I'm a twenty-year-old queer Quaker from California. Fluent in Spanish and English; studying German. I'm the eldest of four homeschooled children, looking to follow in the footsteps of my techie mother. I'm passionate about justice: I'm determined to fight for a system in which I'm no better off than anyone else by virtue of my white middle-class background, nor any worse off for being female and gay.

Change the election system. On the local level, politicians should have a level playing field -- no more donation-run campaigns. On a larger scale, the electoral college needs to be eliminated.
What/who changed my life and why
Star Trek: TOS, because in some ways it's more progressive than the modern media. It was a huge wakeup call for me when I watched it.
