I greatly value my free time and am willing to work very hard to make sure I keep as much of it as possible. I'm very optimistic and work to keep myself that way by actively seeking out information that gives me hope. I go after my dreams and don't give up easily. I strongly value community and intend to live within communities throughout my life. I want to help make the world a better place by encouraging responsible economic activity (socially responsible investing, right livelyhood, fair trade, community based currency, etc.) Food is also very important to me. I try to eat as organic and local as possible, especially when it comes to meat. As a result, I cook the vast majority of my own meals. Yes, I know I'm unusual. I'm a 24 year old man who can cook! I generally tend to eat vegan, but when I can get local, grass feed, organic meat I love it! It is very important to me to lead by example and to walk my talk. I try to integrate my values into my daily actions whenever possible (thank you to my x-girlfriend Julie for helping me on integrating my values and my daily actions). I like to surround myself with people who have similar values and goals, but want to keep an open mind and approach to dealing with people from all walks of life.
