And It Goes A Lil' Something Like This...
I ran away from LOVE but it found me again (whether it be in myself or in a significant other I'll never tell)
"The Basics"
My Kicks are cool
My Nails kick ass
I don't hide behind hair, so I ocassionally cut it off
And I think matching is for lames
Full of imagination and passion plus a bit on the deep side, I flow with my soul
I'M A JUNKIE 4:
Reading
Standing in the rain
and Watching her sleep
I make P.I.N.K. look sexy
MY EYES TELL A STORY
And I Let My Mind Speak For Me
I'm Afrikan and DON'T DEAR TRY TO TELL ME ANYTHING DIFFERENT.
I LOVE MYSELF AND MY FAMILY AND THAT'S WHY I DO THIS WORK CALLED: BEING A REVOLUTIONARY.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not arguing for the sake of changing you at all. I only argue to implore people to take action for the world. You already are. I just like debating...I thought you knew that. Like I was saying, it's basically tomato tomahto. You prefer depth. I prefer breadth. As long as you're doing something to change the world in a positive way, I support you. All that aside, how would a person who ventured only to help those of European descent be viewed?...Nevermind.
Fair enough. Howvever, you've misunderstood something. I don't intend to accuse you of racism. I know you're not racist. What I accuse you of is discrimination. It seems to me that whether or not you help people depends on the color of their skin. Is that justified?Do the starving children of Europe not merit your concern? Cambodia? I just want to understand...or get you to understand-whichever is best. Although...it may just be a tomato, tomahto thing.
O...so you DO support causes outside of purely Black concerns. I've just noticed that you've joined the Free Tibet group. Showing support for "outsiders", huh? Maybe there's hope for you yet.
Nevermind the email. I'll give it to you on Monday. Here's a sample:"In many parts of the African continent I saw white students helping black people. Something like this kills a lot of argument. I did many things as a [black] Muslim that I'm sorry for now."
You've seemingly chosen to ignore El-Hajj's later ideas. He was no longer seperatist. I've sent significant proof to your email at Yahoo that wouldn't fit here.
While I respect your views, I must question them. What do you expect to happen for YOUR causes, if you do nothing to help others? How beautiful will the world be when we continue to pollute the environment and hasten global warming? Because of the destruction of the rain forest, we lose 250 species of animals each day. The food used to feed animals for eating could be used to feed the impoverished people of the world, because, for every pound of meat, 16 pounds of grain are used (wasteful). How can you purpose to advocate for only one cause? The global community is much like any community. When each component prospers each porospers, When few prosper while others suffer, as is the divide between the rich and the poor, there is chaos. MLK once said,"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." I don't mean to assume, but too often we hear only part of what our leaders say. I really want to know why.
I'm not being pushy. I'm just sayin'...You have to save the wales. Become vegan. Promote peace. Save Darfur. Save the world. That's all. What do I have to say or do to get you to take this seriously?
I hate the word 'belated'. It sounds like a symptom of metapause, if you don't mind my saying so. I don't mean to be pushy...but you SHOULD get a lot more butterflies. It's just a suggestion. No push...Maybe a lil' lotta bit...
Oh and you SHOULD delete the aforementened comments...and endorse the Earth Charter at www.EarthCharter.com...That is all.
