My Page Billboard
''I looked around at all the suffering, homeless animals in the world.  I saw the abuse, neglect, and pain.

I looked up to Heaven and said, 'Why???  Why don't you do something to help all these animals?'

The reply came back, 'I did do something.  I CREATED YOU!!!'''

About Me An avid animal lover who believes everyone deserves to be treated with kindness, dignity, and respect. Quite the opposite of seeing through rose-colored glasses, in my work every day, I see the horror and pain of so many pets. I believe we can make things better by working hard and giving voice to those who have no voice.

My Philosophy My philosophy is to always do the best I can with what I have to better my life and the lives of others.
What Gives Me Hope Looking into the eyes of a puppy or kitten we've just saved.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by If I were Governor of Texas, I'd change the law which makes pets property to a law which gives pets greater rights and harsher punishment for those who torture, neglect, and/or mistreat animals in any way.
What/who changed my life and why The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant by Stephen R. Donaldson changed my life because it taught me that no matter how bad things get, no matter how many mistakes I make, there's always hope.

Quotation We should be careful to get out of an experience only the wisdom that is in it -- and stop there; lest we be like the cat that sits down on a hot stove-lid. She will never sit down on a hot stove-lid again -- and that is well; but also she will never sit down on a cold one any more. - Mark Twain
