Hi all orca lovers

I'm Claudia,really love the whales,orca is one of my favorite,a beautifull and majestic creature of the sea.My interest lies in protecting the oceans and the residents in it,particular the whales and seals and dolphins.Hate it to see them being slaughtered or being exploited in aquariums !!! i also support Sea Shepherd.Nice to be hear and thanks for the invite Raven...

Thanks for the invite and I am glad to be here. This is a great group and I am honored to be a member. I am on a marine mammal stranding team and also do enviromental enrichment with Beluga whales. I love all of the creatures of the deep and the Orca has always been near the top of the list. Hope I can have a postive input.

I just want to say thank you to Larry for the invite!

Even though I can 't swim to save my life, I have always enjoyed

the ocean, with all its colorful marine life. Dolphins are so sweet,

friendly, and cute, while whales also have much to say.

They say that they can communicate through air holes (if I

remember correctly). I find that beyond fascinating, if they

have their own language, and here we are thinking we are so advanced.

Thanks for the invite, Nicola.  This looks like a great place to be.  I'm orginally from the NorthWest and have had to blessed oportunity to see these gorgeous creatures in person.  What a magnificent animal they are.....and far more intelligent than a lot of people I know!  I hope to learn, contribute and become a big part of this group.
