About Me I am a honest, straightforward, outspoken person. I love to laugh and make others laugh. I am quite laid back, open-minded and easygoing. I am an avid sports fan and enjoy watching/attending ACC/NFL football and ACC basketball games (Go NC State!). And I am always up for a hike or a camping trip. I just love being outdoors!

I have traveled to Europe, Canada, and the Bahamas. On the weekends, I travel often to visit friends and family out-of-town. I am quite adventurous and always looking to travel on occasion whether it's in the U.S. or overseas.

I am extremely compassionate about animals, people and the world environment. I am in grad school currently and aiming to get my masters in international studies. My undergrad degree was in political science with a minor in environmental sciences. I want to someday work with less fortunate people in third world countries and also work in the protection of the environment and animals.

What Gives Me Hope
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by If I were President, I would focus on bettering the US econonmy. I would most certainly focus on trade and see how the US can phase out the closing of US furniture and textile companies and see what we could do to keep them here. No more depending on China for cheaply made products! And I would also concentrate on bettering the protection of all animals with better laws and concentrating on bettering the environment and cleaning up this nation.
What/who changed my life and why When I was 17, my best friend and first love, Jeff Lynch, was killed in a car accident. This incident completely turned my view of life around and made me realize how precious life is and how to never take advantage of it. Even though it was a devastating event in my life, it helped me turn into a more caring and appreciative person who is passionate about life and living it to its fullest.
