Taha Yassin Ramadhan is at risk of being sentenced to death and executed. The numerous gross human rights violations perpetrated during the rule of Saddam Hussein are well documented, and Amnesty International has welcomed the opportunity for justice and accountability. But justice for criminals only comes through fair trials and without use of the death penalty.
