It is so nice to meet you!

Hi! My name is Ronni, and I live in Vermont. I am a hippie, if I had to label myself. I am an advocate for not only nature, but for humans and and animals as well. I work at home taking care of my best friend, who is in a wheelchair. I am a certified nurses assistant. I have a beautiful boston terrier, who is my best friend in fur. I have great friends here in my community, but I am always looking for more. When I am not behind the screen of this computer, I love to be in touch with my family in Tx, walking, going to Lake Champlain, crocheting, and I almost always have a notebook and something to read in my bag. It is really nice to meet each of you, and I hope you have had a pleasant and peaceful day.

Hi Veronica!   We are so glad to have you as our newest member and I hope you visit on a daily basis if you can.   Boy, I miss the hippie days so much....the 70's were my favorite years.  I get nostalgic whenever I think of them.   Days of peace and love....ahhhh...gone.    Well at least there's a few of us left still.      Animal lovers are definitely my favorite people and I wish I had a million dollars so I could open rescues all over the U.S. and save those in shelters.   How nice of you to take care of your handicapped friend...I know she appreciates it.    I used to love to walk when it was cool weather, although where I live doesn't provide much area to walk and I used to love to read (before the days of computers).  lol  What genre do you like?   Well thank you for joining and here is a big welcome!   Come back often and post in all our threads!   If you have any ideas for a new one you can either open one or let me know and I will.   The ladies here are super nice.

Hi new friend Ronni,
Welcome to our group, I am an animal lover first and foremost. Most of us are here really.
I am sure you will fit in perfectly here with us,there are not a lot of us posting at present but we aim to regularly.
please feel free to post any pics in our threads animals or otherwise.
at the moment I am fox watching! a young cub is visiting my garden and so far I have managed to get a short video of it.
Also a hedgehog.
I really enjoy the wildlife in my garden and I am always making videos or taking photos of squirrels or birds.
so you would describe yourself as a hippie? and Vicky reckons she was one years ago, more like a mod I think judging by this old photo of her with her beehive hair-do  lol  still it was 1965!!!!
She'll probably kill me for putting this one on  hahha

You'e dead meat, Lily!  lol  Cute photo of you except it was made in the 40's, not hippy days.  teehee!   Pretty flowers, Jill!

Was that really your hair Vicky? there's an awful lot of it.

Could do with borrowing some at the moment as my hair still hasn't got back to normal from those blood thinners I was on.

Yes that is my hair Lily but believe me it wasn't thick.  I used to have a lot of hair but it was fine so it didn't look thick at least when it was combed out.   Oh, I wasn't a hippy in those days but I was a few years after.   I wonder what happened to Ronni?   She posted once and I've never seen her again.   That's a shame, too.
