About Me my goal each day is to love and laugh as much as possible...

My background is in the arts (sculpture) but I've been practicing and teaching massage therapy for the last 5 years. I also teach an art history class at a local college to satisfy and share my love for art. I'm grateful each day for the opportunity to do the things I love.

Life has offered me a generous share of opportunities to grow and expand through experience and I don't sweat the small stuff much. I'm pretty laid back, soft-spoken, and perfectly ok with quiet. I enjoy time with my friends and my children, and early morning more than the wee hours of the night.

Outside of "work", I spend as much time as I can in nature, hiking and exploring, gardening on my balcony, kayaking in the warmer months.
I grew up in the southwest and have lived several places before landing here in Alabama. I have 2 more years before my youngest graduates highschool, then I will be off to find a place to call "home". So many places to explore!

I'm looking forward to the next chapter of this journey, and while I'm not sure it's in the cards, it would be nice to share it with a partner/co conspirator.

    universal compassion
The assumption that animals are without rights and the illusion that our treatment of them has no moral significance is a positively outrageous example of Western crudity and barbarity. Universal compassion is the only guarantee of morality."
