As you can see my animals mean a great deal to me and as a result I’m very much into animal activism and preventing abuse and cruelty to animals both wild and domestic. Take a look at the links below and get involved in the fight to prevent cruelty to animals. They don’t have a voice, we have to be that voice.
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. Her bright eyes are intent; Her eager body quivers. Suddenly she begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, her legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.

Wait for me at the bridge little girl...
First and foremost lets get this straight up front. I am not interested in dating, hooking up, having a one night stand or having a relationship. So don’t ask. I’m only here to make friends. I am happily married and have no desire to stray.
Now about me, lets see... I’m a 25 year old, green eyed, blonde haired female who live in Georgia. There’s your basics. I’m married to a wonderful guy I’ve known for 18 years and until recently neither of us realized the other loved them back. He finally asked me out and the rest is history. He and I are a classic love story and we like it that way, gives us something to tell the grand kids someday.
I spend most of my time with my husband, my mom or my pets. When I’m not busy at work or doing an errand or chores I’m probably surfing the net, watching tv or reading a book. When I have “me” time that is. A large portion of my free time is spent in quality time with my family because I strongly believe family is very important.
My pets are a large part of my life, they are like children to me and mean as much as any other member of my small family. I have 2 dogs and 1 cat. My mom has 2 dogs and we all live together so there are 4 dogs total. My dogs are: Ewok, my 9 year old keeshond/shih tzu mix, who’s mommy’s little girl in every way, even if she is a bit psycho. I’ve had her since the day she was born. My husband and I have a 7 year old beagle as well, named Griffin for the city he came from. Griffin was adopted from the Spaulding County Animal Shelter on his last day there. He was scheduled to be put to sleep at 4:30pm that day, we got there at 3pm. A narrow miss but he loves his new home and is a lover. He’s more my husband’s dog than mine but he still likes to con mommy out of treats and cuddles. My cat is Khary (short for Khar’Pern, named for the catlike heroine from the Ghatti’s Tale books by Gayle Greeno) who is a 4 year old Maine coon mix. Khary is also a rescue who showed up on my door step maimed and starved. She had been attacked and was nothing but skin and bones, she meowed at me so pitifully and that did it, my mom and I got her fixed up and now she’s her own Cinderkitty story. And you better believe she takes full advantage of it. My mom’s dogs are an 12 year old red and white shih tzu named Amber who is also the mother of Ewok. We found her as a stray already pregnant and took her in. Her other dog is a beige and white shih tzu named Gizmo. Gizmo is psychotic, there really isn't much more to say about him. I think he's about 5 years old but since he is a rescue I can't be sure.
My precious little girl passed away. Bambi, was my 15 year old Chihuahua and my heart. I'd had her since the day she was born and I had her until the day she died. She was a real lil’ diva and ruled the house. For her the world stopped. She was my little light and she always will be, I'll love her and miss her everyday for the rest of my life. No one can know how much she truly meant to me.
As you can see my animals mean a great deal to me and as a result I’m very much into animal activism and preventing abuse and cruelty to animals both wild and domestic.
