Hi,
I'm a passionate environmentalist/ecologist.  I'm a vegetarian on the staff of the American Vegan Society www.americanvegan.org.  I'm the reviewer of new books, for our quarterly magazine American Vegan.  I also, decide what we sell as a nonprofit bookseller.  I am active in promoting a vegetarian lifestyle, for optimal health, the animals and the planet.  I support/promote public transportation, organic/natural foods and locally farmed and sourced whenever possible. 
Now my interests/hobbies are: listening to old time radio shows, 1930's-early 1960's, popular music 1920's-early 1950's, All styles of jazz, except the smooth stuff.  I'm a railfan, that is a lover of trains, especially passenger, street cars, subways and light rail.  Lastly, I'm a small movie/theatre preservationist.  I love supporting 1-4 screen, independent movie theatres and drive-ins.

If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by Is close down all slaughter houses, drastically cut the military budget, and fully fund public transportation, especially Amtrak.
