Good morning all In browsing through past topics here and in various other sites (Pagan's mostly) I've noticed that many people post good books to read and articles that deal with being a Pagan Parent. So-I propose that this thread be solely devoted to that! Here's what I picked up:

Stephanie M. told us about Celebrating the Great Mother: A Handbook of Earth-Honoring Activities for Parents and Children by Cait Johnson and Maura D Shaw

My favorite children's book is "THE RAIN BABIES", but I can't read it without crying. (I'm sort of mushy I guess)

This is the site, I believe their is a book also, but we have the CD, "Circle Round And Sing"-'Songs for family celebrations in the Goddess traditions'.

My children and I just LOVE it. We play it at least once a day. It's fun and celebration for all ages.

I used to play a loop of "We All Come From the Goddess" from Robert Gass and Wings of Song on a tape player for my granddaughter to help her sleep at night.  She love it, it is soothing and the sounds of the ocea in the background made it perfect sleeping music.

I'd like to tell you about a magazine that I subscribe to.  It's called 'The Triple Spiral' and is described as being for 'earth-honouring pagan families'.  Here's the website link:

I have wirtten a book being published by capall bann in sommerset,UK called natures children - a pagan parents guide to celebrating the seasons with your family. It covers the main 8 festivals with activities and ideas to do with your kids, a bit about coming of age, birthdays and dealing with loss etc. Should be out soon, perhaps enquiries will make it sooner!!!!! anyway- hope if anyone here gets a copy they enjoy it. I loved writing it.

I also get a good magazine based here in the UK. Called the green parent, there is a resident pagan/wiccan who writes about the seasons and the festivals, all kinds of ideas and interesting things for you and your family. And theres an insert called green kids, with ideas, articles and games for the children. Find on www.thegreenparent.co.uk

its taken a while but im finally being reviewed in various magazines now. The next one I know of is to be in a magazine called Green Parent Magazine - next issue april/may.
