Living in Florida, what I hear as an Air Conditioning tech is "it costs me so much money to run my A/C, can you do something about it?"
The truth is, there is a company in Florida that manufactures a small electronics module, that is a power saver, but maintains your room temperature. They claim it saves 20% of you’re A/C power usage, but having done actual tests, I have found that it saves more. The worst test I have come up with is a 17% saving, but I have done one that saved 34%.
The 17% test was done on an old unit that was in the 3ton (36000 BTUs) size, and was that under sized, it was replaced with a 5ton (60000 BTUs) at a later stage. The power saver not only saved 17% on power usage before the upgrade; it even managed to lower the room temperature to.
But due to people being so scared of scammers, they will not even let me put one on free of any charge for usage, for testing purposes and prove to them that it works.
The local electric’s company says that 45% of all your electric bill is to run you’re A/C, but I think in this time in life, that’s an out dated quota. My believe is its more like 60% to 65% of all your electric usage is to run you A/C. You do the math, the warmer it gets, the higher your electric bill gets. Think about it!
Being a person that is very concerned with global warming, I believe that in my trade, any thing I can do to help lower electric needs, is a step in the right direction. Not only am I trying to help in global warming, I’m trying to put money into peoples pockets.
If your remotely interested in any thing I have said here, just take a look at this website, and take it from an A/C tech who cares, this product actually do pay for its self.
