!
Pandas are adorable (even though they can be vicious at times).
I can see that little dog pulling the cat around.... ha ha ha ..... so cute! I think he wants the cat to get off and kitty is saying, "Nope, I like it here."
Lynn, congratulations on your new job! Wow.... that's going to keep you busy!
I'll be back to look at the rest of videos.
Doesn't this young mother look so proud? Either that, or confused as to what came out of her! What a beautiful handful.
Thank you June Very funny cats and birds! I know that you shouldn't ever let a bird that close to cats though because birds can die from a bite or scratch from a cat. But the videos are really funny!
Thank you Lynn for Emus and Ostriches! They are very inquitive and smart! And wow that cat is so good with the baby ducks. Amazing!
Hello Cheryl, June, Sue, Ingrid, Mary and anyone I missed.
Love and big hugs.

June what a lovely article. I'd always imagined foxes and dogs were relatives. Thanks for posting it.
The adorable and unlikely friendship between a fox and a dog that's being turned into a children's fairytale book
They are the real life fox and hound, their touching relationship proving that friendship can survive despite background and social pressure, or in the case of these two, natural instincts.
Guaranteed to make you smile.
Here is a lovely little video found on the weather network this afternoon. Children and animals at their absolute cutest! You will not be able to watch without smiling.
signed SUE THANKS FOR THE SUPER VIDEOS LADIES
Thank you ladies. Signed the petition.
Lynn, thanks a million for posting the fox hunting in the snow video, just love to watch them, they are amazing hunters and always make me smile watching them hunt for their breakfast in the snow. So many reasons to smile this morning, especially learning more bears have been rescued from the awful bear baiting trade. Here is a story about a very unusual thief caught red-handed. An article and 2 videos from this mornings news.
Sneaking in a petition too to help protect the Peruvian protected rainforest from yet another dreaded palm oil plantation. If my info comes up please replace with your own, name, address and country are all that is required.
The Best Black Friday deal EVER!
Don't you just love it when people have these wonderful ideas?
Cheryl love, thanks so much for opening new threads and turning threads for more convenience in viewing. I've been very busy with my new job as bookkeeper for Andi's Cakery so forgive me for not posting more often. Love you all, my sisters!

Dazzling Photos of Wild Life
An incredibly beautiful series of photos from the wild world of animals living their lives completely separate from the human world, living as they have for countless generations. These incredible nature photographers have given time and safety in exchange for a clear look at these beautiful creatures of the natural world. Repay their kindness by enjoying their work to the fullest.
Cheryl, there are a few sites that always have happy videos to post links to, here are 2 of them. Scroll down under the Leopard video to see the others. I'm always too pushed for time to search here these days.
I love the Yahoo Canada site for unusual, good and odd news, there are tons of silly videos there to post. Click on the tabs at the right hand side of the bar to get to the story headings.
My all time favourite is of course CTV.ca it is my homepage and there is usually something silly or interesting to post. Like this one. Only the 3rd segment is animal related though this morning it is an absolute hoot!
Can you imagine thinking it was cute when you taught your parrot to feed the dog - once - and then you couldn't stop it? You'd end up with one really fat dog.
The doggy in the snow reminds me so much of some of my past beloved pets! Some just loved the snow and kind of went bonkers in it. So funny to watch. A few of my Chihuahuas would gingerly walk down the porch stairs with their back feet in the air and continue walking only on their front feet. hee hee hee
I LOVE THAT BOY! I mean, just look at the expressions on his face. He is loving every second and absolutely living in the moment. He and the other fellow appeared on some talk show later and they had a dance-off. I really love the fun-loving nature of that kid. I bet he's popular at school right now.... over three million hits on YouTube.
Yikes... I wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere near that avalanche. Really scary! THANKS SO MUCH, SUE. I really enjoyed these.
This mornings triple video from Jeff, only 1 animal and 2 human today
No problem, June. I used to do that until someone told me. I took a snapshot of the nest - so cute! Obviously they had a webcam set up - how wonderful to watch each day. We are hardly into winter but the Spring sounds of those birds is absolutely healing! That one little guy didn't want to leave. Mom looked so surprised when she got back with a yummy thing and no one was there!
The Australia video was great to watch. I once lived on the populated side of Sydney Harbour Bridge (almost under the bridge) - not the trains side. I was in Aussieland for a year and turned 21 there. Wonderful, beautiful country. I met so many warm and friendly people. I'm glad I never came upon any of those big snakes.
Thank you June for that wonderful cruise down memory lane and that nest. I shall come back and listen to those birds whenever I get depressed.
TALK ABOUT LAUGHING! I DON'T THINK WE CAN GET ANY FUNNIER AND CUTER! Thanks so much for these Sue and June.
It's no wonder they say blood pressure goes down with a pet. How can anyone get depressed when having animals around you doing crazy nutty things? It feels soooooo good to laugh. I don't know where you guys find all these great things! I'm going to have to do some hunting around.
June love - I can't get those two videos to work. Would you bring them back but just put in the link? It's much easier on the thread as it doesn't fill up as fast. Also, my screen turns white and my computer freezes sometimes. THANK YOU!
Bringing over a few of the last posts from thread #5: (but if you haven't looked lately, drop back and see the rest of them)
Thanks for the links June. Seems this morning there are many reasons to smile. Here are 4 links to the most hilarious photos and gifs sent to me by Tamara. Cats having a bad day

A new thread for you to post your animal videos. Thread #5 got a bit too long. It's still open for you to enjoy, though, along with the previous threads.
