Hello everyone! I'm Laura, I'm a recent convert to the cause against factory farming. I always knew it was wrong but largely chose to ignore it until I read the new book EATING ANIMALS by Jonathan Safran Foer. I probably would never have read the book at all, but I work at his publishing company and had to in order to do my job....it's amazing. It really changed things for me and showed me how much work current activists are doing. Thank you!! I'm working with him on a petition here at thepetitionsite called TALK TURKEY. It's urging people to really think about their food this Thanksgiving, and to really consider if the life and death of what they might eat for dinner reflects the values they're celebrating this holiday season.
