About Me What is A Psychic Really?


That's a good question. There are thousands of books, courses and seminars focused on this issue, not to mention movies and television and many more thousands offering the services that can come from using our psychic abilities. There are also thousands of books, seminars and courses devoted to the skeptical side of this issue, those that question the validity of actual psychic ability.

I am a skeptical psychic. I am willing to go through the processes of my own personal psychic abilities yet I question what I am doing every step of the way. There is nothing wrong with marrying logic with spirituality, they actually work very well together. Mostly.


As far as I understand it right now, psychic ability is similar to musical talent. I can say I am a musician and the guy standing next to me can say that he's a musician but this doesn't mean we do the same thing, play the same songs or instruments or even like the same type of music.
This is a perfect way to see psychic ability.
I do, in fact, sing. I love singing and I do it very well for my particular style and taste. My singing can inspire others, make them feel something, move them in ways that nothing else can. I have a talent for it. I do not however, have a talent for playing piano. I've made efforts to learn and I've found no real inborn motivation to keep it going. I do acknowledge that others can and do play the piano very well but when they try to play a saxophone, the musical skills may desert them.

This is what it means to be psychic. It's an ability that anyone and everyone has the opportunity to explore yet some people just won't bother because it doesn't grab them or motivate them in any way.

Also, exploring psychic ability can be quite painful at times and this can dissuade many from further investigation.


Yes, but what is psychic ability?

My psychic ability is first, about picking up energy. If I were to explain that, this would end up as a book, so let me just keep it at that, I pick up energy and I transmit energy. Everyone does this but usually the interactions stay in an unconscious state and go unnoticed.


I have an ability to pick up on how people are feeling about things they don't want to talk about with anyone. I can see other elements of people that they don't normally pay attention to but that are essential to their well being. Unfortunately, this makes some people uncomfortable so I am in a constant state of trying to turn this ability off when I'm around others. This is why I am able to have very close bonds with animals - they are never embarrassed or confused about who they should be or how they should act, they just are and that is always enough for them. Animals are also much less afraid of life and death and all the processes that go with this experience than they may appear to us. They are vibrant and alive, full of thoughts and feelings but they are also living in the moment and because of this, their energy flows freely and honestly.

I also pick up on energy signatures that are created from past events. I am very suseptable to imprints on the environment left behind by activities of people, animals and sometimes even plants if there is enough of them. Sometimes this makes it feel as if everywhere I go is haunted but that rarely the case. Most places that feel haunted are simply looping through old imprinted information of past events. There is no living energy present just 'recordings' of past times.


Then there is the living energy, people and animals that have passed on. "I see dead people." It sounds like a joke to many people and it is very controversial since there is apparently, no scientific evidence of this being possible, is there? Some say there is but I can't say that I know for sure. I have experiences with these energies and that's all I know. I find this ability difficult and disturbing. It's intrusive and makes me feel vulnerable at times. Vulnerable to what? I am not exactly sure. None of that energy can actually hurt me in any physical way although some of it is very dark and disturbed, just like people. It is, after all, just people and not everyone makes the same choices when they 'cross over', there are levels and some of those levels are really weird to me.
I should add that I don't see dead people outside of myself and it would be more accurate to say I feel dead people's energies. At this point, I only seem to pick up on people that haven't crossed over for one reason or another. I actually make an effort to not work with people that have died because I do find it somewhat unpleasant and draining. It's the ones that haven't crossed over that cause emotional problems, tiredness, and a general feeling of intrusion. I am finding that Reiki healing methods really work at blocking these energies out. I'd like to help them cross over or do something positive so they leave us alone and as I get better at using my abilities, I may be able to be of service in that regard. I am still having trouble accepting the whole thing as reality but I've had so many varifiable experiences that it's still worth investigating.

I also find these abilities disturbing because it's hard to talk about with others. I don't have access to a psychic support group to help me sort out the things that come up because of this and since there are so many television shows, movies and books about this issue now, it's getting harder and harder to communicate with anyone on an intelligent level about this kind of thing.

A grand archetype has been created for what a psychic or medium should be, but just like every other archetype, it comes short of the actual experience.


I also pick up on people's codes which is to say the blueprint of their current lives, a blueprint they created for themselves. This is why I can pick up on Animal Spirit Guides, they are in a person's code (chart, blueprint, map or whatever you want to call it, instruction manual, if you will.) There are many aspects to this chart, it's usually very complex, detailed and intricate. I call them Holy Code Life Charts, each of us has created a unique code for ourselves.


Now, for what I don't do . . .


I don't predict the future. I have no business telling anyone who Mr./Mrs. Right is going to be or if they should do something or not do something.
In my perspective, the future is nothing, it's a complete void of all things tangible. As a psychic, I don't have any access to knowing what is going to happen. That's not what I do. Maybe some psychics do and that's what I mean about comparing this ability to musical talent. I can sure sing but I can't play piano. So, I never make predictions about others, ever. I may come out with advice based on what I see in a life chart but that has more to do with tapping in to your energy as opposed to predicting a future.


Another thing I must clarify is that I am not 'New Age' or religious. I am not adding this fact because I think there is anything wrong with being either, it's just that I'm not.

I don't tell people what Angels are, what they look like or what they do for a living or in their case for God and to help humanity. I certainly can't tell you what light ray Jesus Christ is traveling on or who exactly the Elohim are.

One time, I had a dream where Jesus told me one simple thing, "You don't have to pay for your spirituality." That was it. Well, there was another thing but it's personal and I don't care to share it with anyone.


I am seriously skeptical of 'channeled' messages coming from anyone else. This isn't to say I don't believe that people are channeling information from unseen sources, just that I don't put a lot of stock in the messages being meant for widespread distribution or the interpretations of them being appropriate or accurate or even useful. I actually do participate in personal channeling, which is to say that I ask questions and receive answers in unaltered states, ie meditations, dreams and present moment awareness. Yes, I do call those the unaltered states. What I do not do is attach names, heirarcheries, cultures or other such labels to these things. I never get messages from anywhere that tell me I must impart this profound message to all of humanity.


My personal best psychic gift is to empower others to get close to their own personal psychic gifts so that they can have an intimate experience with life on earth. Not other people's lives on earth but their own life on earth. I find that most people I meet are so disconnected and detached from life that they can't function well as human beings. I am not talking about mental illness or addictions or bad relationships, those are symptoms. I am talking about a deep respect for life on earth that goes beyond personal ego issues, money and social ambition.


I am not interested in having people become dependent on my psychic ability, I am interested in directing others to develop their own connections and bonds with their own deepest selves.


I am not trying to create an industry around these abilities but I would enjoy being part of a human community that acknowledges and accepts this most important aspect of ourselves as normal and healthy.

This isn't easy in the current western society environment. Spirituality and psychic developments are still on the fringes.

There are a lot of pitfalls to the early stages of psychic development and many people fall by the wayside and get lost in the consumerism of it all. This is where the healthy skeptic in us all can make a wonderful and supportive appearance because the healthy skeptic is asking us to please not give our power away to gurus and guides. When skeptic and psychic join in healthy union, they both serve to empower the individual with unsurpassed spiritual wisdom that is useful for living a high quality life.


So when you come to me for a psychic reading, I will provide you with something to ponder, I will not tell you how it is, or what you must do. I will introduce you to unseen forces around you but I will not tell you how to use them to make more money or get dates. I cannot talk to your ego.


I am a willing psychic. I am willing to use the abilities I've and others have discovered in me to assist others in living authentically. I do not need you to believe anything specifically or jump on a bandwagon or worship anyone. From my personal experience of the spiritual help that each of us has surrounding us in every moment of our lives, I want to share the profound wisdom that exists in the molecules and atoms within and around us. We are indeed, surrounded by loving beings all the time, most of which we don't see and can't hold on to but we can share that love. I do think that our brains are wired to pick up on these things but most of us occupy ourselves with mundane tasks.


As well as helping others using my psychic abilities, I have also trained extensively as a Reiki healer. I use Reiki healing methods to clear away negativity from people, animals, houses and buildings, objects and/or outdoor sites.


Using Reiki healing is a fantastic way to bond with others in a positive manner that can quickly surpass egos and make connections on a spiritual level.


I'm sure that I could go on and on about being a psychic or a shaman, mystic, exorcist, visionary, medium or whatever other labels put on me and these abilities but I really am just one of many millions of people actively using these talents in hopes of bringing some quality of life to this weird society that we created and instinctively know we must grow out of in order prosper as a whole unit.
