We generally have snow fall starting in November. Winter should officially be here in November 21.  Snow slowly melts in March.  But we still get snowstorms in April. 

 So....as they say, '6 months of poor sledding & 6 monthgs of winter.'

It came back on last night, but I had phoned them twice, they said they were having lots of calls because it was affecting many people.They said they were seeing the same on the screen there as I had and were trying to get it fixed.Hope it doesn't do it again.I was really cheesed off for 3 days.

Kathryn, your weather is the same as ours (one state removed) so I agree its quite lovely.   Just wish we lived on a dead end street.

Hello all hope you are all having a good weekend.Wish I could say the same!Trouble with the server and I cant get any web pages.I have had to go into Internet explorer to get here.

It has been about 3 days now and they still havent managed to fix it.

Fed up with staring at a blank screen.

Nancy, what a cute graphix.  Yep, it's officially November now.  It's beginning to feel like Fall around here now.  Last night, I grabbed my favorite blanket, a cup of coffee and sat out on my front porch.  The temps were in the low 50's and absolutely gorgeous.  We had a full moon with loads of stars.  We live on a dead end street so we had no traffic to bother us.  It was quite relaxing.

Hey there dear friends.   Sorry I didn't make it by yesterday.  Ended up getting up late and then had to run to the job to make sure things were done for the city inspector.  Things went well.

Hello dear friends. How is everyone this beautiful day? Well, first off for me, we meet up with a customer today around 12:30 to pick up the first draw on our estimate.  We are so excited because we can now buy materials and then some groceries.  We are so blessed. We called some friends of ours yesterday because we had no food and they brought over just enough to feed us for dinner with a small snack.  I'm so grateful to have friends.  Anyway.... gotta get dressed. Hello everyone.  Nancy, thank you for your prayers & kind words.  Mongi, it's so awesome to see you. Vicky, I truly appreciate the graphix for me.  I'm just so frustrated right now. We did work for this pastor that asked us to wait til Monday to pay us the balance. We agreed and now he's not answering his phone. We don't have the gas money to go there and wait on him.  Why do people act like this to us? I'm so mad and it makes me not want to trust church members that much more.  I know it's only actions of one man, but it's happening more and more to us.  Okay, enough of my woes.  Since I'm home, I need to get some laundry done. Sorry to have to tell you that.  We got sick on top of it also with flu like symptoms.  It's been chilly here along with rain and we got caught out in it.  Now we're at home bundled up under our blankets trying to get better. Mongi, I agree....Care2 is definitely a good site despite it's shortcomings.    I know I get upset sometimes but usually after I've had the same problem for a long time.   But I realize Care2 is shorthanded with technicians and do the best they can.   I agree that groups that have been idle a while should allow new cohosts to renew them and keep them going.   Thank you for explaining your thoughts to us.

Care2  none.- and nevertheless seems to be the best...It´s impossible to surf the whole web to find out which networkplace is better or the best, but again yes, Care2 seems to be that kind of unbeatable " thing " despite all that caused members to go...We need to weigh up: Either a website (here Care2) who makes sure and sees to it that someone who signs up for membership gets the impression they are entering a private place invited to a party, someone who makes sure, their website is and remains a community to the advantage of everyone inclusive of ---watching--- too, sure, cause ---the latter--- is necessary should it be and remain a community...OR a website that takes the customer for granted, to put it this simple and short way...Anyways, some may realize and come back...

Care2 needs to make an effort and think of something...I for one would have those groups who would operate flat out 2 years ago and more as " I afore-mentioned " re-activated and operate again and encourage and supply anyone who wants to host a group with hints and not just  "  create a group, it´s  free and easy    " like it says on the " fessaade " (sorry about spelling ) --- above all never missing to underline and advise how important it is to be nice and fair to all members and outlay the habit of blowing the whistle on one for trifles...--- I don´t rule out that some people went simply  ´cause they didn´t have the skill to do this or that and were told I don´t know...Some even show one up to remind, " they are the host " , kinda stolen the show -figment of the imagination--- whilst a host is a host like when you´re at home and receive visitors...You don´t start to tell them how to behave, do you ? ...Now as far as am concerned, I can´t  recall, I was done hard by ever, I can turn the other cheek, or then go in some cases as suggests Care 2 by the way...There was a host who´s no longer on Care2 and am not saying that to support what am talking about, he said, some members go because of the host -some and by the way fortunately just a few, but...- , a host who has a kind of patronizing manner after all they are in charge , well as I said, instead of bearing in mind, they´re dealing with poeple who want to stop by for a minute or 2 for some fun...It takes to have a great sense of humour, it takes to possess the capability of handling people, pf having a good way at all and never underrate this job...So, it´s more than just create a group , it´s for free and easy. Would be fun, if they were given advices and hints by Care2 one they decide to create a group...Hints and advices only in connection with how to treat the customes that we never should take for granted...

One more word to the groups that would operate flat out night and day: night and day doubtless because of both the topics and the hosts I think, why doesn´t anyone want to take over and resume ?! There´s something I won´t understand, don´t the group owners whose groups are no longer in operation allow anyone to take over and continue ?! Cause most subjects who would keep the groups in motion are timeless and there always are new people to interact and participate...The topics are not exauste.

Here I am Vicky. giggles  It's been pretty crazy on this end.  Well, the contract fell through.  We're back to square 1 again.  Now, we're praying that we get a job tomorrow because our lights are scheduled to be turned off on Tuesday.  So, please pray that God will send us exactly what we need.   We did talk to another potential customer and she wants us to do her job. She's just out of town right now and won't be back until this Friday. So, we're truly praying for more work to come through. Our plumber friend has given us some work. Enough to keep groceries, gas & cigarettes. Yes, I know cigarettes are not a necessity.  But I'm a true bear without them. LOL!!!! Well, enough of my problems. 

As for Care2, I'm willing to stick around here.  I've had more problems this past week than any other time though. I do have a Facebook account and have got many of my old high school friends on it. And am beginning to see more of my Care2 friends going there. It's definitely different and to me pretty complicated, but I'm willing to stick them both out.
