The ASPCA, at the request of the Garland County Sheriff's Office, is managing the evidence collection and sheltering of more than 100 dogs living in a substandard commercial breeding facility--commonly known as a puppy mill--in Hot Springs, Ark.
In one of the more interesting examples of turnabout we've seen in recent years, an animal rights group called "Dogs Deserve Better" from Tipton, Pa. bought the five-bedroom, Surry County Va. home once owned by Michael Vick for approximately $600,00.
Yes...Caught in a lie but let off far too easily...Well, anyway, yeah...I did read once on the ASPCA website that they're trying to develop mobile units for forensic investigations nationwide and promoting veterinary forensics in veterinary colleges, as well. I'm sure this could really make a huge improvement in the way animal cruelty investigations are conducted and would most definately make for stronger cases and (hopefully) convictions in court.
It does sound like this Denny guy has been caught in a lie. It serves him right.
That is cool that the HSUS has that kind of vehicle. You're right...they all should.
On a more positive note, it's pretty impressive to read that the HSUS came so well-prepared to aid in the investigation...State of the art mobile lab. I had heard of the ASPCA having a mobile veterinary forensics investigation unit...Wasn't aware that the HSUS had one, as well...but it stands to reason that they should. Well done.
See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil, eh...? He knew exactly what that $900 dog was being "sold" for, methinks, judging from all that dog fighting paraphenalia the authorities found in his house. Misdemeanor aiding and abetting...Now how did he manage to get off with that, I wonder, considering how well known he is in the dog fighting racket...? Somethin' don't smell right...

Latest I heard was that all the boys injured or killed were together and that there was vodka found in the car they had driven to the zoo . Also , it has now come out that one vistor claimed she saw a group of young men teasing the animals at the big cat grottos . The surviving boys aren't speaking though, of course , so it's all still speculation, unfortunately . If anyone has heard of any more concrete evidence , please share .
