“The Prime Minister said he was disturbed that Aung San Suu Kyi may be charged with breaching the terms of her home detention in Burma”.
“We would like to express our sincere appreciation over Mr Brown’s brave action”, said Myo Thein, Director at the Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) in United Kingdom
“This is only the first step. We have a long way to go”, added Myo Thein.
We wanted to see more action. Other world leaders should follow the suit of Mr Brown.
Crisis in Burma is in pivotal state and we must take immediate actions to intervene to stop injustice in Burma.
US, EU and ASEAN governments must take action immediately on Burma.
Clock is ticking and we have no time to waste.

“International Community shouldn’t sit tight and just look; they must act and voice for JUSTICE for Aung San Suu Kyi and voice for Burma”, said Myo Thein, Director at the Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) in United Kingdom.
UN and world leaders must demand that Aung San Suu Kyi’s house arrest mustn’t be in any case extended and junta must avoid wrongly charging her relating to swimmer incident.
“I would like to call for Mr Barack Obama, Mr Gordon Brown and Mr Ban Ki-Moon to raise your voice and call for the junta to halt any charges against Aung San Suu Kyi”, added Myo Thein.
This is a ploy. This is junta’s cunning act to imprison Aung San Suu Kyi as her 6 years house arrest would be reached on 27 May 2009. Junta wanted to lock Aung San Suu Kyi in jail forever as their rigged 2010 election plan is drawing nearer in which they are setting up everything to win their backed party.
“I couldn’t believe that three most powerful leaders of the free world are unbelievably silent”. As there is a saying in Burmese, “Silencing is agreeing”, and I become doubtful that “Is there any Justice in the world”, said Khin Maung Win, Director at the Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) in United States.
Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) warned that in advance on 12 May 2009 that junta is plotting the ploy to imprison Aung San Suu Kyi. Now, the most fearful thing which we anticipated has come true.
The question is “How UN, EU, ASEAN, and International Community will take action to stop injustice going on in Burma”, added Kyaw Lin Oo, Director at the Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) in Thailand.

Aung San Suu Kyi was lead away from her home by government security forces. *Her destination, Burma’s chamber of horrors, Insein Prison. She will await trial then into a cell to serve out her sentence in Burma’s corrupt kangaroo court system. With no concern for justice or the law Than Shwe has concocted a scheme to break the back of the democracy movement within Burma. His failure to persuade ethnic cease fire groups to become fanciful porters and border lackeys was a major set back on his roadmap to total domination. But not all was lost fore he succeeded in arresting Aung San Suu Kyi on bogus charges in an effort to assert his authority and assure a victory in the illegal 2010 election. And the world looks impotently at yet another horrendous act of inhumanity and absolute corruption.
Than Shwe’s propaganda machines have been turning out some wild stories and it is my suggestion they find jobs in Hollywood. The scripts would almost make a B-Rated movie as ridiculous as the stories are. Of course Than Shwe is throwing in a race card to try and rally support for his lies. His lackey’s speak about morality, virtue and the scarlet woman Aung San Suu Kyi. Guess the wholesale murder of ethnic minorities is not as immoral as having someone intruding in your privacy without your permission. Bombing and maiming innocent men, women and children is just a walk in the park. Spreading vile and incurable diseases to cull the opposition and eliminate villagers also meets higher moral standards. Having sex with children then butchering them to death is exempt from moral scrutiny in the junta’s eyes. Child soldiers stand as a testament to Than Shwe’s concern for the youth of his nation and slaves continue to be killed when they can’t work. Yes, Than Shwe is the pillar of the community, provided you live in hell.
So let the junta spread their vile lies about Aung San Suu Kyi. It is only themselves they are trying to fool fore the world already knows the truth. Than Shwe and his criminal regime are a lie and a fraud. And now the ball is in the court of the international community. It is time to put up your money where your mouth is. The days of rhetoric and feel good speeches have come to no avail. The people of Burma have made their voices heard at great risk to their lives and civil liberties.
With volumes of videos, pictures and eye witnesses surely there is one scrap of evidence that could be used in a court of law. Maybe the facts are too harsh and distasteful to think about because of the gruesome and violent nature in which people were killed by the Burmese Army. How grizzly does a murder have to be before it is a punishable offence under international law? What exactly has to happen to justify a comprehensive world wide response? Obviously morality, humanity and the democratic voice of a nation has little influence in today’s world. Small wonder the world is faced with an unprecedented financial disaster fore money is the only motivator in world politics. It’s all about the money.
I know if I was in their position I would be looking towards my friends to help me out. After all, that’s what friends do, at least in my side of the street. Burma was a critical ally during WWII. Now we sit paralyzed in fear of upsetting the ox cart of lucratively in Asian markets. At one time life was considered priceless, now it’s considered collateral damage and a side bar in the grand scheme of things. If we turn our back on Burma at this juncture, we’ve sold our soul to the devil and we will be rewarded accordingly, in the grand scheme of things. If we don’t stand for humanity there is no civilization.

Sign of change inside of Burma. Long live Burma Democratic Concerns and their allies.
The government of Burma has pulled all the stops as they accelerate their campaign of arrests and imprisonments of all opposition before the proposed 2010 election. The reality is Than Shwe does not have enough prison space even with the 6,000+ prisoners he recently released. Millions of Burmese people had enough of his tyranny. The nations is in an uproar as well as growing numbers of military and government officials, including his inner circle. Though he’s started up another radio station to feed more propaganda to the masses, their ears have already grown deaf to his constant lies.
With the population of Burma touched one way or another by death of loved ones it is hard for him to make new lies about how good things are or will be. His last act of extortion, the constitutional referendum, was a total bomb since his charade only fooled the outside world. His goons used various forms of extortion to force people to vote YES. Starvation and death after Cyclone Nargis was the reward for voting NO on the referendum. The cyclone also afforded him the excuse needed so he could exclude villages and regions from critical aid. Most aid was given to those who voted YES and their villages were used for photo ops to prove to the world he cared for his people, the ultimate lie.
Innumerable accounts of black market sales of donated goods fill the desks of journalists around the world. Pictures courageously taken out of the country verified his antics. Cash was his G*D send as he pocketed most of it for the construction costs of his jungle capital and his cyber city. The Peace Pagoda was only frosting on the cake as he lavished himself with a replica Pagoda. With 3.5 billion dollars stashed away for a rainy day he is still petitioning countries for loot to fill is coffers. Some international corporation still line his pockets and it is appropriate they will soon face a similar fate as he for their total disregard for humanity. It was reprehensible to learn that these foreign corporations used slave labor and also killed innocent people. They know who they are and there are volumes of testimony and photographs that clearly identify corporations and individuals. Eye witnesses have flocked to the borders and other nations to tell their stories. And it is only a matter of time before they have to answer for their conduct.
Paranoia and fear has made cause for his regime to recruit businessmen to work on behalf of the junta as spies and operatives. Many merchants fear for their lives if they don’t participate since unscrupulous businessmen eager to collect a bounty will inform on them. Some taxi operators have been targeted and identified as snitches by sympathetic soldiers and government officials. They identified them to prodemocracy groups around the country. The growing number of freedom fighters and pro democracy organizations are springing up in cities and villages. The fighting peacock is truly awakening within Burma.
Even with all the evidence against him and his regime they nation only wants true reconciliation. In spite of all the blood that has been spilled the people would settle for the release of their voted in officials such as Aung San Suu Kyi. The release of political prisoners would begin the healing process. An open dialogue and peaceful transfer of power would save the criminals of Burma the painful retribution they would face. International corporations would not have to worry about their dark secrets. The realities of the one invincible Khmer Rouge and the trials they are facing should be a grim reminder to Than Shwe and his allies.
Everything always comes full circle and no one is safe from the laws of retribution. And someday soon their day will come. Sadly for Than Shwe he will fulfill Burmese tradition as his empire crumbles in the shadow of the Pagoda he built. It is already known he will die this year. The only question is if it will be of natural causes or by the hand of man. His astrologers, fearful of telling him the truth, continue to cater to his vanity. Personally, I see cancer consuming his body. Only time will tell for the end is near.

Aid for infected gunshot wounds. The Free Burma Rangers humanitarian relief teams provide the only source of medical care in large areas of Eastern Burma. (Source: Free Burma Rangers,)
Innocent casualties of land mines
The angels of mercy within the jungles of Burma, The Free Burma Rangers, have made a personal request for medical supplies. With Than Shwe’s military government of Burma on a campaign of genocide he’s escalated his efforts of killing and maiming by the use of landmines. Scores of refugees fleeing government death squads have lost their limbs and their sight whence they encountered these deadly gifts of modern warfare. The jungles of Burma are riddled with landmines and with devastating effects. Men, women and children are having their bodies mangles, if they survive.
The courageous Free Burma Rangers are getting depleted of critical surgical supplies and are requesting a list of surgical supplies so they can continue their mission of mercy. The marked increase of innocent villagers found on the jungle floor crawling with limbs blown off or simply bled to death force the need for such a worldwide request for supplies.
This is the short list;
MEDICAL SUPPLIES
Gifts of death and dismembermentMedical instruments
Stethoscopes’
BP cuffs
Scalpels
Scalpel blades
Needle holders Forceps
Scissors
Suture of all kind with needles
Dental equipment
Steel syringes
Upper and lower forceps
Elevators
THESE SUPPLIES ARE CRITICALLY NEEDED NOW!
This is the bare bones wish list and I personally know they need medical supplies of all kinds on a grad scale. But realize the magnitude of the situation and it will stagger the imagination since thousands of people are being disfigured, maimed and crippled by these devastating gifts of genocide. You will save lives by your direct donation to the Free Burma Rangers. Medical suppliers and the medical profession as a whole can make a difference by donating critically needed supplies.
YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Many of people ask what they can do to make a difference in the plight of the people of Burma. This is a golden opportunity that will have immediate results since the Free Burma Rangers are in the field as of this writing with more medical unites in the wings. They need our help is gathering supplies to accomplish their humanitarian efforts today.
You can make a difference.

NEWS AND ENTERTAINMENT
From around the World
I receive mail from readers everyday wanting to do something for the people of Burma. On November 22nd 2008 there will be a world wide silent protest and show of Solidarity for the people of Burma. Here at the Buffalohair Gazette we support any and all efforts to bring awareness and support for the cause of democracy, freedom and justice around the world. In an effort to spread the word about this global event we are reposting the news release from Burma Democratic Concerns, located in the UK. Even an armchair observer can make a statement and show solidarity, please read their press release;
FREE BURMA
Burma Democratic Concern called for people around the world to wear white at your own place to show solidarity with Burmese people on six Saturdays staring from 22 November 2008, Burma National Day, until 27 December 2008.
“Please show your support for people of Burma by simply wear WHITE at anywhere you are. We are defending freedom and human rights with non-violent ways. We are paying for the price very dearly as we are facing one of the most brutal military regime in the world. I would like to stress here that Burma crisis is not only Burmese people crisis. It is world’s crisis as we are bond in humanity. We have to work together sensibly in order to eliminate military dictatorship in Burma and in the world at large. Together, we can make the difference and change the lives of Burmese people. We will prevail because we are doing the RIGHT thing. I would like to encourage everyone who loves justice, freedom and liberty to join this event and send the very strong message to the WORLD that there is no place in the world for injustice”, said Myo Thein, Director of Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) in United Kingdom.
Burma crisis is now in crucial situation. Even though National League for Democracy (NLD) led by Aung San Suu Kyi won 1990 elections overwhelmingly held by very Generals who are currently ruling the country, ignore to honour the elections results. Although International Community is calling for the release of all political prisoners, military regime defied it by sentencing political dissidents to prison for up to 65 years each.
“We have to eliminate military dictatorship in Burma before junta plan to hold rigged 2010 elections, unless otherwise Burma will be under brutal military dictatorship forever and ever and ever. We have to stop it sensibly and it is our duty to do the RIGHT thing. If United Nations fail to intervene in this very critical situation, it will send WRONG message to the Burmese people and people around the world that if you got the guns and power, you can do whatever you want and kill the people well before the international community and get away with it” said Khin Maung Win, Director at the Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) in United States.
In 2006 and 2007, 88-Generation Students launched the ‘White Expression Campaign” , “Multi-faith prayer campaign”, “Sunday White Campaign”: calling for the Burmese people to show their support by wearing white clothes and praying for national reconciliation and release of all political prisoners. Now they are in PRISONS.
“We have to do what we can to show our UNITY with the heroes of Burma. It is our duty to keep up the flame alight in order to restore democracy in Burma”, said Kyaw Lin Oo, Director at the Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) in Thailand.
Our leader, Aung San Suu Kyi once said that “Everyone got a role in democratisation process of Burma. When you see INJUSTICE, do not sit tight and just look. Do not ignore unjust to let it happen. When you see injustice, try your best to stand by with justice. Do something and voice for JUSTICE”.
Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) call for people around the world to wear white every Saturdays, at your very own place, starting on 22nd November 2008 (Saturday) until 27th December 2008 (Saturday), as the expression of solidarity with everyone who are working to restore justice, human rights and democracy in Burma.
The point is that even though we are in various places and locations, but we are stick together with the HEROES of Burma and we are with them.
Please participate wherever you are to show the solidarity and spread this to everyone you know.
Please show your support for people of Burma by simply wear WHITE at anywhere you are. Please see the links below.

When you get a hold of Myo Thein, just say Buffalohair Sent you eh;
Buffalohair Gazette International
“De Lout Athon Makya Da Shithe La”, How far beyond stupid have we become?
Ibrahim Gambari has made another appearance in Burma. Chances are he will enjoy an opulent meal or two, have a few conversations and wonder why Aung San Suu Kyi will not speak with him. Umm, let me play the Devil’s Advocate here for a second eh.
Well Ibrahim I guess you’re wondering why Suu Kyi is not speaking to you. She ignored your messengers at her home when they arrived and shouted your name. And dude, I just got to ask you, what are you thinking anyway?
Maybe Suu Kyi has grown tired of your endless visits that bare no fruit and only gives Than Shwe the look of legitimacy. Yup Gambari, all your visits have done is foster a bogus image of the criminal military junta by making them look like they really want change. Surely you read the Constitutional Referendum Than and his hoods wrote. Yet you did nothing. In fact you’ve become an enabler for genocide with your sugar coated visits.
Let’s get back to the basics eh. Why haven’t you called into contest the fact Aung San Suu Kyi was the duly appointed steward of Burma as of the elections of 1990 when her and the National League for Democracy won 82% of the parliamentary seats? Fact is this was a landslide victory for the vast majority of the population of Burma. What is the problem Gambari? What haven’t you or your so called agency responded to the cries of the people of Burma?
With atrocity after atrocity human beings are systematically killed in an on going act of genocide yet your agency sits by and sends out angry e-mails. When will the United Nations act on the blatant human rights violations that are occurring while you eat your fancy meals in Rangoon City? Dare we mention the Cyclone Nargis fiasco and how human beings are starving to death as we speak? Children are dying of starvation in the Chin State do to famine Ibrahim or did you get that message?
The Mon, Karen, Shan and other tribal people are being targeted for ethnic cleansing yet the UN does nothing.
Aung San Suu Kyi’s sentence was over with a few months ago. Why haven’t you made a REAL effort to get her out of house arrest? She has stopped taking food a few weeks ago. Do you think she is trying to send a message Gambari?? Now you look with promise to yet another junta sponsored election on 2010. There is no question it will be another bogus election filled with intimidation and fear for the general population. It’s plain to see you have become inert in dealing with real issues because I can’t see that you’ve accomplished anything other than offer false hope and give Than Shwe’s military junta a face lift.
How long must Aung San Suu Kyi be incarcerated for the crime of being duly elected by the people of Burma? Now that she is not taking food are we going to sit by and watch her die? Burma does not need a martyr; Burma needs the love and leadership of Suu Kyi.
