Interesting post, thank you. I'm surprised about Facebook lovers, I think that its more of a young social outlet. Theres barely anyone who has something intellegent to say or do there. One thing for sure is that I can follow my kids and watch out for them and this is what governments are also doing with it.

Have ever put your name on a www.google.com .... do it and see what you find! I prefer care2 anyday.

I agree that most Facebook lovers are from the younger crowd.  I found my way there via my nephew and his wife. It is the only way I can keep up with them and find pictures of their wedding (2007) and trips to Bulgaria, her home country, and vacation in Costa Rica in Jan '09.  I suppose that emailing photos to me is beyond their scope.
Beyond them, I have some friends from Elementary School, High School, and College, who are on Facebook and are as old as ME, a very young 60!  [ send green star]

You are so very right and the other point is that its so very open with no substance I think, unlike care2. It does have a huge young crowd there. I have been watching how they navigate into the facebook, its always pictures that they look for and know whats going on and who they should approach.
