A Big Heart Saves the Day! Spiderman Spreads the Love

Months ago, a Thai firefighter dressed as Spiderman to rescue an 11 year-old autistic boy who - on his first day of school - climbed onto a third floor balcony and dangled his legs over the side. The boy refused to let anyone help him and no one wanted to shout at him in fear that he'd jump.

Firefighter, Somchai Yoosabia overheard a conversation between the boy's mother and his teacher, about how much he loved comics and superheroes. Somchai rushed back to the firestation and slipped into a fireman costume in hopes of saving the boy. After climbing up the ladder, Somchai told the boy that he was Spiderman and was here to save him. As you can see from the picture, Spiderman saved the day.
When asked why he had a Spiderman costume in the first place, Somchai explained that he kept a few costumes to liven up fire drills at schools.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
