hello!
We are lucky enough to have a pair of Peregrine Falcons living in our city!
they have been here since 1997 and i have been on the Falcon Watch every year since 1999. During the first couple of flights, the chicks can and someitmes do  run into trouble, that is were the Watchers can help out.. they can land in the middle of the street or any orther awkward location, and as a watcher, i can retrieve them. once they are deemed ok, they can be returned to the nest ledge, {26 floors up!} and they try again. It is a great and very rewarding experience to do this and watch them fly over head for the first time.
