Hey there dear friends. Lily, I heard your request and noticed that I too was having a long time for the page to load. So, we're going to see if starting a new page will do the trick. I will be reposting your last post and Jill's last post. I pray everyone is doing well today. Love ya'll dearly.

Do either of you have the problem I am getting with this thread?
It takes ages to load and the posts are jumping up and down for ages before I can read them properly or post.
Might be because thread is so long.
Have asked Vicky to start a new one but she hasn't come in again.
Kathryn, thank you so much for opening a new thread. I'm lax in my duties cause I don't make it in every day. So many changes everywhere that it kind of gets on my nerves. lol I love your little teddy bear 'hello' graphic. How is your job coming along; it's good to see you again.
Lily, my page jumps around sometimes, too. So aggravating. It's seems like I'd rather watch t.v. anymore than get online.
Jill your graphics are pretty as usual and Lee how is your hands doing? It looks like most of our cold weather is gone. Of course it's been known to sneak back before spring actually arrives. lol
Well not much news. I wonder where Nance is? Haven't seen her here in a while. I guess Agnes is busy with her other groups.
Hi Friends, thanks Kathryn it has done the trick my page is loading quick now and not jumping.
By the way Kathryn there is an e-card I sent you not picked up from the beginning of the month.
Still cold here and forcast not good, we might even get snow flurries the weekend!!
Vicky the only jumping I get is what I said about the long thread and it has stopped now.
Don't know what has happened to Nance but Agnes was here recently.
We used to have more like Anis wonder where he went to?
Hi Kathryn, Lily, Vicky, and Jill,
I do love the duck and the roses, Jill.
I am getting fed up chasing that new cat off,he's been after my long tailed tits again and was swinging on the feeder the other day.
Good morning Lily, Lee, Nance, Jill, Kathryn and Agnes. Boy, we had torrents of rain last night, complete with thunder and lots of lightening. My yard looks like a swimming pool this morning. Thank God my mom bought me a pair of rubber boots about 10 yrs ago. It's one of the best gifts I've ever received.
Lily, I use Windows 8.0 (which I hate and I wonder if I can go back to 7.0). Anyway I can no longer right click and see 'properties' on graphics. It only gives me 'View Page Source', View Page Info' and 'Inspect Element'. Is yours like that? Why does things constantly change and for the worse!! I can't resize like I used to, even in editing programs, my 500 x 500 pixels looks like it's 700 x 700. Am I going crazy? And forget the right click and drag the corners for a bigger or larger picture. It doesn't stay that way. Have all computers/apps gone to that mess? Sigh. Can you give the cat a quick spray to run it off? It probably won't stay away though. Always something to endanger the birds, squirrels, foxes or some other animal. I am not a cat person, especially when they come around my birds and squirrels! Kittens are cute though.
Jill, I love the duck you posted for Jill. How large are your 2 big graphics? Try to resize before posting.
Lee, how is your wrist this morning? I hope you'll soon be able to remove your wrist band.
Agnes, Kathryn and Nance, I hope you find time to stop in soon. We miss you, I've got nerve saying to stop in, huh? Sometimes I don't make it in for a couple of days either. hahaha!
Does anyone have any ideas on how to perk our group up? Maybe new stuff will attract more members. thanks!
Hi Lily and Vicky,
I'm with Vicky. The only way I ever taught a cat to stay away was to keep a spray bottle (set to stream) by the door and spray the heck out of him every time you see him. After a while he'll learn maybe.
Vicky, I love that pic. It hung over the bed I slept in at my grandmother's house while I was growing up!
It was at my grandmother's house, too, Lee! It is one of my favorite pictures; I also love the Blue Boy and the Pink Girl. My Aunt had those. In the graphic above I added the wording border and sunbeams although it was beautiful without them. But thanks on your compliment. Another way I thought to scare the cat away, and hopefully not really hurt him, is to put some sardines in a mouse trap and when it snaps it will either scare him or nip his nose or paw. Maybe that will teach him to leave the birds alone! hahaha! How is your wrist today? Did it rain in your neighborhood? Boy it was a storm and a half here and is still cloudy.
sorry you are getting so much rain Vicky, sure makes a mess in the garden. Not raining here so far but it is still muddy out there because so cold and damp.
I would not use that method with a mouse trap any time, much too dangerous as it could do more damage than just a nip and also could trap a squirrel or bird. Would kill a bird instantly, especially baby ones and the robins are ground feeders mainly.
As`for the cats they are too far away to spray and I couldn't be on watch day and night for them.
I have flicked water on them from the bird baths when I have been out but they still come back.
Dont think anything deters them really.
I know it is nature but we humans dont help by giving them squeaky toys etc to play with.
Cats dont go after them for food just to play and torment them.
This morning I looked out and saw pigeon feathers everywhere!! I dont know if it was a cat or fox responsible.
Judging by the amount of feathers and no body I am inclined to think it was a fox.Must have been round early if it was.
No idea how to perk things up Vicky, there are only games and we haven't anyone here now to play them even.
Lots of groups are suffering the same things.
I am in one where everyone has disappeared except about 3 and I am trying to keep it going, renewing threads etc but when I go into hospital no one will be playing I guess.
Hosts just disappear.
If there are no hosts they are going to go down.
Regards your other problem Vicky with windows etc not sure which one I have even!!
I use my aol for everything and when I right click I get several options including properties.
By the way the graphic of Jills rose is 640x427!!
I have no problem making mine smaller in these boxes if needed or can do them in image editor.
Lily, what do you mean in AOL? Here's how I do my graphics (sounds like you do yours different). I find one I like, copy to my computer then upload to one of the editing programs or Photobucket then resize. However, it appears so many of my graphics look to be huge when the pixels say they aren't. I wish things would quit changing. I used to click Jill's (or anyone's) picture and see how big it is, now I can't. All this is driving me crazy and is so stupid. Awww, I feel bad for the poor little pigeon. Do foxes actually eat them versus cats that just kill them? I hope it wasn't one of the ones you like, Whitey2? Yep, are disappearing right and left...a stop in occasionally but that's all. I dread when you go into the hospital as this and the squirrel group as you are a faithful visitor and chatter. Well you need to get a laptop if you don't have one and bring it to the hospital so you can stay online with us. hahahaha!
How do you like this tag I made? Pretty, huh? I added the glitter, border and words. I wanted to do a lot more but when I go to different editing programs the glitter stops. So I must learn how to do some things first and put the glitter last. But I'm afraid that whatever I add first will be covered up when I add the glitter. sigh
No Vicky I don't do things different, I just use my browser which is AOL desktop 9.6 for practically everything.
I get photos same as you and put them in file on my computer and then if they are big go to the image editor.
I dont do them in Photobucket.
The image editor is good as you know I make those pics with words and glitter, stars etc on there and text.
Your tag is nice it does not need anything else added ,too much will spoil them.
The close up pic of flower of Jill's is large again 640x425 so maybe she cannot see properties either.
When I right click I get it ,there are about 9 different things there.
Yes Foxes do eat pigeons, they eat any dead animal too.
The feathers aren't actually in my garden but the one opposite my back door.
Once before it happened, and I went out with one of those garden vacs to get them up..
But I am not up to all that right now so will have to see what happens to them if it rains too.
Maybe other birds will collect some for their nests.
The woman upstairs never goes out there, I always cut the grass etc in the summer.
It wasn't whitey anyway he never returned again.
I dont know why you are having all that trouble with stuff really.
Who is your server? the one you pay for your broadband?
As`I said aol is mine and everything I do is on their pages except when I go to Firefox for Youtube as the links haven't been working to get the video showing lately when I do it in aol.
I doubt if they'd let me use a laptop in that hospital! they dont even have a tv set there and I guess I wont be feeling like much by the time they have finished with me!!

Jill have you tried resizing them like I showed you?
They are still over 600 and will stretch the page again
Hi Lily, Vicky, and Jill,
Lily, cats aren't part of nature. Humans brought them. They are an introduced predator and do great harm to the wildlife.
Jill, pretty close-ups of flowers.
Vicky, we are just drowning in rain here. It's been raining so much the last few months I think I'm in the Pacific northwest instead of the south!

Lee I hope you are having a nice birthday despite the weather.
Hi Lily and Jill,
Oh it's beautiful the way the light falls on it, Jill. And I love the sparklies too!
Hi Lily and Jill,
Most of the pics are red Xs!
Hi Lee, Lily and Jill. What happened to Nance and Kathryn? The rain stopped a couple of days ago and it has been dreary and damp ever since. Tonight is getting down to 26 degrees. BRRRRRR! I went and covered some of my plants.
Lily, I hope everything works out okay when you go to the hospital. Refresh my memory again....when are you going and how long will you be gone? Actually, even though Jill's graphics are large, they haven't stretched out the page so they are okay. What is AOL Desktop? Is it like AOL mail? I used Firefox and Google and I think it may be Firefox that changed the properties. Not sure about Google. Photobucket has changed everything too. Changes, changes, changes. Sometimes I feel like just staying off the computer but if I do that then when I finally return it will be even more advanced. GRRRR! The original Whitey left, what about the 2nd one? The picture of the bluebirds is beautiful.
Lee, has the rain stopped and are you surrounded by lots of mud? I was. Beware cuz it is going to get real cold tonight. By next Monday or Tuesday it's supposed to be back up in the 70's. lol
Jill, I sure like your light pink rose with the glitters. It looks so delicate. And your lady in the yellow dress is so pretty.
Well I will bid you all a good night. I made this the other night.

Red X's Lee, they are all showing to me,must be a care2 glitch or something.
I dont know yet Vicky when it is I see the consultant next week and dont know how long for either.
AOL desktop is the name of my browser.AOL is who I pay for internet.
Although it used to be fine getting the links for YouTube videos on that one, since they changed the long link thing I cant.
That is why I do it in Firefox.
Whitey 2 didn't stay around long either so neither of the white ones came back.
There was a programme on TV about wildlife and was showing foxes so I was going to film it to put on here but then it started showing the fox chasing a squirrel and it caught t so I didn't do it .
We dont want to watch that!
Good Morning..!! Vicky, Lee, Lily, Jill and Dear friends who drop by
Have a happy Sunday..! to all
Hi Lee...maybe care2 glitch..hope you're well my friend..
Vicky..here snow melting fast..glad..spring soon...
your tag are cute..you done it well..
and glad..you've skill day by day
Lily...today I posted news on care2 about Eagle got a sea snake and snake try to bite eagle..if have time take a look...?
Jill..thanks for all lovely comments to share us here
Peace is pure love be with us
Hi Jill, Vicky, Lily, and Agnes,
All the roses are gorgeous, Jill. I enjoy them so much.
Agnes and Lily, it was the Adobe thing on my computer. It's all fixed.
Vicky, if we didn't have mud around here lately, we wouldn't know how to act! So much rain.
My wrist hurts.
A couple of my trees are beginning to blossom but my apple tree looks dead!! hope not ,there is no sign of life on it not one leaf even.
Hello ladies. Well today is in the upper 60' and so pretty. I planted some flowers (not seeds and boy that was a job). I have to buy some fertilzier sticks for our fruit trees. It seems like I get more and more satsumas each year Praise the Lord. I just love them...so sweet and seedles..
Pretty roses, Jill.
Agnes, I love your candy tag, I used to love those candies. I have been having so much trouble making tags. Everything has changed it seems and I'm having a hard time with it.
Lee, thank goodness I have my boots cause with all that rain there was so much mud in my yard, too. I still have a spot or two of soft dirt left. We have a 20% chance of rain tomorrow.
Lily, I'm sorry your last tetra died. How old was he? Wow, those loaches are old for fish. You mean the baby danio is already 3 yrs old??? It seems like he was just born about a year ago. I wonder whatever happened to Whitey and Whitey 2. You know I don't know what's happened to all our blue jays either. We have seen 1 maybe 2 this year. Strange. I my jasmine looks like it completely died too (like your apple tree). I wonder why? I pray I'll go out soon and there will be some green leaves on it with flowers on their way but I doubt it. Oh, you called Agnes Annie.
Well I got to run. Talk to ya later, folks!
Hi friends good morning,
Vicky you read it wrong about the fish.
I said 3 years 'except' the baby.
He was born in February this year and now as big as his parents.
The loaches can live for 20 years so might outlive me!
Not sure how old the tetra was but over the life span anyway.
But it's possible he was knocked by the loaches tearing about as they do move fast when they rush from one tunnel to another.
OOPS I called Agnes Annie, sorry about that must have been getting confused with the other group as I usually go from one to the other.
That apple tree wasn't as good since next door cut branches their side of garden as it seemed more lopsided with the branches hanging lower this side.
But then again I am wondering if another neighbour whose garden is next door but one may have poured something on its roots.
Because those people'e flat is upstairs to the next doors one and they made a fuss a while back about the height of my eucalyptus tree.
I dont see how it affected them ,I think they tried to say it affected their TV reception which is a load of hogwash!!
And they sent someone round to see me about them cutting the top off it.
I said it is nothing to do with them what is in my garden and I cant see how it could possibly affect their TV.
Anyway I never gave him permission to do it but a couple of days later I went out the garden and saw the top of the tree had been cut off.
I was really mad but nothing I could do as it was gone.
It will grow back eventually anyway but has spoiled the appearance of it.
Some people are just nasty.
They had better not do anything else in my garden or there will be trouble
Hi Jill, Lily, and Vicky,
Hey there. I have had one crazy and very long week. I ended up working a lot of hours and when I would get home, I just had no energy to get online. But overall, it's been a great and wonderful week and start of a new week for me. First I just want to share that my job has given me a small raise with a small promotion. I'm excited and am willing to do all that I can to do my job and do it with joy & love. Secondly, my oldest daughter passed her driving test last week and she just bought herself a used car yesterday. So, she's happy as a clam right now. My youngest daughter is still struggling with trying to balance work & school. She'll figure it out, prayerfully. Anyway.... just a quick jump in to let ya'll know that I'm still around. Even though I'm not getting in daily, I do think of each of you often. Have a blessed day everybody.
Hi Kathryn, Jill, and Lily,
Both are lovely, Jill, both the rose and the flower with a drop of dew.
Glad things have turned around, Kathryn.
Oh Lily, I opened the Smilebox the day you told me about it. I just forgot to tell you. I'm so sorry. It was a wonderful box full of beautiful things. It makes me so happy every time I look at it!
I'm glad you found it Lee was thinking you might have missed it.
Dont know why there is a link from me above ,the pic was there before.
I think maybe care2 is to blame for this happening sometimes too because if the image is your care2 albums there is no reason for it to appear as a link.
I am off to the hospital appointment in the morning so maybe then will know when the op is going to be.
Good evening ladies. Today was so beautiful....I sat outside and read my Bible and my angel book. I hated to come inside.
Lily, that is terrible that your neighbors did that to your trees. Why can't people mind their own business and be nicer to others. I hope your apple tree has not been poisoned Yes, problems with Care2 and everywhere else with me. Lily, the baby danio I'm talking about wasn't just born. It was one from last year. Let us know what the doctor says tomorrow about your op.
Jill, you have some very pretty pictures. I love the one with the sky and shadows; the tree looks like an Oleander by it's leaves. I've never seen a tan rose. I've grown a white with green tint on the tips but it didn't show up good last year. Maybe this year will be better.
Kathryn, it's great to see you! That is awesome that you got a raise and promotion already! How long have you worked there? And your daughters are grown now and doing so well with school and jobs and a new car, too! Everything sur has changed for you from a year or so ago hasn't it? So many blessings.
Lee, did you have a gorgeous spring day today, too? It sure uplifts my spirits when I sit outside (before the summer heat) enjoying God's creations.
Well time for me to get off of here. I pray each of you have a blessed evening or morning.

Hi Lily, Vicky, Agnes, and Jill,
Pretty peach rose, Jill.
Vicky, It was cold and cloudy here.
Lily, I hope you have an easy hospital trip.
Happy every day, Agnes!
Here's one you will like Lee
The transport to hospital was almost an hour late picking me up!!
Then I waited an hour or more past my appointment time before I saw someone!
Now apparently they want to remove the ovary instead of just the cyst as they said they usually do if you are menopausal and the cyst could grow back otherwise.
I have to wait for a letter now to say when I will be admitted so could be any time.
I asked how long it is likely I will be in there and he said a week.
Vicky I have not had any other danios,I had those two who had this baby in February never had any babies last year.
It has been raining today here.
Yesterday was just the opposite and it was quite fine with sunshine.
I went in garden and got most of those feathers up,the pigeons stayed away a bit I guess they saw what happened to the other one and got scared.
But they have been back today.
Stupid posts not showing up again!! guess the other one will turn up after this eventually.
Sign the weekend is almost here, always seems to happen then when no one around to fix stuff.
Hi Lily..funny images site I saw the site have problem...can't see images
Good evening Lily, Lee, Kathryn, Agnes, and Jill. Not much going on tonight.
Lily, what kind of a fish was that last year or year before that was a baby and had to hide from the bigger fish til it got bigger, and then you said it was as big as it's parents or another fish? That was a long time ago. I love the photo with the dog and fuzzy ducklings. So cute! Is the video of the puppy playing the piano showing up as a tiny box? So much crapola everywhere anymore. So hard to have fun on the internet...half the stuff doesn't work anymore lik it used to. There was more feathers in the garden? I wonder if it was that darn cat that did something?
Agnes, I love your doll tag, Jill your rose is pretty and Lee it was cold and cloudy? That's too bad. I wish I could have sent you some of our 'springtime' temps. Kathryn, how are things going with you?
Hi Lily, Agnes, and Vicky,
Aww, Lily, that doggie is a duck mama and looks to be pleased to be one. I love it!
Have a good day, Agnes and Vicky.
The post I did last night has not shown up.
Vicky my apologies about the baby Danio, you were right I must be losing my marbles.
He was born February last year not this year.
Cant believe how quick that has gone.
Cant remember what else I wrote last night other than those feathers were the same ones, I just didn't remove them before.
Good evening Lily, Lee, Agnes and Jill. I don't know if it was my blood pressure was high or not today but I staggered now and again and had a headache. I felt bad.
Whew Lily! I thought I was going crazy about your little Danio fish. Thanks for clarifying for me. That sure is a cute fennec fox above. Did you hear anything back from your test?
Lee, I hope you are feeling okay. How are all your furbabies?
Jill, I love your rose...it looks almost three dimensional or something...cute little puppy, too.
Agnes, I hope you're having a good evening.
Hi Jill, Lily, and Vicky,
Jill, I love the pup and the rose.
Cute fox, Lily.
Adorable baby panda, Vicky.
Hi Lee and Jill. Where is our Lily? Today I felt better and the weather was like spring again.
I want to remind you to set your clocks ahead tonight before going to bed. Here are some interesting facts on how Daylight Savings got started, etc.
Seem to do that a lot lately lol old age!
Hi Vicky, Jill, and Lily,
Hi Lee, Lily and Jill. Well it rained last night and 1/2 of the day today but then the sun came out.
Thank you for the pretty Monday rose & dove, Jill; that sure is an odd looking shoe. lol The white and yellow flowers are very cheerful-looking.
Lee, I guess your wrist is still hurting since I only see you posting the little emoticons. But that's okay...at least you make it in.
That's right Lily, I forgot you told us that you had gotten your tests back and that your op would be soon. Oh, I'm seeing another box instead of a graphic. I don't know why you can see a pic and I can't. I like your kitty cat 'Monday' graphic. He looks real tired doesn't he? lol On your bulbs (after they bloom) do you wait until the foliage is brown before cutting it back? Or do you cut it back? Anyway, if you do and don't wait til it's brown then you won't get flowers the following year. It has to have time to let whatever makes the flowers go back into the stems.

Vicky there are still red X's everywhere, in albums and on 'my pages'.The glitches are not sorted yet.

Good Morning..!! dear friends...
drop fast..to let you know
We will be taking the site down Wednesday, March 13th at 9pm. We anticipate that this will take under an hour, but you will not be able to access any part of the site, email, messages etc. so adjust accordingly!!
Hi Vicky, Jill, and Lily,
Jill, I love that rosy shoe!
Such a pretty tag, Vicky. Sparkly gold and silver with black - lovely color combo!
I'll be as careful as I can manage, Lily, but I am a little scared of what could happen.
Site maintenance WEDNESDAY 9pm only just found out.
and I have been reading a member with over 90 weather!!!
Still i wouldn't like that too hot for my liking.
This post was modified from its original form on 12 Mar, 21:33
Hi Lily and Agnes,
I hope Jill's okay.
Lily, all I can see at the top of your post is a bunch of computer stuff - no pic. Got it and will check as soon as I can. It may have to be after the retreat. I have so much to do and I'm so slow!
Have a wonderful day, Agnes.

This little robin found the water too cold!! it had been icy the night before
Hi Jill and Lily,
Jill, I love that stripedy rose. I've never seen one like that!
Lily, that poor robin got a chilly surprise, didn't he? And he just wanted a bath!
This post was modified from its original form on 14 Mar, 9:13
Good morning friends,
doesn't look like the maintenance has fixed everything yet as most of my pics are still red X's in my albums and on my page.
Got this one from my photobucket pics.
No point keep putting the care2 ones on for them to turn into a jumble of words!.
I guess the birds are confused with this weather lately, it should be better than this by now, going to make it hard for the baby birds.
Hi Jill and Lily,
Beautiful spring flowers, Jill. I'd love to see that whole tree.
I hope your weather gets better, Lily.
Off to the retreat. See you Monday.
Hi friends hope this pic stays ,they have a habit of disappearing lately.
It is wet and windy here today, dont want to go out but probably have to tomorrow as I need some shopping.
There was loads of food on the bird table but when I looked out a squirrel was up on the feeder line trying to eat the suet block!!
Good evening Lily, Lee and Jill. I fertilized my and mom's tree's today and did some weeding and boy was it hot. Sunday is supposed to be in the 80's. I wish we'd have a couple of more months of spring weather before the heat moves in.
Jill, that sure is a pretty rose and I love the pink trees, too.
Lee, it's been a year since your last retreat? Boy time is flying. I hope you have a good time and accident free too. Just be careful.
Lily, beautiful blue bird and purple flowers. And the fennec fox is precious! Do you put out food for the foxes? I'm sure they're hungry since there's probably not much woods around to scavange. I put out a suet cake the other day and saw a squirrel on it and it was eaten within a day. Poor birds probably got just a little bit. Darn squirrels! I love them but they are so greedy.
Good night everyone. Happy St. Pattys Day on the 17th. I made this tag.
I would not put food out for the foxes like that Vicky as I said before I had rats round eating it.
Anyway the fox doesn't visit all that often so never know when I am going to see it and if It sees me it will only run so I would put food out for nothing.
Last time I did the cats ate it!!!!
I think Lee's retreat is more than once a year Vicky but I could be wrong.
Good Morning..!! Lily, Vicky, Lee, Jill and friends..
happy weekend....make your day a happy day...
Lily..your tag st. pat..cute..!!
Good Morning..!! Happy Sunday to all Dear friends..
Hi Jill..your st. Pat..sexy..
Hello friends. Sorry it's been a week since I last chimed in. We just finished up Spring Break as of yesterday. Lots of hours and I'm still going. We had one co worker that left to go back home to S.C. and one co worker that went on vacation to NY. He should be back, hopefully this Wednesday. So, I haven't had time to even think let alone get online. I've had one day off in 12 days. I'll get 3 days off starting this Wednesday. I'll need them definitely.
Well, I've got some news for ya'll. I'M GOING TO BE A GRANDMA TIMES TWO. My son & his wife are expecting and then my youngest daughter is also. I am overwhelmed with emotions. I go from joyous & happy to fear. To have a baby these days is just really scary. But other than that, I'm excited.
I want to get into a few more groups, so I know this is short. Just wanted to stop in to say hi. I have to head into work at 2 today. Love you ladies very much!!!!
Hi there Kathryn,
Wow your'e going to be a grandma twice over!!!
congratulations! just as well you are doing all this work then, going to need the extras to spoil the babies when they arrive.
I guess you will be glad of the days off though to recharge your batteries!!!
You have a birthday coming up so you have just had an early present hearing that news.
Lee I guess by your post you are worn out from the retreat, I hope you enjoyed it though, shame you have all the trouble after.
Have a good rest now.
Hi friends good morning
Having to get some new graphics as still a load of blanks everywhere on my stuff.
About time it was sorted.
Cats have been using my tubs as a toilet now!!!!! not going to stand for that I will get a spray to deter them!
what with the squirrels digging up everything and now them just fed up with it.
The squirrel broke a bulb that was just coming up too.
The garden is a right mess enough without all that.
My replacement Bonsai tree
Hi Kathryn, Lily, and Jill,
Good Morning...!! Wednesday...Jill, Lily, Vicky, Lee, Kat and Dear friends
have a happy SPRING...!!
Good afternoon Kathryn, Lee, Agnes, Lily and Jill. It's cooler today but sunny nonetheless.
Kathryn! It's good to see you and congratulations on becoming a grandma. But twice? eeks! Like Lily said, it's good you're getting extra hours. lol Isn't your daughter in school or is she just working? I can't remember. I know you'll be glad when your coworker returns...it's always nice to have extra hands to help. What a cute teddy bear 'good morning' tag.
Lily, a cat peeing in your flowers? That's worse than a squirrel digging into the dirt. Pretty coloring on the brown and white kitty and I like the glittery tag with the cat in the cup. That sure is a lovely bonsai plant....don't kill it! hahaha! Just kidding. Have they set up your appointment yet?
Lee, it looks like your hands may be bothering you a lot today. How was your retreat? I bet it was peaceful and beautiful. How many retreats do you have a year?
Jill, that sure is a pretty rose (yellow); cute cross eyed cat but he's very large.
Agnes, what technique did you use on the doll above the cat? I love the squares....I want to use that one. It sure is a cute tag.
Well I gotta run....everybody take care.
What kind of bird is that up there ? is it a kind of woodpecker?
Looks like he has a pullover on lol.
What appointment Vicky? I have no appointments ,I am awaiting admission and would soon tell you if I was going.
I am not talking about a cat peeing in the tub but pooing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I shall get a spray to deter cats away fro the garden,I bet it is that new grey cat.
Also seen one or two splats which could be a fox or hedgehog but haven't seen either.
Makes a mess in the garden too what with the pigeons sometimes dropping it onto my dustbin lid.
They also keep perching on the bird baths and of course make that water dirty, right nuisances.
New garden ornaments
Jill, I forgot to comment on the pretty woodpecker earlier. He does look like he's wearing a vest or shirt made out of eyelet material. Very pretty....what kind is he? Did you take that picture?
Lily I meant admission not appointment. Just read between the lines when i say something. I like your lawn ornaments, are they solar? I have solar lights that take batteries (not sure why) but it seems I have to replace them more than I should have to. Looks like the sun would prevent them from being used so much.
Hi Vicky, Jill, Agnes, and Lily,
Bird is a female flicker, a type of woodpecker.
Don't know what he found under the snow or maybe it is just snow!!!!
Most of the ornaments are solar Vicky but I dont get enough sun here really to get them to work properly.
The coloured ball ones are fine though they have been working quite a bit without sun just the light.
The latest squirrel one has a battery so it can be on all the time but that would soon wear them down.
My large fox ornament is still here indoors,I dont think I am ever going to put that one outside.Too nice to get spoiled out there and I will see it more in here.
Good evening Lily, Lee and Jill. Today was a lot cooler but that's about all the news for today. Colder weather....that's about it.
Lee, thanks for letting me know that that's a female Flicker. Are those holes in it's feathers? I know it's not holes (or I don't think so) but it looks almost like I could put my fingers in them. Do all Flickers have feathers like that even though it doesn't look like feathers.
Lily, are worms around in the winter? If so maybe that's whats he's looking for. It's probably a good thing you kept your fox ornament inside....I like looking at my stuff and inside I would see it more often.
Great pics, Jill.
Good night ladies.
Hi Vicky, Jill, and Lily,
All flickers have black polka dots on their chest feathers, I think, Vicky. They are neat looking.
It is snowing here this morning!!!!
Supposed to be Spring!!!!
Lily, Lee, Vicky, Jill, Kat and Dear friends
Have a happy WEEKEND
Hi Lily, Agnes, and Jill,
Thank you for all the beautiful roses while my hands weren't working. I love the swans and roses today.
Lily, I love the African violets. My dear grandmother used to grow African violets.
Agnes, have a wonderful weekend. Stay warm.
A quick hello this evening. Well my 2 brothers and my son pulled up my mom's carpet and layed tile for her in her living room as her birthday gift. That's what she wanted. Bless their hearts they have been working over 12 hours.
Lily, I love your purple computer and also your purple good morning tag (I snagged it). Snow???? Eeks. I saw on Weather Bug that in the next few nights it is supposed to get down in the 20's (from being 60 degrees at night) but then it's going right back up to the 60's at night. Screwy weather. lol I haven't watched your video yet but I will.
Lee, I'm glad to see your hands are doing better. Do they hurt you as much when the weather turns hot?
Agnes, I love your red flower tag; it looks so cheerful! You may have told me in your other group where you got it but I forget. Where did you get it? So cute.
Jill, pretty graphics as usual...I hope you are having a nice weekend.

Well Vicky the highest temperature outside we been told has been 37f.
stopped snowing but more to come probably, some places have had it bad.
My bonsai tree needs plenty of watering, it is warm in here with the central heating and the rootball must not dry out so it gets watered at least every other day and is looking fine at the moment.
Lily, is your bathroom cooler than the rest of the house? Maybe you could put your bonsai in there when you're gone (or at home, too) and put a saucer or bowl of water for it to sit in. Water won't go up into the plant unless it needs it so the water will be there when it does. Do you have a window in there for light. Hopefully you won't stay in the hospital long.
Vicky my instructions for the bonsai tree says a normal room temperature or even warmer is excellent for this plant.
It is not a cold plant.it can be placed on a shallow tray of gravel with water added.
Too much water is as bad as not enough and I have lost some plants before by over watering but this tree must never dry out on the root ball.
It seems to be doing ok where it is.
it has even grown a bit bigger since I had it.
I just need to make sure the woman knows how much watering it needs.
Good evening Lily, Lee and Jill. Well it was absolutely gorgeous this afternoon...quite warm and very sunny. Now it says it won't go down in the 20's but in the 30's for a couple of nights...but that's okay. Not too cold.
Lily, yes a bonsai likes warmth BUT not a heater warmth if it's too stuffy. Not good for any plant. I used to spray water to keep my plants humid especially if a house is hot from a heater. Yes, you can definitely overwater a plant IF you water from the top. However sitting it in a little tray or saucer of water will not over water. Like I said, it will only soak up what it needs. Sitting on pebbles with water is for humidity....I don't think the plant is actually in the water.
Well I gotta run....please keep your snow. lol
Hello~Lily, Vicky & Friends
Yes, indeed we have the white blanket slowly going, and the green one coming~
Hi Lily, Vicky, Jill, and Nance,
Great to see you again, Nance.
Lily, I hope your friend understands. I don't want to think about you being in the hospital. I will miss you.
Vicky, how much they hurt seems to depend mostly on my overusing them (which I always seem to do no matter how much I try not to) and not so much on temperature.
Oh, I love it, Jill...a glass flower and a reflection. So pretty!
