No Dog Left Behind Facebook page

July 31,2011

On Sunday evening, followers of the Facebook fan page for No Dog Left Behind, got a message that they never wanted to see from someone that they had come to know and love through the world virtual friendship,

To the No Dog left Behind fan page followers, If you're reading this it means I didn't make it back. Please do not mourn my death. You are some of the nicest, and most whole hearted people I have ever had the privilege of being affiliated with. I love you all and wish you all the best that this world has to offer. God bless you all, the U.S. Military, and the USA. Rangers Lead The Way! De Oppresso Liber!

James

The words were written by James, an Army Ranger who created the No Dog Left Behind Facebook Fan page.

No Dog Left Behind, is a Military Channel show about troops who rescued dogs found in Iraq and brought them home.

Though many of James' fans have requested that his last name be shared, so that they can remember him by his full name, those now in charge of the Facebook page have declined - only sharing that he was an Army Ranger who leaves behind a wife and unborn child, and that he was killed in action.

It has been reported that James was killed while dragging another wounded soldier to safety.

Condolences and words of thanks are now pouring in to the page from individuals wishing to thank a man for his service and to honor his memory.

Rest in Peace James - a champion to the dogs, a hero to all.

MY MAIN INTEREST IN LIFE IS TO HELP AND SAVE AS MANY ANIMALS AS I CAN. IN ORDER TO ACCOMPLISH AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE,WE HAVE TO GET THE FACTS OUT.PETITIONS HAVE TO BE SIGNED.PEOPLE MUST KNOW ABOUT THE ABUSE THAT IS HAPPENING SO THEY CAN TAKE THE PROPER ACTIONS.ANIMALS IN HIGH KILL SHELTERS NEED TO HAVE THEIR PROFILES SHOWN.RESCUED ANIMALS NEED HOMES SO MORE CAN BE PULLED.THEREFORE I DO A LOT OF NETWORKING.I DO FORWARD A LOT TO MY FRIENDS.THE ONLY WAY WE CAN SAVE LIVES IS BY KNOWING WHAT IS HAPPENING.AND I WELCOME FORWARDS IN RETURN.AS LONG AS THERE IS ONE ANIMAL HURTING,WE WILL NOT STOP HELPING.I ALSO WILL DO ANYTHING POSSIBLE TO HELP THE CHILDREN THAT ARE BEING EXPLOITED ,ARE ABUSED,HOMELESS AND NEED OUR COMBINED ATTENTION.WE CAN NOT TURN OUR BACKS ON THE LITTLE ONES.....AND I LOVE ALL MY FRIENDS FOR THE HARD WORK THAT THEY DO.

About Me I have spend much of my adult life trying to help animals.I was fortunate when I discovered Care 2.I spend many hours every day reading news stories and signing petitions. And yes petitions do make a difference.People change when they know the world is watching them.I invite animal loving and child loving individuals to be my friend, but I will tell you now,I do send forwards out almost every day. That is the only way to get the facts out and get the petitions signed. The only way we will make a difference. And I intend to make a difference before my last day comes

Quotation "Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society's punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way."
