In my personal life, I love rock climbing, mountain biking, and experiencing life to the fullest. In my professional life, I teach and train people how to survive and work safely in dangerous occupations.
I got into the Health & Safety business 31 years ago, when I pulled a supervisor and a friend's body parts out of a 5000lbs meat grinder due to an "industrial accident" at a meat company I worked for in Toronto, Canada. I guess you would say that is when I received my "calling".
I love what I do, it is very rewarding, it is always interesting, I meet and talk to a lot of different people and the travelling is a bonus...I love flying.
I also love learning new things, over the years, I have earned a Degree in Business Management, a Bachelor degree in Medical Sciences, a Master of Medical Sciences Degree and my doctorate in Health Sciences, all in the US.
I compete in Warrior Dash each year...that's pretty wild, lol.
A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have. The government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves -- tax it. If it keeps moving -- regulate it. And if it stops moving subsidize it. Giving money and power to government is like giving whiskey and car keys to teenagers...disaster is imminent. What this country needs are more unemployed politicians.
I have a religion--but you will call it blasphemy. It is that there is a God for the rich man but none for the poor or sick.....Perhaps your religion will sustain you, will feed you -- but I place no dependence in mine. Our religions are alike, though, in one respect -- neither can make a man happy when he is out of luck.
