On my Holiday i suddenly found the urge to go into a church during a time when no body would be in there.
It has been years since i have actually gone into one, because i have found it hard to find any affinity to any particular Religion. i do believe in the spirit and the soul everlasting, and that from out of the Darkness came light. And that the light formed the Universe. but now with all the conflicts in existing in the world the Darkness is once more extinguishing the light. With all the conflict that different religions have inflicted on man, i find it hard to believe in any particular one. I believe that all Religions come from the same beginning, and that each one was conceived by the wise men and Prophets of that particular Race and culture a way of discipline ,and laws to live by so that we could live in peace with one another. and if these Laws and disciplines were kept then peace and tranquillity would rule. But the Greed of some use The differences to try and take what belong to others, instead of embracing the differences and tying to live in peace. on visiting this Church i did discover an inner peace of mind, and vow that i shall try to understand all points of view. and not one particular path. for to find peace with ones fellow man, one must first find peace within himself. And yes i do know that a lot of people will just laugh at what i have written. But that's what democracy is all about , the right to say and think what ever one wished.
(1)Is mankind going to far? in trying to create life artificially? (2)They say man was made in the image of (God) ? Does that give him the right to try and emulate him.? (3) Are All religions, a path to the same end? (4) What is the real Creator of the universe? (5) what is the purpose of the soul in this Moral body? (6) what was the purpose of humans being born of different origins, and languages? (7) Can we not sit down and listen to what all have to say about what they believe, in a constructive way, so that all can benifit from each others knowledge? (8) or is this why there are so many different lauguages, so that man can not find the truth and the perpopse for the creation of the universe?
Remembering Fallen Comrades
Fredrick Hunt
Charles Saunders Borneo 1965As a member of 11 Plt 1st Royal Green Jackets, Fred and charlie were personal comrades in arms fighting in the jungles of Borneo. Below is the last place thatFred and Charlie would ever see in this life. . The jungle outpost our last in Borneo. one that will never been forgottenfor this is the place that two of our comrades gave their all for queen and country
It was mid January 1965 the Regiment were to be replaced by the Gurkha Regiment. we had but three days to go before returning to Panang Island our main base in Malaya, returning to Panang we were then to return to England , and then for a tour of Duty to Berlin Germany. all the talk was what we would do on returning to England. Myself i was to be married on my return. All Fred could talk about was his Girlfriend back home , and how they were to be engaged to be married. Not know what was to happen. Around the perimeter were mines to prevent the enemy from creeping up on you in the night, or to prevent a frontal assault on our position. as these mines were getting old, the decision to remove them was taken and Fred and Charlie were picked to collect them in for destruction. on completion of the task, how ironic was it that it was these same mines that took their lives. it was established that one of the mines was probably still primed, and as they were carrying them to a safe spot for destruction, they exploded whilst they were carrying them. . as we were all watching to see the mines destroyed, it was with horror that we saw all that happened , and it will stay with us for ever.
Mother Nature
Mother Nature
If you are young then this is a good lesson, but if you are like myself, who has experienced life ?? well believe me, it is hard to live with yourself when you look back at some of the things that you have done and now live to regret?? i now believe that every living thing has a soul and a spirit. not just Humans as many believe. i do not subscribe to any particular belief other than what i feel in myself , what i feel from within. i respect all , wish none harm, and believe in people making up there own mind as to what is right or wrong. for it is they who must live with what ever decision that they may take. I am living with mine. some i like but many i do not. if the young were to respect and listen to their elders , respect and love all other living things then the world would be a much better place to live in. every thing has a purpose and is part of our existence if we persist in destroying our environment , then it is going to jump back and punish us for the damage that we have done to her. ask forgiveness to all that you must use of mother nature for she is the one who feeds you cloths you and allows you to live beside her. she can take life just as easy as she gives it, so show her the respect that she deserves.

"Keep your life simple because the more you get, the more complicated it becomes." --Joe Coyhis, STOCKBRIDGE-MUNSEE (Native)The old ones say, lead a simple life. The society we live in is all about getting more houses, cars, luxury and credit cards. The law of worry says, the more you have, the more you need to worry. You get a house, then you need insurance, then you need to take care of the yard and the list goes on. Next, you may want a bigger house with a bigger yard whick costs more in insurance. Along with the accumulation of materialism, are other "gifts." Soon you become a slave and the materialism owns you. Lead a simple life and have peace of mind. Lead a simple life and be spiritual.
