An all girl Russion punk band have been in jail for months for performing a song critical of Vladimeer Putin.
3 members of Pussy Riot were convicted of "Hooliganism" this morning and sentenced to two years in prisonfor singing a "punk prayer" protest song in the main Russion Orthodox Church in Moscow. The song critisized high rooshian mooky mook, Vladimeer Putin by name. Their lawyer says the trial was a kangaroo court and the sentence was decided by Bad Vlad himself:
A Moscow judge has convicted three members of the feminist punk band Pussy Riot of hooliganism in a verdict that amounts to a defense of the Russian Orthodox Church’s apparent right to be shielded from criticism within its own walls.
