rebelin' against? June 20, 2006 5:40 AM

Just about everything right now.  I'd love to be a peaceful person; much easier on the nerves...  but just seems invariably that something comes along that just ruffles my proverbial feathers.  Mostly to do with humans and their treatment of others.  [ send green star]

I can relate! June 20, 2006 7:07 AM

My biggest passion is children though....I rebel against a system that does little to support young parents and young children.  [ send green star]

Rebelling right now about all the dam drive by shootings in our area, and our cops busy bothering innocent people. I guess they don't like danger either!!

Jesus, this is a small city, were running outta places to hide. Don't believe what the Ads tell ya, Nova Scotia is not the place to be.

Pissed off, Lyn

anonymous Interesting. June 23, 2006 11:10 AM

Are there any healthy entertainment or activities in Nova Scotia for children 14 years and older?  Perhaps building a BMX track can redirect the thendency to shoot each other?  Gosh, I remember one year, I had to coax a bunch of children to help fill sand bags at the track.  Once they got there and started, they asked to do it again!  Too Funny!

Thanks for the heads up. Any bikers in NS?  [ send green star]

anonymous  June 23, 2006 9:59 PM

Oh hell yeah, we have some beautiful bikes here, they're all out this time of year too. My brother owned a Harley back around 93', I luved that bike, deep purple and chrome!!! I can't ride myself but I got to ride for bout 9 yrs. I have driven with some crazy drivers!! LOL

Well....the Angels moved out of the area, theyr'e club house was just up the street. They were also the ones keeping the peace round here.

And Calm.....just what they all need, something else to do!! Yeah, make it part of the Justice Plan, you break the law, you bag sand or something. There seems to be no focus here on Prevention programs, and they just shut down Youth Flex Program that was keeping some of them in school. Poor dumb Nova Scotia.....

Have a good nite folks!! peace out Lyn

I rebel against the majority of ignoramuses in America and Iran that commit hate crimes and are racist against Russians...actually I hate ANYONE who is a racist against anyone else... I get subject to more prejudice than you could believe. I am fighting against ignorance and injustice then I guess you could say. I don't need a bike to be a rebel though. I prefer to walk 9 times out of 10 because I like the environment also; it's pretty hard to get one of those damned things to run in weather like we have up here  [ send green star]

No lack of things to rebel against November 06, 2006 9:14 AM

Just recently I'm exploring ways for people to wrestle away some power from local and national governments.

It is so hard for people to survive and they should be trying more to help themselves fulfill their own needs instead of working their fingers to the bone to buy designer clothing and shoes, appliances, electronics, sporting goods and all that good stuff, we should be hooking up for exchanging with each other.

Kids shouldn't be going without shoes, clothes or school supplies. My buddy is a size 46 and had a devil of a time finding pants to fit. He's on a diet but in the meantime he can't go nekkid on his bike. I scoured the thrift stores and saw what a pathetic selection they had. I finally found one pair at a garage sale. I'm still looking for a belt for him.

My point is, that people have needs and usually someone has already got what another needs.

Anyway, a new group has opened up on Care2 that I'm going to be a Co-Host of. Hope to see you guys there.

Can rebelion be done quietly? If so I usually try to rebel quietly and without much angry words or behavior. Sometimes I make mistakes and slip on some of the Buddhist rules, but I try to get up and try again. Since joining Care2.com, I have a very strong distaste  for war

Of course. Quiet is good. Leave the loudness to me. I've got that covered.  [ send green star]
