Hello! Hallo! Hola! I am an open-minded spiritual person who is passionate about the environment and loving life. I love dancing til dawn and I've also been a dj now for a few years. Hiking and being in nature rules too!
I've met the Smashing Pumpkins and have kicked it with Frankie Bones once. I was voted most unique girl senior year in highschool.
My Philosophy
I am constantly trying to better myself and the world. My Christian spiritual beliefs strengthen me and help me do this. I acknowledge that Jesus was probably black and if Jesus is chillin' with us now as a man, he's probably a Jewish Buddhist. Catholicism angers me. I guess I could kind of consider myself a Unitarian Universalist. I am also influenced by buddhist and Native American thought.
What Gives Me Hope
When I see unnecessary acts of kindness, when a large group of people gets together and mobilizes to protest or take action, LOVE & THE GREAT SPIRIT.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
ban the use of fossil fuels and start implementing renewable energies that have less impact on the environment, (Not "safe nuclear" or "clean coal"); then make everything else as sustainable as possible.

Just to note, I think we romantics are a threatened species in this era of a sex-crazed society driven by garbage tv shows and advertising that appeal to our animal instinct which seeks instant pleasure.
This time of year is also connected with a feeling of love and new beginnings. Only one month until Spring! and the Buddhist New Year is around this time too. So for those of you Valentine's/love cynics out there, appreciate the love you feel whether it is for others or simply for yourself or your creator. If you want to challenge yourself, love everyone, including your enemies. We are all one.
While I've always been a hopeless romantic, the only meaning Valentine's Day ever really had for me was that it was my anniversary for the four year relationship I had with my first love. Besides that, I always thought of it as a cheesy Hallmark holiday. Now my view is somewhat changing. The world we live in today needs as much love as it can get! Of course we should cherish the love we share all of the time, but what's so bad about designating a day to show it a little extra? If only people had such loathing for Columbus Day as they do for Valentine's Day . . .
